  1. Interesting. I didn't even think of Felicia's return. It's just usual GH misogyny that Felicia's absence was greater because she was the mom. Maxie and others did give Frisco a hard time too. In some ways I can understand the Felicia thing though. Emotions were very raw since her daughter was just brutally murdered. She's redeemed herself though. With Luke I feel like it was always, "lol, that's just Luke. Everyone's trying to box him in as a family man and it's not in his nature." As if Laura held a gun to his head and made him procreate. Jason and Lucky are getting passes here, but I do think they at least acknowledge some of their failings while characters like Luke didn't even seem to care.
  2. Predictable is right. It's definitely not unwatchable or anything, but Sonny/Carly/Jason and everyone else worrying about another criminal act that will have no consequences for anyone is dull. It's something we have all seen 100 times before.
  3. Laura really did go overboard propping Lucky. It wasn't ideal. Laura is sort of like that with Nikolas too, so it's not entirely out of character. It was nice to see GF and JJ together though. Sonny/Carly scenes are so boring. At least Laura Wright has lovely hair I can look while I am zoning out. How on earth did Sonny think this was going to end? Well? It still is unbelievable the show is pushing the narrative that murdering Jagger's was the only option Sonny had. Very smart move by Olivia trying to get the word out about Lulu's condition. I mean we all know who the donor will most likely be, but at least that was proactive. The Jason/Diane scenes were boring too. I know someone said CH wears a wig, but I am not sure she does. That's just a horribly unflattering hairstyle lol.
  4. Yeah, from my little legal knowledge EJ could arrest Sarah for lying to police and making a false statement, but it wasn't perjury. Perjury is actually lying under oath in court. So Sarah could get in trouble, but with her pretty plausible excuse of being on meds I don't think she would get in much trouble. Not 10 years of jail time lol. So that was just a bunch of nonsense on EJ's part. EJ also can't just refuse her request to recant her statement. Like you said, if Sarah won't testify it's a moot point. EJ's case against Brady is already dead. Even if he were to use Sarah's original statement, Justin would immediately be able to get it thrown out in court. As far as Holly, she broke up with Tate before Chad/FAbby decided to go to Paris and they are already there, so I think it's been a few days.
  5. I think there are other women you could try with Brady on the canvas, but the show/Ron just seems to default back to Brady/Kristen even though he was in love with Theresa like two months ago.
  6. Kristen and Susan aren't related at all just doppelgangers if Susan puts herself together right. So, ED's Kristen is clearly older than SH's Kristen (both look amazing btw). Brady was aged wildly even after the initial Kyle Lowder SORAS so it becomes blurry. Kristen is supposed to be maybe? a decade younger than John/Marlena, but at the end of the day Kristen passed EJ off as John Jr. so she should be old enough to be his mother. The scenes where ED's Kristen in 1997 tells toddler Brady she'll be his new mommy when her and John get married live rent free in my head. Tiny Brady was not agreeable to this. Foreshadowing, perhaps?
  7. I like Fiona too. Or at least this arc. Considering Kristen tried to pass off EJ as John's son, Kristen should be the same age as Susan/Fiona give or take a few years.
  8. JJ's Lucky was pretty friendly with Jason in his last return. They worked together to take down the Balkan.
  9. Lol! Well, at least Jason pays for his kids. I think deadbeat dad can have a broad meaning and Jason certainly checks off a lot of boxes. Sonny/Natalia are so gross. I hate Joss 99.9% of the time, but I would be super mad if Lucky trashed Bobbie's and I had to clean it up too. I am not going to lie, I actually do enjoy Lucky/Jason scenes. I think against all odds JJ/SBu have a convincing friendship or at least understanding. They both suck right now and it's clear this is all emmy bait for JJ, but I do like them as an unlikely duo. I love that Molly is the voice of reason about Sonny for the entire audience, but every other character (Anna) is like 🤷‍♀️ he has an alibi and Carly NEVER lies lol.
  10. Yes. Even with my strong dislike of Martha Madison's Belle, I think the show has always done really well casting their children. Everyone from Carrie down to Paul interact naturally with one another and seem like family. I have to give Days that.
  11. It didn't at all. I do think you could have moved Blaze in other directions or in different places, but I also don't think it was necessary. JGL seems like a lovely person with a nice attitude. I just don't think she was up to the task of the Kristina/Blaze/baby story at this point in time. That's not to say you couldn't bring her back sometime down the road. I don't object to JGL getting fired in general, but I certainly object to how it was handled and the fact they kept Natalia on instead. I think it's possible we might see the brother they mentioned soon too and I really would have issues with that.
  12. BB isn't exactly my type, but I think he's a good looking man. The styling for Stefan isn't great though, but that extends to at least 80% of the Days cast lol. I agree with @AbcNbc247 that Eric is being used well. Even though this part of the story was for John it works almost seamlessly with Eric too. One of the things I have always liked about the show is that Eric and Brady truly consider themselves brothers (I believe Sami considers Brady her brother as well). I love the blend of Roman/John/Marlena's family working together. It helps give Days a grounded family feeling especially when we have to watch Body & Soul crap two or three days a week.
