Haha! He just came to my mind. I still am not sold on a need for Drew at all. It's just way too much. Not only does he buy all the holiday decorations for the hospital, but didn't he fund two separate wings of that hospital (Stone's and one for Mike)? Give me a break! Yikes...that was a bad show. Not only Drew being a rage monkey to Nina, but also Nik casually suggesting how to destroy Esme. She's like, what, 20? Ava and Nik really need something better to do. Also, on not such a serious note, why the hell is nearly 30 year old Dex just allowed to hang out in Joss/Trina's room? I know it's holiday break, but he's there all the time.

This is a case of two items that shouldn't be worn together. They honestly look okay in the model photos, but the coat looks matted and cheap on tv. The dress looks cheap too. I think you can do one or the other. And the coat is always going to look like muppets had to die to make it possible but black might have looked better?

Honestly, no matter how many candles he lights he is so far past making it to Heaven. I think someone recently said Sonny was a good man who made some bad decisions (Olivia?). No, Sonny is a bad man who once every ten years stumbles upon a good decision.🤣

Yeah, not sold on Jeff Branson either. He would probably do okay though. Agreed. I thought Sonny paying for all the decorations at the hospital for Christmas was unintentionally hilarious as well. I just forgot to post about it. The show doesn't need to lay it on that thick. We get it. Mobster. Heart of Gold.

TSJ probably only crossed my mind because I was thinking of former OLTLers that Frank hasn't used yet and he'd be mildly appropriate for the role. Someone like Josh Duhamel would be good, IMO. But I doubt he is that far down on his luck yet.

Thanks! I couldn't remember everyone that called Steve that, but it felt more demeaning than a happy nickname for him even back then. I have no problem with Steve being called Patch if he loves that nickname. I just never got the impression he did.

True. I don't know if that is still the cannon with Steve, but I remember early Patch/Kayla it seemed he was embarrassed about the nickname. And honestly, mostly Bo used it. I don't actually think that many people did on the show. I think it became more of a nickname for fans. People weren't just running around town calling a grown man Patch.

I do find Drew pretty pointless as well. That doesn't mean a recast and character reboot wouldn't help. I like Jason slightly more than most on this board, but I don't need him back either. I just think you definitely don't need both Jason/Drew.

Yeah, you are right. I don't even think Drew is that similar to Jason. I just know the show completely ignored BM's Drew the minute SBu came back. If anything, I find this Drew to be closer to Jax. He doesn't have the Sonny hate, but CM's Drew has become just a nice, attractive business man. Honestly, if you put aside the Australian thing, CM actually probably would have been better as a Jax recast.

I think you could recast. I don't have enough interest in Drew to do that though. I think it also depends if you bring Jason back. Drew becomes pretty redundant when you have Jason around.

From my understanding, Steve doesn't really like the Patch nickname. I know Kayla went out of her way to call him Steve instead.

I think maybe bringing back Ryan Carnes as Lucas to deliver the news would have worked better as well. Basically, pretty much anyone other than Drew lol.

You didn't miss much. Vivian buried Maggie and then Brady got involved and buried Vivian. I think it was in Isabella's grave (her remains were removed). Someone probably can explain it better, but it was tacky.

There was a Buried Alive Redux story with Brady and Vivian and Maggie I think. It happened. I just didn't like and don't remember it that well. The show never didn't anything else with that underground kingdom Stefano had in Paris. I am not sure what else you would do with that though lol.

Drew just really felt like the wrong person to be there. He had no relationship with Bobbie. Perhaps Michael or Josslyn would have been better. I don't like either one of them, but at least they had a relationship with her.
