I'll be honest, I am not terribly concerned about Sonny or Ava's personal safety so I am not surprised the show isn't. They'll be fine. They always are.

It's not even like Days NEEDS to do anything much with John. Drake has so few guarantees that he can just hang back and support his family, have some cute scenes with Marlena, be a good dad/grandad, and continue like that. I wonder if it has more to do with Steve needing a story.

I think it has more to do with her being Olivia's sister who was just killed than anything to do with Sonny. Yup! It's not that meta or serious. We all were just laughing at a photo that looked like it was set up and shot by a 10 year old child. I suspect Violet may have something to do with it!😂

It's working a lot better than I thought it would. I clearly have issues with EOB's Theresa, don't care much about Brady, and didn't have high hopes for Tate. But here I am enjoying the story and the beats played. I really liked John with Tate today as well. The Steve/Konstatin/John stuff is a real chore though. Why won't Steve just tell John about what happened? It's been 40 years!!! And why should I care about rando Konstantin's daughter that I have never heard of and died before we ever met her? Sure, it sucks she died, but Konstantin has been planning this silly scheme for decades? Get out lol!

When a silly cast photo is getting more response than the actual show, the show might be the problem lol.

Yes! I think it's just a screenshot from the primetime episode, so some people are still in motion, but it's very strange. There are so many people lingering on the left side of the frame. And why are Dante and Anna so chummy? lol

I have seen Cari Shayne in other stuff and she's been okay. I just thought Karen was the biggest poor me victim in the world and it was annoying. I know she was abused, but for so long I wondered why she just let people walk all over her. I liked the PC Karen's too. But they both seem to have more of a backbone than GH's Karen.

I was never a big CS/Karen fan, but I have an obvious bias lol. Karen was so wimpy and literally just let things happen to her. Brenda wasn't even stealthy or that smart about her sabotage and just got away with it because Karen was such a lame noodle. I always did like ASJ's Jagger.

I don't know if it would be that out of character for EJ to, say, team up with Sloan to keep Eric/Nicole apart due to jealousy. This kind, gentler EJ feels more out of character than a villain one.

I think it's easy to forget how popular ASJ was for a minute and his (horrible) role on Melrose Place during the peak of it's run. I tend to agree I doubt the show is very committed to this Jagger and it probably all was done before GH got Steve Burton back.

I definitely think that was it. If AZ was fired or left both Holly/Tate had reasonable endings until the show could figure it out. I think there is a very real possibility Nicole/Eric have a HEA and raise Jude off screen, but I have no idea GV's status with the show.

ASJ was the weakest actor of the bunch, but I would say he was fairly charismatic and had good chemistry with his co stars. Karen/Jagger were an extremely popular pairing in their day. And, let's be honest, no one really cared about his acting because of how hot ASJ was. The way Karen/Jagger ended and the fact that ASJ is who he is now probably colors a lot of people's memories of the character. I am not saying AH is ugly or a bad actor. I just think when you go so far off in casting and bring back a character in name only it's a baffling choice. How long can Sonny/Jagger talk about Karen and Stone? Both have been dead for decades and 90% of the cast currently didn't know either of them. I eye roll at the fact they are going to pair him with Carly. It's not even a creative choice to give Carly a Brenda cast off these days. Someone like Nina or Ava would be more interesting.

I think maybe they just wanted to pause the story until all the actors were back? I thought it was a strange choice as well. Idk, Days does have the weirdest pacing though. You have to imagine it was a pretty tense situation especially with what we know from AZ now. I have to wonder if AZ was thinking about not coming back at all.

I find myself really warming to EOB's Theresa lately, which is crazy because I was one of her biggest detractors. I actually think she and EM have pretty good chemistry too! I don't even know who I am anymore lol.

Do you ever think Sonny would become sleazy again? I do like the show at least acknowledges it happened, but I could never imagine current GH going there again with Sonny. I guess at the very least we are saving Serena from the inevitable pairing with Michael, so there's that.

I understand silly hate, but on this soap board we clearly care about our shows and can critique when necessary. I want to love GH again, but I am not there. A new regime is coming so I will be optimistic, but I won't say this Jagger recast was a solid idea ever.

Are we comparing Steven Lars Webber to Jagger Cates? Lol It's very clear I care about GH. Hell, I even like Jagger a ton, but not this version. If everyone that criticized the show just turned off their tvs GH would be in a lot of trouble.

Just breaking down Jagger's situation- People he was close to- Off Canvas Brenda Robin His son His dumb sister Dead Karen Stone Ruby AJ People that got conked in the head and don't remember him Jason People that disliked him a lot 30 years ago Sonny Possibly Scott, but K&J left the show before he found out she was his daughter People that might sort of know him Lucy Laura Lois Kevin Tracy Mac Felicia Anna This man has no ties to the show outside of Sonny at this point and it's such a waste of time and money.

I just feel like Tripp is Patch's long lost son on Days and isn't setting the world on fire. He's cute and lovely, but he's not exactly special. I know it's a lot of the writing for him on Days though. He'd probably be fine as Michael. I think he's a little young, but the bar CD is setting is so low I think LA would be an okay recast. But it's definitely not anything the show needs. I was just trying to vaguely come up with a character he could play that would be mildly relevant. I think you can tell ELR has had work done lol, but she still looks good.

I think he'd make a good recast Dex if we had to recast Dex. But I'd take a Lucky, a Lulu, etc long before I'd consider anything about Dex. I am trying to think of a legacy character he could play, but he seems too old and blonde to be Brenda's kid so I am just drawing a blank. I suppose he could be a recast Morgan, but I don't want to go down that road. Maybe a recast Stone Jr? But he still feels a bit old for that. He's fine on days lol doing boring stuff with Wendy.

The actor that plays Tripp is pretty good and I do like him, but isn't he basically the same person as Michael and Dex?
