  1. I think GH is taking the stand that they are proud of following the actor's wishes. Which, of course, is nice. There are a million jobs they both could take that would not require such restrictions. As someone who's worked normal jobs like everyone else here it would be like me taking a job that requires me working Sunday. Then deciding I had to go to church every Sunday and couldn't work that day at all. It's not hating beliefs, it's just literally not being able to fulfill the job requirement anymore. They aren't willing or able to fulfill the job duties currently. Same.
  2. Idk, this may sound harsh but if AS and JS's beliefs changed after they took the job then the job should be able to say move along and change their contract status. They are basically holding the show hostage with their demands with one of the few GH love stories the show is willing to invest in.
  3. Thank you both! It was definitely a cool clip. I love seeing the show dig deep with flashbacks.
  4. Does anyone know the year/date of the clip of Maggie/Doug dancing to Carmen? It's probably a question for @JAS0N47, but I have never seen it before. I don't think flashbacks will ever take the place of full episodes. Jarring or not, flashbacks don't give a whole story and sometimes the less flashy moments for a character are still memorable to me.
  5. Again, I will say they will be lucky if there are Brook Lynn and Chase scenes still on the internet when their kids are even old enough to find them lol. I don't know you could also just explain to your child this is your acting job and it's not real like most every other actor with a child does. I have no doubt Amanda and possibly Josh feel some kind of way about modesty, nudity, and sex scenes, but using your toddlers as the excuse is pretty lame. Interesting. Not about the boundary stuff, but I didn't know the lady at the mental facility was his wife.
  6. Thanks for this thread! I am going to actually try to check out spoilers for Days now. Which I think we all know is a lie and I will just remain entirely out of the loop😂
  7. I liked the way Tony played it too. He didn't want to crush Lucky's dreams about Heaven and the afterlife, but you could tell he was skeptical. A very nuanced scene to pull by both. Also, it's really gross Luke was smoking a cigar in his kitchen first thing in the morning. I have watched this episode a million times and didn't notice it until I re-watched it yesterday lol.
  8. I think he has talent too. A lot of his stories did sound good on paper even at Days, but they either drug out or came to weird conclusions. Sometimes it was the execution not the idea. I just think he can be a very imperfect, sometimes petty man. I am not sad he left Days. His time was up there, but that doesn't mean I don't think he can still write good things if he wants to.
  9. This is the best answer here!! I think Josh Kelly is hot and charming which is more than I can say for half the cast.
  10. You have to assume Ron cared because he cared about Bill. I don't think Ron is a soulless monster-just a hack. I think he took this seriously because it was a real life death of an important character and a revered man. Props to Susan for being able to act this out on screen. I can only imagine how difficult it was for her.
  11. I am pretty sure Susan/Roger have been married for awhile.
  12. In my mind it would be obvious to use Marlena in an episode trying to catch new viewers. She's the most recognizable person in the cast and I would assume most people watching a Parade would have young kids and watched the 90's or 2000's.
  13. I really don't know if Days is looking to trick a viewer into watching 1 episode. That's not helpful in the scheme of things.
  14. Lani was plead guilty to murder and served her time. Gabi's charges were dropped, so she's not currently a convicted felon. She might be for past crimes, but not Li's murder. Cady vs. Missy-you just have to choose. At this point I would just keep Missy since it seems she is willing to appear sporadically. If you want to use Jen full time hire Cady. With the way Days tapes it seems like you could spread out Matt and Missy's appearances if you were strategic. I also don't know why anyone watching a Thanksgiving Parade would want to watch a sad episode of Days after. That would actually turn off viewers casually checking in with the family.
  15. Lol! Like hey, fam, let's all watch Days today! Holiday episode! Whoops sorry everyone-that was depressing. Football? I am going to assume the show wanted more eyeballs to view Doug's death, but tomorrow would have been totally appropriate. I never even cared for Missy/Jen much. She just always seamlessly steps back into the role even after a long absence. It makes Cady's appearance's more noticeable. Everything Jen did today just felt right for the Jen I grew up with. Since they use Jen so infrequently I would just ditch Cady all together. It's not her fault. She tries, but it jarring to switch back and forth.
