This might sound weird, but I want Jada and Sloan to become friends. I know they are total enemies now, but neither girl has a friend. I guess Jada has Rafe and Talia, but that doesn't count lol.

I always find it strange how characters like Bonnie that have spent years creating elaborate schemes and lying have such a hard time lying about stuff after their 'reformed'. All she had to say is I didn't see Sarah or Sarah is fine and doing well. Bonnie is just creating a different elaborate lie to protect Sarah and it's idiotic. It would have been better if Chloe stumbled upon the news that Sarah was pregnant instead.

Lol! She's obviously had some good work and taken good care of herself, but I do think either 80's styling or just DH's natural looks made her read older in the 70's and 80's so by the 90's she just sort of looked the same age for a long time. Drake has aged like a silver fox, but has visibly aged. I swear Deidre Hall looked about the same from the late 90's until like 2012. She clearly looks older now, but for awhile there was very little difference in her appearance at all.

In all fairness I considered Marlena to be about 45 from 1993-2008 so it's not an actual dig lol.

It's fun to think about, but it would be horrible in execution. I would be more curious as to their health? Back in 1995 the cloning stuff was new lol. Are they as smart or evolved as Marlena? How did they establish themselves and make a living as a 45 year old new woman in the world with no education or life skills? Did Stefano give them money and/or a plan besides just to be seen in various parts of the world to throw off John/the police? If Ron insists on making this a cannon there are so many questions I have, but it's better suited for an intelligent person's fanfic and not Ron's writing.

I have no doubt Dee could play anything. I just have no idea why she'd want to lol.

I think it will be the opposite. He will marry Gwen, but be in love with Leo. 😂🤣 That ad and that movie will never get old. Dee would play 5 characters and we would see her for one episode then have to wait a month for the next episode because she has so few guarantees.

I don't doubt Ron thought about it. I would hope 75 year old Deidre would have turned him down before it got any further. Could you imagine her having to play 4 or 5 different characters?

Sorry. I read your post as asking if the clones have been mentioned lol. I think Rolf brought it up first even before the Possession telling someone about it. So maybe Rolf was just telling anyone who would listen. It's always used in a jokey way, but if everyone knows maybe John should have made sure Marlena's body was her body and all that if there were clones running around. I want to say Marlena was the one who said they found out Kristen was alive and maybe even mentioned it to Kristen in their initial conversation with one another. But that was the first us viewers ever heard about it as far as I know. Anyway, agreed it was a missed oppurtunity to not have the shock value of Kristen appearing alive out of nowhere. I also found it strange that most people in Salem were so aware of Kristen and her misdeeds despite her being dead for years.

It was discussed a few times during the Possession, Rolf has talked about it, and Megan mentioned she killed one of the clones for Marlena's body when she faked her death. I know Leo has talked about it as well so I would assume everyone knows. I don't believe I have ever heard Marlena or John speak about it though. With Kristen, didn't they have Marlena or John say that they found out she was alive off-screen years before? To me that's even worse than not mentioning it. A major revelation happened and we never saw or heard about it until Kristen is back and did Kristen even delve into to her years as a sex slave?

It should be Johnny's new movie! He needs something to do.

Ron seems obsessed with these Marlena clones. No other writer including JER even mentioned it again and Ron brings up that fact on a regular basis. I don't really need Ron to delve into what happened to the clones, but it is weird how casually everyone in town mentions Marlena has clones just hanging out somewhere in the world. I'd rather it be forgotten tbh, but at the same time I am slightly curious where they ended up and what their lives are like.

Unless we find out one of Marlena's clones had a soap career and that the Kayla lookalike is the woman Megan used in place of Kayla's body, it was pointless. No one in town has ever noticed these tv characters look exactly like Marlena/Kayla? Deidre wasn't even wearing a wig lol.

I have seen some of Deidre's 80's looks and she might have.😂

I am actually offended on Deidre and Mary Beth's behalf. They used one of their minimal guarantees for that? Also, it cut in with Abe's election from 2008. No woman dressed like that in 2008 lol

But it's also not their cross to bear? Everyone should be allowed to speak out about their own experiences in the way they are comfortable with. And to shame people that aren't ready to talk or don't want to is uncomfortable to me. I do understand SJB's point, but at the same time I don't think it's cool to specifically name people for not wanting to come forward. I really dislike both NLG and VM's social media, but I also don't think it's their obligation to back her. I think it's just a cycle of women shaming women and from personal experience some women just don't want to freely talk about it in such a public platform. It's basically just opening up crazy Carly fans to go after Crazy Brenda and Alexis fans and there is a lot a fuel there just in storylines and seems like a mess to even open up at this point and all the actresses don't deserve that.

