Spixie is still my thing, but most of KS/JJ scenes back then revolved around Aiden's kidnapping and she was trying to be helpful. KS had really bad hair back then so be warned if you look them up.

Yes! Another best friend on my side. I know there's a lot to unpack with the pairing, but they look age appropriate now and they were cute together in JJ's last return. Spixie has always been my fave Maxie pairing though. I still think of what Georgie/Spinelli could have been.

Fair enough. I was just curious as to why. You know I like Spinelli/Maxie a lot. You've been saying this about Michael/Maxie for awhile and I don't think it's a bad idea at all. Especially if they recast Michael.

@dragonflies 6 to 8 months ago I probably would agree with ditching both KS and Maxie at least for awhile. She's had a great turnaround lately and it's shocking. I'd be curious as to why you get rid of Maxie today. It's not like KS just appeared. She's been around for 20 years almost now.

Lol! No one is asking Amanda Setton to perform nude. Just basically do what every actor on soaps does and act out some romantic and sexy times? There have been several women on soaps decades older than AS that played romance believably and they weren't showing anything 'sexy'. They were just acting like they enjoyed sex. Setton doesn't look comfortable with the idea. This isn't about her beliefs. This is a business and a televised show. She really doesn't get to decide how she's portrayed especially if it's a detriment to the actual character.

I am sure a lot of actresses would gladly take on Brook Lynn and do the part justice. It's great Amanda has standards and morals. Unfortunately it does not work for her current role. I am wondering how many roles she thinks she can get as an actress with such strict modesty/moral codes. Acting is just not really that conducive to that. It's a shame because AS used to be a stand out talent. I think Josh can pick up movies on Hallmark pretty easily. He's handsome and charming, but bland enough to book parts.

Him or her? JS was fine doing love scenes pre-BLQ and Amanda seemed fine doing that as well. I think that all changed when she married and had kids. I believe it has a religious basis, but I think it's Judaism and not Christianity so the Christian network might not work for her.

Hallmark or God's Family Network sounds like a better fit for them. It's disappointing Brook Lynn became such a dud of a character. Not to woman shame, but I think it's more of a Amanda Setton problem than a Josh problem. He seems to be fine showing skin and I think he's just being a respectful co star taking her lead on these media responses.

As a female, I find it ridiculous to even think about putting on a full set of pajamas and a robe after sex and then going back to lie under covers. That's so much effort. They absolutely could find her a silky nightgown set with a silky robe to make it slightly believable. I have no idea what Setton's "modesty" rules are, but if these two are married on screen isn't that okay? You are acting out a character newly married on a tv show.

Leo did say he tried to get in contact with Chad multiple times, but still hasn't heard back as of today.

Yeah, I suppose they could have fire chemistry. I still don't see Lois wanting a life with a mobster/arms dealer/criminal. She couldn't stay with Ned for much lesser offenses. Lois has strong principle. She was never like Brenda or Robin who could turn a blind eye to things. She always was upfront and honest about Sonny/Jason's shenanigans.

Yeah, the entire thing with models/actors/singers on soaps is that they are in a small town. I would take L&B back in a second, but it's hard to believe these people are truly famous and not just playing at Luke's every weekend lol. I guess it would be Curtis's club these days instead. I think you could make it slightly believable by just one or two characters saying Lois and Brook are in New York working instead of basing their entire business in PC with PC characters and make it seem more expansive in general.

Unfortunately, I do. I am not the biggest fan of singing on soaps in general, but I hate when it's very marginally talented singers and that era had a lot of them lol. It's still hard for me to buy Ned as a rockstar, but at least that story was fun. Then again, I didn't buy Miguel Morez as a rockstar, but Ricky Martin has proven me wrong lol.

Oh, sure you can talk about it but we don't need to re-explore it. I am not sure if half the things LK's Lois did are even part of the Lois canon anymore though.

I wouldn't mind Alcazar coming back long term even. I just want to stay away from the Lois/Alcazar romance. Even though I am sure TK and Rena would have good chemistry the pairing felt wildly out of character. I am all in on a Jax recast though.

Joy should be a villain or at least a bit of a vixen. 3 "nice" people in a triangle gets boring quick. I felt Rafe was going to end up at BlackPatch too. It makes sense. It's depressing, but Steve can't really keep it going alone.

Yay! One person on my side lol. It would be an easy thread to pick up because Jax even mentioned he had a thing for Lois when Lesli Kay's Lois appeared. Plus, there are a few places Jax can still be used on the canvas. I heard some people say bring Ted King back and while I don't mind the idea of Alcazar back I'd rather forget about his romance with Lois. I don't think you are giving the show too much credit. I had similar thoughts while watching. Cody never really got a good look at Lulu. And he didn't actually know Lulu so her voice, mannerisms, even build wouldn't be especially familiar to him if he only saw pictures.

The way the show has always framed it to me is that Wendy/Tripp are on an extended vacation/trip. I don't think Tripp needs a new license to practice because I think the general intention is to come back to Salem at some point. So it's like a sabbatical or extended leave.

Joey took a trip to visit Wendy and Tripp in Hong Kong. Roman was still feeling ill after his poisoned cupcake and was resting upstairs. They mentioned both things in the episode. The pizza joke makes sense because it's referencing the Q Thanksgivings for Wally/Ned. It was "wink, wink" but wasn't as obnoxious as usual.

I know it definitely happens in real life and I wouldn't even mind if that's what Days was going for. Unfortunately I don't think it is at all. It appears Days is trying to sell this as love or at least the beginnings of a great relationship. I haven't read spoilers lately, but if Javi turns out to be the new Lady Whistleblower it might make this story more intriguing.

3 days. They met. Javi/Leo texted the next day and apparently spent the night together. The next morning they broke up. I am not even wildly guessing. One of the two of them confirmed that timeline on the show. It's ridiculous

At least Joy/Johnny made some sense. The show was keeping it vague for a reason. It makes no sense to not see Javi/Leo do much of anything romantic and immediately break them up. For a character Ron is so invested in, Leo really gets the most obnoxious material. It does feel intentional sometimes.
