I am giving this way too much thought. More than RC, but Kayla and Kim were in LA, correct? Perhaps neither Adrienne/Justin/Kayla made much effort to see each other? I think a long time ago it was mentioned Kayla was still deep in mourning for years, so maybe she was just depressed lol. I am not a huge fan of Kayla, Adrienne or Justin, so I'll allow it 🤣 Maybe Kim raised Stephanie mostly and that's why Stephanie generally makes horrible decisions in her love life.

Very strange. Even if Angelica had fictional full custody, it would make no sense for Alex to never meet his cousin his entire life lol. Maybe it's because Steve was fakedead and Kayla wasn't proactive about meeting up with Steve's family? Doesn't seem like Kayla, but it's a vaguely plausible explanation, I guess.

Yeah the Alex/Stephanie stuff is weird. Did Anjelica have more of a hands on role with custody or something? Listen, I am just happy that the show righted something about Orpheus/John/Roman that's been wrong for 30 years lol. So, I guess Orpheus just hates John and Marlena for funsies even though the really didn't do anything to him?🤣

Can I just say I am glad FINALLY Orpheus said Roman, not John, shot his wife? At least they got that right. That nonsense has been annoying me for years.

Agreed on all. There is a big difference between TC admittedly having a disease and an addiction problem that led to poor behavior than SBu just deciding not to follow rules and policies. Steve will undoubtedly be invited back with open arms. Tyler (it appears) is actively getting help to better himself while Steve just is.........waiting it out until he doesn't need a vaccine. I would have no problem with them hiring TC back although like you said his sobriety is more important.

The Marlena/Kayla/Orpheus ones were really bad. It's a really awful combination of no budget and them being performed by people in their 60's and 70's lol. I am not even sure the point of Orpheus kidnapping them again.

Heard the same about Orpheus, but this is a woman that let Stefano live in her house after she pushed him off the roof as Mardevil........because she felt guilty after everything ever! He ACTIVELY destroyed your life, but, whatever, JER go wild with this. Sometimes I wonder if JER actually really wanted to start a romance between Stefano/Marlena, but that's for another thread. I do like Kristen/Marlena scenes regardless as long as they are enemies or at least not friendly. I just was curious why Marlena left her office lol. Like, "Hey Kristen! Watch my office and files! BRB! Psychiatrist emergency.

RIP Nelson. I can't say I agreed with his takes all the time, but he was clearly passionate about soaps. Way too young....

Did I miss something? That just seems like asking for trouble due to everything Kristen has done ever for the last 30 years.

I actually thought Lexi was great as Kristina, but looked young. She still looks younger than Molly to this day lol. I think Kristina/Ethan could have been built into something down the line though. It was not to be. I don't think NuKristina was awful the overkill of her being sexy/mature was so obvious. Tbh, I don't recall the actor that played Trey's name, but he isn't any worse than half the people running around the show now as 'hunks'.

Yeah, I knew Connie wasn't specifically Ron's casting or decision. I can see how the mental illness story could be in the works beforehand, but I think everything was rushed once Sonny was single again and Guza was fired. I think maybe the bones of the story were vaguely there, but UGH... I would like to throw in Kristina's recast and reality show nonsense into the ring as well....

I assume Ksu could have been okay in a different role but the whole thing was just so awful. What was the point? Kate, Joe Scully, and the kid are all dead. Such a waste of airtime.

Not to insert myself and answer for @Vee. But Connie's DID? The whole recast and idea was supposed to be amazing. But KSu is still 15 years too young at least and it was awful. The acting, the misogyny, etc. etc.. I would say it's his biggest flop IMO.

I always thought it would eventually be righted and Robert would be his father in the end, but I wondered if there was a spin Guza or whoever had that made Luke the more exciting option to them. I..have some issues with Luke's alcoholism as well. The lead up wasn't very good nor was the intervention anything but emmy bait. I can see TG not liking it because I don't think it did actually make a whole lot of sense, but once you establish it-it's not something you can backtrack on. I guess I will never know why Tony had so much power on GH especially when most things he wanted were awful and character damaging. But at least we will never want Luke/Laura again.

