If Molly was Alexis's only kid I don't think I would have any issue at all. I do think this actress reads older than TJ, but people are correct that HP looked quite young too. It's just a miss because she's Alexis youngest and should be significantly younger than Sam. I am not familiar with his work, but I do know he is a 'get' for soaps. My question is-is his diction and way JK speaks always like that? The way he delivers his lines is so odd. It's almost Shakespearean the way he talks and I wonder if that's an acting thing for him.

I liked Talia and Johnny too. I just wish Days could pull it together with their youth set. Chanel/Tripp/Talia/Johnny/Wendy could be so messy, but they all need to interact lol

Her name was Lizzy Savetsky. She's an influencer. The official story is she got a lot of antisemitic comments after her casting was announced a walked away from the show for her family. But I believe some tabloids reported there was a pretty heated racist conversation with Brynn and the N-word was thrown around by either her or her husband and it was a mutual parting of ways with Bravo.

@SoapsudsI agree with @AbcNbc247. Today's episode was pretty good. I actually retract my previous criticism about Li and Trask. I found their scenes pretty enjoyable. I have always thought both Li and Melinda were very undeveloped so it's nice they got to do something different. I really can't stand Rafe, but it is nice when Johnny talks to people he knew as a child. I did lol at Rafe's reaction to Nicole being pregnant. I really liked the Sloan/Eric/EJ/Nicole stuff, but even Nicole's pj's are ugly. I don't know why AZ dresses so poorly and with those very bad hair extensions.

I literally stared at the picture for 5 minutes trying to figure out if that was Stephanie. She looks so different with blonde hair. She is also much older than I thought. She should play recast Molly on GH.

Yeah, you are probably right. I just was trying to find some logic in the casting besides we picked the first female we found off the street. Since all the talk has been about the Molly actress being able to treat us all to the early bird special at Denny's, has anyone mentioned Sasha STABBING Cody? Where is this story going? What are these drugs Sasha is taking? They have been teasing this pairing for months and it's all moved so slowly. I didn't see Sasha nearly killing him as the next step. That's the most entertaining thing Sasha has ever done.

Part of me wonders if this was a purposeful miscast to bring Haley back without backlash. If the show hires someone so wrong for Molly maybe people will be less critical of bringing the original back after her off screen antics.

Agreed @Vee. It's not this actress's fault, but two things can be true at the same time without it being a horrible thing. She's probably wonderful and doesn't deserve this. That doesn't make her right for a role. She doesn't look the part of a mid 20's girl. That's the end of it. It's on GH for making such a bizarre choice. Whoever said that the girl that plays Elyse is good is right. I like her and she's gorgeous.

I have a hard time comprehending how anyone could think casting a 39 year old women is the right choice for Molly. It's just not. GH could control the casting. It's not the women's fault but this is such a poor casting decision it deserves the internet shame.

That's fine and good but I think it all depends on how permanent this actress is. She doesn't look youthful. She looks like she's 35. Again, it's not a slam on the actress because she is 39, but she looks years older than Kate Mansi and I don't think Kate Mansi looks that young. It's just a really weird casting choice.

I don't think anyone is wishing anything bad for Molly #3. She's too old for the part. She's my age. Lovely girl and not an old lady, but not a women who should be playing a woman in her 20's lol. It's bad casting-that's it.

I find Molly to be histrionic and screechy already so that's not helping. Is Molly older than Jordan now? I don't even dislike Pullos (real life mistakes aside). I think she was better than the material she got, but I don't think the Molly character is super hard to play. The show isn't recasting Laura or Anna-just a B character honestly. I don't know why it would be hard to find a decent recast.

I find it hilarious the casting or recasting of Molly has been so difficult. And I get GH was in a bind, but they found Haley when she was like 8. Molly isn't exactly a dynamic role with that much depth. I just don't know how GH fumbled the recast twice when half the out of work actresses in Hollywood under 30 could play the role lol.

I actually don't think it's AK's fault. She seems capable and is a decent recast in theory. She's just written so blandly. I swear the show was trolling us the other week when Stephanie was going through different colors of beige paints. She is just so beige. And AK does give popular girl/cheerleader vibes, but I don't think that's bad for Stephanie. She's very similar to Hennig, but very far away from Shayna Rose (I hope I am getting her name right) and her different take on the character.

I like Trask too and think she needs more to do. The whole Li/Trask thing feels racist. Maybe I am just being sensitive, but let's just pair the two non-related Asian characters together because they must have tons in common. Seems lazy. I had high hopes for Stephanie and liked the recast initially, but she is boring now. She is the blandest heroine on the show.

I obviously watched the episode so I know what happened lol. I saw all this, but Sonny hanging around the hospital to hold Nina's purse or whatever is not a reason to be there. I don't think he needed to be there, but I hate Nina and hate Sonny/Nina. Sonny has been consistently hanging around town following Nina around for 2 years. If I am going to have to watch Mo 5 days a week I want him to do something. I don't buy Sonny/Nina's great big love and I think she's just a run of the mill Sonny love interest. Which is fine, but I am about to buy Sonny a one way ticket to Rome so I can see him with an actual love interest he has chemistry with.