I hope she does. She's extremely talented. At this point, though, I do think calling out other women not supporting her or being involved does take away from the crux of the issue. The light should be shined on the abusers. Again, I absolutely believe everything she is saying, but I wish she would share it in a way that doesn't open herself to more criticism.

Again, I would love for Sarah to write a book. I think all these bits and pieces coming out do confuse timelines and such and I would love to hear it all in one place at one time. I know especially with trauma it tends to come out in various ways but I would absolutely buy a book from her that told her story from start to finish. She really should have made it big and...didn't and I do think it's important thing to talk about even if I don't necessarily agree with all the ways she's going about it.

Yeah, it is unfortunate those women couldn't or didn't support her and it's sad SJB feels hurt and betrayed. I think there is a larger conversation overall in the fact that women are calling out other woman for not being supportive enough though. That doesn't feel supportive either when many other more powerful people including the female EP and her male lead said nothing. Anyway, I feel for SJB and hope she finds peace and do wish her well. I would love for her to come back as Carly always. I hope there is eventually change at GH and more people do speak out.

Thank you! Interesting. I am still sort of confused if Guza just wanted to make them incestuous truly (which I doubt) or just make them creepy. I also don't know what that has to do with a different writer making Claudia Johnny's mother. I do think those are two separate issues, but I understand her frustration and being upset she wasn't heard. I agree. I am not sure what she wanted NLG and Jackie to do especially while they were still employed on the show. As far as Vanessa, unless they were super close friends (which they never appeared to be), I don't know what she would do either aside from publicly supporting her on social media, but I am not sure why these women should and Maurice or Steve or anyone else don't have to. I genuinely believe her trauma and issues are real, but I truly haven't seen any of her former co-stars speak out and support her claims. Again that doesn't mean they aren't valid or real I am just confused why those three women specifically bother her.

I literally only know the basics of twitter but it looks like SJB was speaking on a twitter space podcast like thingy and spoke about Guza and called out Vanessa and NLG. For the life of me I can't listen to it or find a replay even in SJB's links to it, but I am very curious to hear it now. It's possible she elaborated a little more on the Guza/Claudia stuff there. If anyone on here happened to hear it I would love to know what she said.

I wasn't surprised it happened either, but I still don't think it was an intentional slight to SJB. Yes, she is close in age to Barash-so are LLC and DZ. Does it speak to some sort of overall sexism/ageism in Hollywood? Absolutely, but I do think there are much worse aspects in Claudia's characterization. I think on twitter especially it's sometimes difficult to follow SJB's narrative. She jumps to several different points that on the outside don't always seem calculated or abusive. I wish she would write a book or something because I think numerous things do add up to very toxic and unfortunate environment for her at GH. I am not trying to minimize or discount her feelings or truths in the matter, I just wish I could read about it in a more coherent fashion. I am probably just showing my age here though lol.

In a slight defense of Guza I don't think he ever planned to have Claudia be Johnny's mom. I don't think the incestuous stuff with Johnny was a specific slight to SJB or Claudia. IIRC Anthony seemed to be weirdly attached to Claudia as well. I think it was Guza's creepy, misguided way of making the family seem gothic and very toxic. I think Guza wrote Claudia in very misogynistic ways, but I don't necessarily think the Johnny/Claudia relationship was part of that. I agree with SJB that the decision to make Johnny Claudia's son was weird and pointless, but the Zacchara family dynamic and the unhinged mess of all of it did make that family a bit different from the usual mob foil for Sonny.

Yeah, your time frame sounds completely accurate. I was more curious about what GH execs knew when they recast Molly. As in were they just alerted by HP's people that HP was in an accident or did they know the seriousness of the accident and her arrest? I am just wondering if they cast Kriegel with the intention of it being only a few days on short notice or if they knew it was going to be a longer stint. The way HP described the issue on her social media truly makes me wonder if she thought this all would fly under the radar and the press wouldn't find out. Obviously it did and that is the case now, but I do wonder if HMK was cast as good enough in a pinch or truly the best they could find (even on short notice). Due to how similar she looks to HP I would think the former not the latter.
