That's fair. I just think if weight is playing such a huge part of your daily existence it doesn't seem healthy. Not to get too deep into my life, but it's almost always going to be a more mental issue than a physical one on this from my experience. But I am not KS and it's not my place to judge or Dr. Marlena Evans her from my couch. Moving on, are Sonny/Ava going to hook up? Because I am against this.

Agreed. I just have been pretty vocal about my concerns with KS in the past, so I feel the need to at least give an opinion. I don't care if KS takes Ozempic or just decides to switch meds, work out, do yoga, run marathons, whatever. I just take offense at the fact everything is sunshine and roses because KS is taking weight loss pills now. It's a disservice to a woman I grew up watching and hope she does get the help she may need. Maxie and her 100 children could disappear for years and I wouldn't shed a tear, but there is a real person behind the character that has shared her struggles and the whole thing feels weird.

I don't think there is any ill intent here with talking about Kirsten Storms and her weight loss. I just think we are missing a larger problem. If KS is thin and taking Ozempic everything is good right? You don't physically see a problem on screen, but in general it's just a band aid on bigger issues.

Okay. But at what point do you just see this woman is struggling and might need a break? I am not in KS's head and don't know her at all, but I doubt her weight gain is about her inability to stop eating. It's a mental health issue and glorifying her taking weight loss pills to get thin isn't solving anything. I'll get off my soapbox now.

It's a very slippery slope on the KS stuff. If she loses a bunch of weight now it's going to be out there that she is taking weight loss drugs instead of getting actually healthy. The mental health issues tied to her weight (from rumors so..) are much more serious than her actual weight. No one really cares Maxie isn't rail thin. If the poor girl can't figure out what to wear and is having panic attacks that's a real problem. I just feel like people at GH should care a little bit more about Kirsten Storms than having a thin Maxie, who is useless anyway.

Sure, she can take whatever she wants, but if her day hinges on how much she weighs or how good she looks it's a much more serious issue than just gaining a few pounds. And it should be addressed as such by GH, by her family, by her friends, whoever.

I don't really see how KS taking weight loss drugs is a good thing? If she has to be medicated and is having panic attacks about her weight that's just really unhealthy. Ozempic isn't a cure for her issues.

Poor TJ. Molly/TJ were finally going to get a story and Haley Pullos had to mess it all up. As far as DT, I agree there were missed opportunities in the past for his character and chemistry was ignored to pair him with a Black actress. I don't think he's underutilized now. In fact, he's over utilized IMO. I honestly don't think DT and BK have much chemistry though, but there are many white couples on the show that have no chemistry too. I hope the new regime will take that into account.

Your point is fair, but like @Vee, I think it's disrespectful to Brook Kerr. She's giving it. If he was paired with Jordan I could understand. I actually think DT gets a decent amount of airtime though. Do you think if he was paired with Nina he'd get more? I don't really think so.

I can't really get into JPS with anyone either. I hate Valentin. I still thought Nina was his most viable pairing to date though.

Yeah lol. And that's part of the reason I liked Jax/Nina because it was finally a non-Sonny cast off for Jax, but here we are. I have this image that MS is some sort of tall amazon, but she is the same height as CW lol. Now I actually want to see an MS/MB scene just for laughs.

Obviously Melrose was always very white centered, but I also think Rhonda was a victim of circumstance. Her closest ties were Sandy and Matt and Sandy was dumped pretty early. There is an obvious undertone of racism, but when MP start scrambling for ratings Rhonda was mostly forgotten. She never really established relationships with the new cast additions. I think in the end both Matt and Rhonda were on the chopping block and the show decided to keep the gay character because it was more edgy at the time.

Lol. I thought the exact opposite. I though MS was better with Ingo and CW was better with JPS. Neither pairing was setting the world on fire though. Both do/did have chemistry with Donell.

I'll be honest, I actually did think Nina cut the baby out of Ava lol. I must have heard it online somewhere. Regardless, it was a stupid backstory and I like to pretend MS's Nina was an entire different character.

I think Rhonda was just too grounded and normal to exist beyond season 1. It's a shame they didn't do more with the character and VW, but I thought Rhonda was pretty dull. I don't see her fitting in with the bed hopping and backstabbing that started in season 2. Plus as @j swift said she didn't fit into any workplace drama and how much drama can be squeezed from being a jazzercise instructor lol?

I am fine with them reuniting off screen lol. I don't understand why Hayden doesn't want her own child. I mean, I understand because the child is the most annoying child on the planet, but most mothers like their own kids.