I appreciate GH having the beats of Curtis's family holding vigil for him unlike Days where everything happens off screen like Abe's funeral lol, but they are so boring. I honestly didn't care or feel for any of them. I mean, Gladys was buying a fur coat in July that needed to be delivered immediately, so maybe it's cold in PC? The TJ/Molly/Kristina stuff is just weird. Kristina is so insistent on being their surrogate without even talking to them and TJ/Molly are so over the top angry about it. Nothing has happened and everyone is so upset and offended. We all know how this is going to end, but TJ/Molly are acting like they are so hurt when they have all the control in the situation and could just tell Kristina to take a hike. Kristina is a bit of a narcissist and has horrible timing, but she's not out to harm anyone. FauxMolly is acting like this is a horrible personal attack and I don't think it is. All Molly has to say is I am not ready to make any decisions now but thanks for the offer instead of pulling the histrionics she was yesterday.

I am watching yesterday's episode and I have a few thoughts- Sonny is again just hanging around the hospital for no reason. Does he even know Curtis well? He might, but I clearly have never paid attention. He's really into finding the shooter by..........standing around the hospital being useless? I think it's very weird that Kristina and Alexis are talking about Molly's surrogacy so seriously when Molly isn't onboard at all. I appreciate Alexis is clearly laying out the cons, but they are really getting ahead of themselves here. And, oh Maxie, that outfit.......the grandma purse really pulled the look together. My hatred of Gladys and every scene she is in is well known, but I did have to chuckle that she had Michael in her phone as "Sonny's Kid" and she had no idea who Scout was either because, obviously, same with me. Sasha going off the rails is the best kind of Sasha. It's truly faint praise from me, but it is amusing at least. I can genuinely say I DID NOT need Curtis's near death 'dream' with his mother in my life.

I think it would be easier to de-age Billie now especially with Bo/Hope off the canvas for the time being. Rinna and Muldoon always seemed a little old to be Kate's (especially LK's Kate) kids. Plus, I do think Billie was supposed to be a lot younger than Bo. She was Austin's younger sister when introduced. And I honestly didn't mean to derail this thread by talking about GT lol. I honestly don't have strong feelings about her either way, more indifference. I know she's good and well liked, but I don't think clips are going to change my mind. Thanks for those though! I will take a look.

Yeah, I could see GT as Billie. I don't think she's bad or anything I just don't understand why she's at the top of people's casting lists for so many roles on soaps. I would never think she would be a good fit for Sami, for example, as people suggested. Anyway, today was an awful show lol. The Abe in Body and Soul was just a waste of airtime. I can't believe Marlena and Belle are just cool with Kristen getting what she wants through kidnapping lol.

I just hope they cast Sydney soon-gay or straight. She's always getting into off screen messes Sami has to jet off to deal with. I need to meet her. Tbh, I don't find GT as great as everyone else. I think she could be good as Billie or something, but I must be missing her charm. I haven't ever gotten her full appeal.

I am not sure Andre is the right person to lead the Dimera family, but at least a solid attempt was made to place him as the next big bad. His story and his backstory with Tony got very confusing and convoluted quickly. Andre also never had the laser focus goal of destroying John/Roman/the Bradys and specific love interest (Marlena) to make his scheming clear. He seemed to just want to destroy people for fun. There should have been a direct heir to Stefano and the Dimera empire long ago. Andre always came off too crazy and unhinged and while Stefano was a madman he generally came off scary yet calm. I think a villianous Tony or Peter would have both been great choices to lead the next generation, but neither had kids. That leaves EJ as my third choice and if they dropped the great love with Sami and made EJ more evil and his relationship with Sami more obsessive it would give EJ a reason to continue to go after the Brady's and Lucas/Sami. I personally would have introduced an EJ/Belle obsession years ago and have EJ go against Shawn. He fits the John/Roman hero type better than Lucas does and the rivalry could have come full circle with the next Dimera after Marlena/John's daughter and the next generation of Bradys. Now it's just a free for all of Stefano's kids appearing out of the woodwork fighting for control of DE and brainwashing people. Everyone is out for themselves and their agendas in that family and Stefano was always the cohesion that brought all his children's schemes together before.

I am confused. I thought the Dr. gave Sasha benzo's or xanax. I swear that's what the label said. Why is she acting so high and crazy? She's acting like she's on Adderall and I don't think a former cocaine addict would be stupid enough to take that lol. I am no Dr., but I have taken xanax and valium before and it made me very chill..... I really think Finola should cut her hair a bit. It's looking long and kind of stringy. She's lovely, but I think she should cut it about 6 inches

At the end of the day a lot of EJ's popularity was because of JS's smoking hot good looks and charm. Not that DF isn't both those things, but I agree, EJ was always ill-defined. I don't think DF is doing a poor job with what he's given, but he's not slick or sinister in the way JS's EJ was. I know a lot of EJ's previous motivations had to do with Sami, Sami vs. Nicole, and his relationship with Stefano, so it makes sense the character is floundering a bit. The thing is, I don't see JS's EJ ever waiting patiently for Nicole to "love" him or playing silly cat and mouse games with Gabi/Stefan or basically ignoring his only son. They seem to play DF's EJ almost like he's a little dim. I could never imagine JS's EJ falling for some of the things DF's EJ has. A lot of the Dimera stuff falls flat because Stefano isn't around. Of course that can't be helped, but Stefano was always the glue that helped keep the Dimera family together through all the random children and silly plots.
