  1. I think it probably could have worked with TB's Carly back in the day too. To me, it just feels like the Carly/Jason romance ship has sailed. They have had multiple partners, children, lives, and never seemed much more than friendship since the SJB days. Until the last few years I never even thought it a viable pairing that writers would consider. I could *maybe* believe Carly was in love with Jason this entire time, but I don't believe Jason was ever in love with her. And LW and SBu really have no romantic chemistry. The show does seem to be distancing Sam and Liz from their Jason days, but I see it more a sign of growth for the characters. I do feel bad for their fans though lol. I struggle to see where I would put Jason romantically at this point, but I also think Jason as a character makes sense being alone for periods of time. The Britt pairing came out of left field and worked well, so I am sure the show can figure something out.
  2. But how would Wagger even know Jason is trustworthy if he's a completely different person? He doesn't know THIS Jason. My assumption was similar in that Jagger's previous relationship was part of the reason Jagger/Jason went along with this whole plot. As in Jason would trust Jagger a bit more because he's Stone's brother, knew his family, knew Karen/Brenda/Robin, went to high school with him etc. I could understand Jagger leaving the Sonny of it all out of it, but not their entire past.
  3. Even if Jason never met Jagger after his brain injury I find it unbelievable he never at least saw a picture of him. I also find it crazy that Jagger didn't disclose this info to Jason even though he would eventually find out and the FBI would let Jagger be his handler considering that he and Jason had a previous past. Anyhow, it's really only a small piece of the overall plot. I just find it to be a weird writing choice.
  4. I am not going to go back and look but I am almost positive. I find the whole thing preposterous in general because let's just leave Jason in PC where a bunch of people could be innocent targets including his children. It just makes no sense. That being said, I am still interested in how it plays out so Idk what that says about me.
  5. Donna in her little chef outfit was so adorable! I even was able to tolerate Joss in that scene lol Jason may have gotten a knock in the head and some brain damage. I don't believe he's an idiot though. I am 99% sure he met Jagger in Night Shift too and knows Jagger Cates real name. Let's say Jason didn't meet him at all. Wouldn't the last name Cates and the Pikeman codename Stone at least ring some bells for him? The fact Jagger knew him in high school and they dated the same woman makes it absolutely ridiculous that Jagger would be his handler. But whatever... I feel like I have been watching Curtis angst over being paralyzed for approximately 10 years. It doesn't feel fast to me at all. End this now.
  6. I don't think that actually matters. Everett could have been adopted, a secret twin, Nick's brother from Jessica's DID days she doesn't remember, etc.
  7. Lol! Little Donna knows all about Jason even though he's been presumed dead since she was a baby. Did Carly tell her bedtime stories about him? I secretly hope so. So, Jason just entered this entire arrangement not knowing who Jagger was? No one has ever mentioned him before (people definitely have)? Didn't they meet again on Night Shift 2? Also, of course Jason's protecting Carly 🙄 Nina/Drew do really have chemistry. It's weird, but I kind of like it. Willow also seems to be feeling out the vibe with Drew's love life. Mother/Daughter Triangle? Lol. This Curtis story really is boring. Can we just get on with it? It's not like a single person in the viewing audience thinks he's going to be paralyzed forever so let's just wrap it up.
  8. I like Julie's relationship with both of them, but I still find it strange Stephanie doesn't go to events like Jude's christening and seems so removed from the Brady side of her family. Chad walks a very good line of interacting with both his Horton side of the family and his Dimera side.
  9. I don't claim to be an expert on this and don't check everyday, but usually when I do Days is in the top 10. On the lower end, but still there. I have no idea what Peacock wants Days to hit as far as numbers, but it seems to be in the mix of top ten shows.
  10. Days is #9 for me today. Nothing much happened today. I don't really get why Stephanie is positioned as someone so close to the Hortons when she practically has no relationship with the Brady side of the family. I still think Everett is somehow going to be tied to Nick.
  11. I think Natalia is her manager? I know we saw the creepy manager Blaze used to have, but the way Natalia was speaking made me think she had an actual role in her business. Even when she found Kristina/Blaze together on her first day, Natalia was rattling off all Blaze's schedule to her.
  12. Yeah, it would be nice to know they made up even though Sami wasn't a very good friend to Jamie. Jamie was probably never necessary as a character, but it would be good to hear what she's up to these days lol.
  13. Since Sami's basically always off screen I am kind of surprised some writer didn't name drop Jamie since Days loves to bring up obscure characters from the past as a wink wink to the audience.