  16. I thought it was quite obvious that Missy can immediately pick up Jennifer at any time and it just fits. Say what you want about her as a human, but she gets Jen. I thought this episode was incredibly sad for a Thanksgiving episode. I am not sure today was the day to kill Doug off.
  17. Thank you for this! Such a beautiful episode. Tom/Felicia's stupid romance didn't even ruin it. I used to love Lucy and her duck, but it seemed slightly out of place in this episode. KMc was so talented as a young actress. She's just absolutely fabulous. Everyone here is, but Mo really stands out as well. I really like the Luke/Lucky conversation. It's something I have remembered for 20 years now it stood out that much. The whole show feels like a community where everyone is affected by Stone's death. The way the episode is structured is fascinating as well. Characters pop in and out. Mac, Luke, Lucky, Brenda just show up late in the episode. It's so much more organic than the show having the set characters featured in the episode in every set of scenes and that's it lol. And of course Brenda is the hysterical mess while everyone else is acting quietly with their grief. The look on Lily's face when Sonny grabs Brenda away from Stone's body is 100% worth it though even all these years later lol.
  18. It's weird because Becky's hair doesn't bother me. It's clear it's straightened and she should grow it longer, but it looks thick and healthy. It's people like Sasha and Willow that walk around with limp hair hanging at their shoulder to match their personalities I suppose lol. Those hairstyles look undone. Some people on the show just look more 'put together' than others. I assume some of these actresses are just better at doing their own hair and fix it up.
  19. They seem to be letting Annalynne McCord wear her hair natural on Days. It does look a bit different from scene to scene but it doesn't bother me. I also assume this is because Days doesn't have the budget to straighten her hair lol. I'll check out LW's hair the next time she's on. I really haven't noticed much of a difference. I also haven't really been looking because it's Carly lol.
  20. That's interesting. I have never heard that before, but it does make sense. But Frank could just let her wear it curly all the time I suppose. You do have a point. Curly hair doesn't really suit Carly. Every woman on GH has variations on flat ironed/blown out hair and it's very homogenous. It's a shame to waste those pretty natural curls. Like I said, I haven't noticed her hair being bad lately, but she often wears things that are too casual and just not right for the character. Things I could never imagine Sarah or Tamara's Carly ever wearing. LW has mostly looked good throughout her run as Carly, but about a decade ago everything was backless or had cut outs and it was clear she wasn't wearing a bra. I thought that was more unflattering than anything she is wearing now. Also, Happy Thanksgiving my SON Friends!!!!
  21. I wouldn't mind if they let Laura wear her hair naturally as well. The curls are pretty, but I guess straight hair looks more sophisticated. Her wardrobe is weak, but I do think it's what she likes to wear. It's just not the most flattering. Perhaps it looks better in person than on camera.
  22. I agree Maura can successfully pull off a lot of looks but her hair isn't great. It's so brittle I'd be afraid to touch it. She looks great. I just think there are a few other people on the show with better hair. It does and makes LW look frumpy. She isn't at all. The show just either gives no notes on wardrobe for her or actively hate her. Sometimes it's very out of character. It's soccer mom.
  23. I think you probably have to really unpack and talk about the GV Lucky years if you move forward with a Maxie/Lucky pairing, which the show probably wouldn't do. Laura's hair has always look great to me. Her wardrobe is atrocious and has been forever. It's not as bad as the years she just decided to go braless and things were hanging out, but it's not flattering. She has a pear shape and the show mostly tries to work against it. It's strange.
  24. I will disagree about Maura. Shocking, I know lol. I don't think her hair is that great. She can pull off a bunch of looks but it looks a little fried. Too bleached. Laura has the best hair on GH. Although LLC/Becky H do have a thickness and poof ratio that is very good as well. A lot of hair on GH looks stringy and plain to be honest.
  25. It's really not fair to compare any other human's hair to Laura Wright's beautiful locks.