Did Guza or anyone from the show besides Tony give a reason why they gave Luke a son with Holly. Aside from TG wanting Ethan to be his, is there a reason or thought behind it? If anything was a story that wrote itself it would be Ethan being Robert and Holly's lol.

I am pretty sure Luke's only source of income was the club in the 90's, but I also remember he would sell pieces of the ice princess off if he needed cash. I don't think he was really mob affiliated unless you count Sonny. Yeah, I could do without several peoples social media. It seems a lot of GH drama seems to happen on social media as well.

My point was NB was more age appropriate to TC's Stefan than Camila. TC is 49 to CB's 32.

I like MB. I used to love Sonny and Sonny/Brenda are my favorite soap couple of all time. But I also have seen what Sonny has become in the last 25 years and I wouldn't want to saddle another one of my all time fave characters like Lois with him. RS can work with MB all day. They have a history and were good friends. I just can't wrap my head around Lois wanting to be with Sonny at this point in time-or really any point in time. If it happens it happens, but I think it would be a horrible decision for the character. Idk, this is all just a hypothetical situation anyhow lol.

@VeeThat is a depressing thought. So it probably will happen. Outside of making Lois some sort of serial killer, I can't think of a worse fate for the character of Lois. On the plus side I always found Rena and Mo to be great screen partners back in the day. I have always thought of Olivia as a Brenda/Lois hybrid. I am sure RS could differentiate Lois from Olivia. Aren't Olivia/Lois supposed to be good friends? Maybe they could be snarky drinking buddies or something. Anyway, I guess we will cross that bridge if Rena actually decides to come back. Again, I can see her making a decent living doing TV movies in the future.

Why would a Sonny pairing sweeten the pot? That's a horrible move for the character of Lois and just not something Lois would do or be popular. I don't put anything past GH and I wouldn't be shocked if they went there, but ugh... Even if you take the Brenda of it all out of it (which GH these days pretends she doesn't exist-so easy), Lois witnessed Sonny's wife blow up with her own eyes. Why would she want to hook up with him? Rena should run the opposite direction if they suggest that to her 🤣

I have this weird feeling they might try to pair her with Sonny if Ned's off the table, which would make me die 1000 deaths lol. Does L&B still exist? I thought Lois was still running it off screen.

Unless I forgot something? Like you, I remember interactions, but it wasn't serious. I don't know if it was due to TC's personal issues, but it felt like something was going to happen but just didn't and then we were on to Gaby/Stefan. Which I think TC played some of, but now I can't even remember if that was all BB's Stefan lol. I might not be a reliable narrator here.🤣 But if it was that forgettable I assume it was unimportant.

I don't think they did anything but casually date. Maybe they kissed? It seemed like it was going somewhere, but then Gabby entered the pictured and it was dropped. Nighttime Hope was addicted to an Ambien like pill. I thought it was all silly. Although I do think most Hope-centric stories from 1999 onward were stupid. This might be unpopular, but I don't think KA stands on her own very well. She works much better in stories with Bo and her family.

You actually articulated what I was trying to say posts ago lol. I would love to see Lois again, but the character is so specific to Labine. It's hard to imagine Lois at 50 without it being a caricature. I would kill for a Brenda, Sonny, Lois scene though as well. I think RS's last scenes as Lois were with Brenda after the non-wedding (and not with Ned which is weird). I remember Ned being out of town when Rena/Lois briefly returned-which seemed so stupid. The show couldn't have timed that better? Anyway.. Lois's return with Leslie Kay was just odd. I can't imagine Lois ever going for a guy like Alcazar. I do understand a lot of the arguments that GH's cast is too bloated, but I would still like to see her. Lois is relevant. There are about 20 people to get rid of at least on GH, but I don't think that means there isn't room for a great character. JMO. I don't think we will see her on GH, but I would definitely watch if RS did come back.