  14. Looking at the recaps the doll story wrapped up and the next episode Felicia appears in starts the two Macs story lol.
  15. I vaguely remember it too, but for some reason I thought the doll's eyes glowed or something more supernatural or sinister. I might be conflating with something that happened on Days during that peak JER era in 1997 though. I found pretty much the exact dates, so I might take a look a see what I can find, but that period of GH is really hard for me to get through because of the Brenda/Sonny story. Maybe if there are Mac/Felicia edits only lol.
  16. I just don't think we need to pair Trina with someone who is obviously way too old for her like Tommy Jr. The show could have have her connect with Cameron, Dex, recast Spencer, or just hire someone to play her love interest. At this point I would take Morgan if I could get rid of Michael and his entire family. But I think it's still way more important to cut people rather than bring more people on at this point especially with Jason back.
  17. I don't think I would have ever thought to articulate it that way, but it's probably the most perfect description of his acting ever 😂 I don't really need Morgan back, I was just always 100% sure Avery was his and he would be back sooner rather than later. I can't believe he's still 'dead' tbh. Michael needs a break. Willow, Wiley, Amelia can all go to the ELQ Paris offices for a long stay and he can come back in a year or two as a new actor.
  18. TJ was introduced in Jan 2012, so you appear to be correct about that. I don't think he got any story really til RC took over though. Maybe that's why I have a soft spot for Aiden. He gave me a laugh during the Danny/Jake fistfight lol
  19. I do get Michael being the center child of GH for so long makes him important, but CD makes it impossible to even care much about him. The mismanagement of Morgan was strange. I am sure Morgan will be back some day. BC was good, but not unrecastable. I always assumed one day he would pop up again alive and be Avery's actual father. Rocco is definitely a step above the other two, IMO. Aiden is the weakest, but he has been given the least amount of things to play. All we know is he bakes and likes Tobias.
  20. DZ has always been a good, charismatic actor. The show just either used him waaaay too much circa 2010 or hardly at all-these last several years. Dante is a much more likeable and viable character than Michael played by an actor that didn't check out 8 years ago, so I don't know why Chad Duell gets the airtime.
  21. I agree with a lot of what you are saying @titan1978. I am one of Sam/Kemo's biggest detractors, but I thought she was very good this week. I always thought Dante/Sam were an okay couple, although mostly boring and doing very little. This is the first time I felt Sam really loved him and I am invested in them now. Steve is finally showing some emotion behind Jason and when he's stoic it works like in his scenes with Sonny. I think it's a positive sign they are giving these kids personalities finally although I think I would still recast a few. Rocco is the only one I am truly sold on. I am still not sure I am 100% these changes are going to turn around the show because I think there is a lot to fix and a lot of dead weight, but I am happy with the way it's all starting.
  22. I remember Dominique was deaf and then somehow she got her hearing back lol.
  23. Yes. So I dug deeper and @DRW50 was right. Felicia leaves in May of 97 and there is talk about Felicia and the sacred items in the burial ground Maxie finds in Texas around August 1997 when KW returns. FYI, Tom and Felicia are still together at this point and he dumps her via a letter from Africa, so that mystery is solved. Maxie ends up bringing one of the dolls back home with her from Texas. Sonny and Brenda's non-wedding sort of takes over and there is more talk of the doll in October. A man named Lonnie is suddenly intent on finding this special doll. Lonnie basically stalks Felicia for a week or so then just confronts her and Mac saying the doll was made by his late wife and he wanted it back. They agreed to give it back. He saw Maxie really liked it and let her keep it. THE END. In my mind there was a much more spooky and creepy gothic feel to it, but I am not getting that vibe from the recaps. The next week the tale of 2 Macs begin, so I can imagine they had no idea what to do with the doll story if the 2 Macs story won out between the two lol. Anyway, Dara/Mac were a little flirty, but nothing special. He commiserates with her about Felicia and Mac takes Dara to Sonny/Brenda's non-wedding which causes Felicia to be jealous but it amounts to nothing. Obviously, that just what I found from recaps which could be a little off, but I think that's basically the gist of things happening for Felicia in the summer of 1997.
  24. So, Felicia was gone that summer, but came back and was jealous of Mac/Dara's friendship then it goes into the tale of 2 Macs story. I can't find anything online about the doll story, but I absolutely know what you are talking about. I thought it was a bit later than this time period. I can't be sure though. I wish I could remember the details because it was a weird story that just never had any conclusion.