  13. If the show wanted ELR so bad, why didn't they just bring her in as a character involved in Deception? She didn't have to be Blaze's mom to flirt with Sonny. The entire Blaze/Kristina/Natalia story just seems like a huge waste of time now. Natalia didn't learn anything, Blaze got shipped off, and Kristina doesn't care about it now that she lost the baby. I guess it gave people in town a chance to take a few more jabs at Ava, but I seriously don't understand the point of it all. I suppose with the writer changes backstage there could have been a better story outlined somewhere, but that doesn't really matter now.
  14. I never disliked Blaze, but the character always felt like a day player/D-role upgraded to a story that was way out of the characters league. JLG is okay and had some charm, but I don't see how it could have lasted long term. Mansi and Kristina's story was just so far out of what the character and the actress could realistically handle. I suppose they could have transferred Blaze out of Kristina's orbit, but it wasn't necessary. While I hate how the show/FV handled JLG's firing and the disregard for the LGBTQ community, I just would hope they cast a wider net for the next Kristina love interest. IMO, the firing wasn't wrong, the way the show did it was and keeping ELR/Natalia is disgusting.
  15. Yeah, even if there is an agenda behind bringing Lucas back I am okay with that. He was severely underutilized for so long. I feel bad for the way every thing went down with JGL, but I don't consider Blaze much of a loss and consider Lucas a win (for now).
  16. BITD, they were paired or teased together, so no. It was in 1992 or something so eons ago and I don't think it actually went anywhere, but they used to be close. She helped him when Mac first took over custody of Robin when Anna/Robert "died"
  17. Oh I am not saying it isn't stupid. It definitely gives vibes of a 90's JER contrivance where a character sees something, asks zero questions, and runs off and does something idiotic. I just don't know where they are going with this. Johnny's going to yell at Chanel and she'll be furious that he didn't trust her? Then Chanel will sleep with Alex for real? When the show just put effort in to re-starting Stephanie/Alex? It just doesn't make sense to me. None of this is very coherently soapy. Just a serious of events happening with little motivation
  18. I would assume we are getting these scenes because Frank loves Jophielle Love and thinks she's adorable. I can't account for his taste lol. I also think it's to move forward BLQ and Chase into parenthood. What else is that couple going to do? Both actors appear to have firm beliefs about modesty or something. I wouldn't hate if the show had BLQ/Chase/Violet all move to wherever Finn is and they recast Brook Lynn with someone willing to play the part appropriately either.
  19. I have no intel on the Violet situation, but I would assume once BLQ and Chase have their own bun in the oven she will be shipped off. 🤞. It's not like Finn is in rehab for life. I don't get the vibe the show is going to re-hire Easton, so at some point she'll probably go and live wherever Finn ends up. Hopefully far, far, far away from Port Charles.
  20. Yes, I feel like the show has been abundantly clear that Natalia knows Sonny is a mobster. That's why she got the added backstory of her ex being a "dangerous" man. I guess she's not put off by criminals just gay people. #Priorities.
  21. Ugh...another Body & Soul day and the "hilarious" rip off of Friends. Fantastic! I actually do like Dr. Burns deadpan delivery about everything. He's kind of funny tbh. In Johnny's mild defense, from the angle we saw you could really only see Alex not who was, um, underneath him. This should be the world's easiest situation to clear up though. Chanel was with Kayla and Stephanie and Alex would just admit what they were doing. I could see if Johnny left the room without confirmation and ran off to sleep with someone else irrationally, but there isn't even anyone on the canvas he's interested in/not related to. This story is an instance where it might have been smart to keep Wendy/Tripp involved to make it a messy quad.
  22. I actually never connected re-hiring Brad or Lucas as having anything to do with Blaze's exit. I may being giving GH too much credit, but I thought it was all a larger plan to rebuild the Spencers with the re-casting of Lucas, Lulu, Aiden, and bringing back JJ. It's only logical to bring back Brad. With the casting of Van Hansis, which I assume took some time, I got the feeling a plan was in play before they dumped JGL. Although with all the upheaval, who knows? NGL, I am no Brad stan, but I'd much rather see Brad/Lucas than Kristina/Blaze. Eva La Rue can go at anytime as well.
  23. Oh, no. It's literally impossible to imagine JJ's Lucky with Sam. Sam was very good with GV's Lucky. I think GV's Lucky was a more typical hero and family man (with flaws, obviously) while JJ's Lucky is a bit more cerebral, a great mixture of Luke/Laura, and just an entirely different type of Lucky. It's hard for me to buy JJ's Lucky as a cop or spy or whatever he's doing now-I could see him a bit more interested in the tech side of things as he was really good with computers as a child. Like Spinelli, but less quirky. GV is sexy and I would consider JJ's Lucky more jaded and not supposed to be hot or sexy exactly. He wouldn't find interest in someone like Sam. Making Lucky such a deadbeat dad has already boxed him in right now. I think JJ can definitely handle the material and work to be a better Lucky though.
  24. I am not trying to change your mind or anything, but JJ's last stint did him no favors. It was pretty dreary. I think you might like JJ's run as a kid/teen/young adult. He was quite charming, IMO. Although if you are more familiar with GV's Lucky it might be too different. The 3 Lucky's almost feel like entirely separate characters for me tbh.
  25. It doesn't seem like Roman will ever force Ava to pay rent so she has a good gig. I really didn't mind the set. I just didn't understand why the bed had to take up the entire space and you could literally see it at all times if you were in her apartment or even at her door lol.
