  1. Really good shows the last few days besides the Leo/Dmitri of it all. I think Ari is doing amazing, but baby switch stories really depress me. I hate watching characters play out their baby dying. It is just so sad.
  2. I mean Nick was homophobic, obsessive, and a criminal, so yeah? I also thought OG Nick was a lot more awkward and nerdy than Everett seems to be. Just wrote a similar thing lol
  3. At one point I think Kate owned it, so it may have had nothing to do with Titan, but I thought it was part of the Titan umbrella. They had that whole huge building with the Penthouse Grille unless they had a million magazines I imagine other stuff went on there. I don't really know. It's the type of story I can watch and forget 10 mins later lol.
  4. I think when it was first introduced it was Titan Publishing or that was the branch the story was focusing on with Kate, Lucas, Austin, Carrie etc. Did Billie's cosmetic company fall under Titan? It probably had other divisions the entire time we just never knew what they were. Days is just the actual worst with any sort of business story. I don't find them interesting to begin with but other shows at least take them a bit more seriously and do research and try to keep it mildly coherent.
  5. I just thought it was an intentional dichotomy yesterday when Anna/Sonny and Valentin/Nina were sharing scenes and seemed so comfortable together. It's probably nothing though. Unless it's Brenda, Sonny's romantic days should be over, but that's not the case most likely.
  6. A John/Marlena episode does always make me happy. They may be super corny, but they still make me smile. Is MM already gone? She couldn't be in this episode too? I thought EOB was unusually bad as Theresa today. She's never been good, but today was a big yikes! I guess the accent is a problem because her line delivery is so breathy and weird. I honestly don't even know what she's going for as Theresa. @AbcNbc247is right. She does seem drunk lol.
  7. That would have been a very large tree. I think there is a difference in putting, say, Austin or Shawn on it as opposed to Kristen/Theresa/Sloan etc. I can understand why they cut all the baby daddies and mommies out. I thought it was incredibly stupid as well. Everyone knows that's the worst thing to do. I thought I missed something too. We didn't hear what he said, but when Wendy said Li said Gabi I thought it cut out too early or I missed a scene. Guess not.
  8. The show isn't going for a Sonny/Anna romance are they? I don't mind their friendship, but they spend way too much time together for my liking.
  9. I think Li's murder will probably stick. I really don't see any reason to bring him back. He's barely connected to anyone on the canvas especially with the upcoming exits. I am interested in who killed him because he was so random and I don't even know who would care enough to kill him. I don't even believe Gabi cared enough to kill him lol
  10. I find most teens on soaps talk in a way that doesn't sound real or natural. Valentin also doesn't treat her like a 15 year old. More like an 8 year old. Given Charlotte's bizarre upbringing and lack of mother I can see how she was easily influenced. I just don't know why Valentin thought one session with Kevin would cure the fact that she's burning down houses and trashing hotel rooms. That's not your usual teen angst. I agree about her upbringing and life, but she was clearly let down by several adults in her life with this.
  11. True. Rolf and Megan are the only people that make sense. I haven't looked at spoilers so that's just speculation on my part. For all I know it could have been Trask somehow lol. VG did surprisingly well with the crying scenes. The anger/revenge stuff might be a bit out of her acting wheelhouse though.
  12. I totally understand Charlotte being screwed up considering everything, but that was astoundingly bad parenting. In fact, no parent would act like that IMO. I am side eyeing Laura here too, but not as much as Valentin. What an awful thing to do to Anna! And he has the nerve to be outraged at Anna when it predictably blew up in his face
  13. Agreed. Even if he didn't tell Anna I truly don't understand why he didn't just ask Charlotte why she was doing these things instead of tiptoeing around the issue.
  14. So I generally hate Valentin. I am probably not super objective, but his anger at Anna seems very intense considering it was an accident and he could have stopped this whole thing by dealing with his daughter properly. Or giving Anna a heads up. I know it's only been an episode and he's worried about his daughter. I just think Valentin is nearly as at fault as Anna.
  15. I thought Victoria Grace did well yesterday and okay today. It is nice to see her doing something. She does better with the tears than the anger. I think CB did really good today too. I just have no sympathy for Gabi. The EJ stuff is ridiculous, but it is soapy. Who did kill Li? Rolf? Megan? He barely even knows anyone in town.
  16. Weirdly, I think it's always been like that? I could be wrong, but I remember most critical patients had to be wheeled past the nurse's station so Amy and Bobbie could see who was injured.
  17. I don't remember Miguel being a Karen/Jagger spoiler, but he was an orderly at the hospital and moved into being a singing bartender so I guess that makes sense. Due to Karen/Jagger's popularity I would assume that would have been a failure, but most everything Miguel did on the show was a failure, so it checks out. I didn't like the Ned/Jenny/Paul/Tracy stuff personally because I felt Jenny was not worth fighting over and Tracy's character seem to be slightly humiliated by hanging on to Paul. Others may have different thoughts though.
  18. I mean @Soapsuds boy is the ultimate smirker. Chandler thought everything was humorous while in scenes lol. Yes! The Possession was played very seriously. It was silly, but JER believed in that story. Deidre and Drake believed in the story and while it's not my favorite it wasn't treated as a joke.
  19. The lack of John has been frustrating lately especially with the Brady/Rachel stuff. Eric gets married in John's home and he's not there lol. John just exists on the other side of a phone for Marlena. I know there are guarantees and all, but Kate and Marlena pop up every episode. Give Drake some love here. I am reserving my judgement on Blake Berris and Everett too because I have always enjoyed BB and really do think he got a raw deal as Nick. I just wish there was a way to make him Nick again or even Nick's long lost twin. Not this tongue and cheek-you look familiar stuff.
  20. See, it actually makes me feel like the show thinks we are dumb. That we aren't going to notice or care. That we will just go along with it because it's Days and it's campy. It feels like the showrunners don't respect their dwindling audience at all. Of course, it's not that serious and I doubt the show actually is trying to offend like I said earlier, but it is how it makes me feel. EOB as Theresa is more obnoxious to me than RSW as Alex. We have no previous blueprint for Alex, so RSW could create his own (annoying) character for the role. I know what Theresa is supposed to be like and EOB is just miscast in that role. I think if it was just one actor or one character I could let it slide. But when you add that in with insulting tone deaf storylines, characters that are heavily featured that no one likes, and awful pacing you end up with a mess of a show that isn't gaining new fans and alienating it's old ones.
  21. That's fair. I didn't see those comments. I don't think Sarah dresses like a doctor either, but she is.
  22. I think the conversation on here was that Talia didn't act like a Dr. And I would agree with that. She didn't. I don't think anyone on here specifically said she didn't "look" like a Dr.
  23. I honestly didn't find him to be that bad comparatively to the rest of the cast. I don't think he's going to win any Emmy's, but I think his material was just bad. Li had some charisma. It's like the Talia actress. She wasn't great but there was something to work with and I think it's the same Remington. I am not crying over the loss of Li Shin. I just think the character had more potential.
  24. I don't think Remington was good exactly. He smirked a lot. I just don't think he was given a lot to play until recently and I thought he did well with that material. I think he could have done more with the role if given half a chance. I just have mixed feelings on Li because he truly was a C character that got an expanded role because of whatever reasons. It just feels like if you are going to use the character use him properly. He was just a prop and obstacle for Stabi and a mustache twirling villain. His motives for his obsession and clingy-ness didn't take shape until way too late. Daytime is sorely lacking Asian characters in general and it does seem like a waste.
