Ha! I totally forgot about the cult story. I guess she did get material there. I may sound like I have the attention span of a gnat, but I found the DOD story to be bad and also really confusing. Like they kept connecting more and more characters to the guy (Shilo?) and I couldn't follow it anymore lol. I don't think Lexi turned down a contract. I think GH let her say what she wanted to the public due to her long tenure with the show. It's really hard to imagine Lexi in this current Kristina story. I think she was quietly let go.

My biggest problem with Javi/Leo isn't actually Leo for once. This "romance" was horribly paced and written. Why should I care even if I liked Leo? They have admittedly said on screen they've known one another for a few days. They flirted a bit, shared some texts, had a few conversations, then woke up in bed together the next morning. We didn't even see anything romantic, sexy, or even anything beyond basic attraction. Putting my dislike of both characters aside, I have yet to see anything rootable about them.

I don't get the Lexi vs. Kate Kristina posts. Mansi immediately got lead, juicy material and Lexi got......to appear 10 times a year? Lol. You can't really compare the two. GH recast and decided to write for Kristina. It's not like Lexi was poorly performing heavy material or anything. Obviously, Lexi's Kristina didn't inspire the writing team, but I still think that's more based on both her and (Haley Pullos) very young looking appearances.

Yup. That's why I have a hard time buying anything GH or FV are selling us. I keep hearing Disney/ABC/whoever wants a huge cast, but main characters are dropping like flies. Of course, Michael and Sam aren't great examples of characters I'd keep, but I'd keep them both before I'd waste money on ELR, MEK, Cyrus, Brennen or keep around other various dead weight characters.

I have a hard time picturing Lois with anyone currently on canvas not named Ned. Since that's not possible the show needs to hire. At least we were spared Sonny/Lois. When Rena first returned I was a little worried about some of the vibes the Sonny/Lois scenes were giving off.

I can't even imagine Lois/Martin together. Just because they are two popular soap actors from the 90's doesn't mean they should be paired together. What on earth would they even have in common? Lois has more in common with Jason lol.

It makes sense. Again, I am not asking for a Jax recast, but Lois was the first woman in PC to catch his eye and it would work if they found someone with good chemistry with Rena. And I assume it wouldn't be terribly hard to find someone that has chemistry with Rena. It would give Lois some viable tension with Carly and Sonny and something to do. It's just a thought, but they need to give Rena something to do and hire her a love interest stat.

Lol! I was thinking Lois might have more of a problem with it than Brenda. It would also position Carly/Lois as rivals and I know Carly doesn't need more enemies or anything, but it's never sat right with me that Lois is perfectly fine with Carly currently. Lois should have numerous issues with her in general because she has integrity.

Yeah, I too struggle to find a place for him and frankly think Jax lasted longer on the canvas than he should have. I spent years complaining Jax did nothing! Outside of the Brenda and Carly pairings Jax just said Sonny was the worst for decades. If you really want to bring Jax back I'd say find someone that works well with Rena and maybe go for a Lois/Jax pairing. It's a little weird on Lois's part to go after Brenda's sloppy seconds, but it's been so long I would give that a pass.

Agreed. I get more sense of dread that GH is going to be cancelled than Days even though they shoot in a cardboard box. It does feel like the end is closer than I want or think for GH. I know people talk about Frank and how good he manages budgets, but it seems like they are always scrambling for more money and aren't making proper cuts elsewhere. I have no love for KeMO or Duell, but I would be super upset if I was asked to take a pay cut/airtime cut after years of service too.

Say what you will about Duell/Michael. I know I have lol. I don't think it's ever a good sign to lose a 15 year vet especially right after Kelly's firing. I have no idea if it's a paycut situation or CD just being bored. It's just makes me think morale is low on the GH set. And, you know, fire the 50 recurring characters you have before making everyone and their mother take cuts.

LOL! It's crazy how much Ingo dropped his own accent. I'll be honest, I don't think Harrington would have been a BAD Jax recast and it's certainly more believable than him as a Jagger recast-I just think AH lacked some charm and charisma that Jax requires.

I love Jax as a character. I have always loved Jax even if Ingo is a deplorable human. I struggle to find him necessary on the current canvas. Sure, Joss needs one more person to tell her how awesome she is and Carly does need a love interest-I just don't see the need for Jax. I would ditch the Australian accent and open up the casting prospects if the show decided to bring him back though.

I also liked Phillip/Stephanie back in the day. And hilariously, Stephanie's hair looks almost identical to Shelly Hennig's hair at the time so that was a strange comment. I actually find JPL to have a lot of charm and charisma, but, man, he is so wrong for Phillip. It's crazy. @Bright Eyesas an obnoxious white woman myself I find LG annoying af. It's not just you. She's just so unlikeable. She has these strange acting tics where she's trying to be cute or spunky or something, but it's so irritating.

Yeah, from what I can tell GR was open about who he was and these women at least paid for a vaguely legal service. I think GR even went on a talk show saying that was what he was doing to make cash. SM was just scamming down on their luck or vulnerable people because he's a scumbag.

I don't think he was straight. But apparently in the mid to late 90's he advertised himself as an "escort" that would take ladies to parties and what not so I guess you can take from that what you will Stephen Martines appears to be an actual criminal finding rich widows and actually stealing their money. I don't think he was ever charged with anything, but he was using religion as the backbone for the money he needed. It's fairly easy to google it or I would go into more. I don't want to get yelled at for going off topic on the thread though lol.

Instead of stuffing 5 more people in the Q mansion (which I honestly don't mind), why don't Dante and Jason just live in the penthouse together with the kids? It could be like a wacky my two dads like sitcom. I suppose this is all just temp anyhow considering I assume Lulu will make it back to PC sometime before the year ends lol.

On one hand I want the Kristen/Marlena rivalry played up, but Marlena won that war years ago. She should hate Kristen, but her indifference to her is hilarious.

The Kristen factor alone should make John/Marlena ask Brady to leave. There is no reason Kristen should be able to pop in when she feels like it especially after harassing John/Marlena for years. Rachel can come by, but Kristen shouldn't be allowed at all. Luckily, John/Marlena don't appear to care about Kristen in any way lol.

Exactly. I am sure Brook Kerr would love to work with an actor that cares so I want SB for her. Actually, I want anyone that tries to regularly act to work with her lol.

Honestly, bringing Shawn back would just make Curtis look like a loser and Donnell will cry about it and probably talk about how great Laura/Curtis would be. But Shawn > Curtis any day of the week.

Listen, I am not even picky. Just say they live anywhere, show an exterior shot, and have them film scenes in John/Marlena's living room or the pub. It's becoming weird that Brady is perfectly content with his bedroom at his parents house for years on end. Tate has a bedroom set just tell me he's sexing up Sophia in a different space and I'll believe it.

Loved me some Carly/Shawn! They had such good chemistry. Instead we get Carly hanging out with Brennen which is entirely pointless. I know people on here like Brennen but he's such a useless character to me. I keep wondering why he's still in PC. I didn't mind Alexis/Shawn either, but you are right. It was basically a non-pairing. It sort of reminded me of the years when the show tried to make Mac/Alexis a thing and nothing ever came of it. Obviously, two completely different character and couplings, but it just sort of lingered instead of moving anywhere.

Honestly, I don't even care if Brady/Tate have a set. Just say they live somewhere else. The two of them can still just chit chat in John/Marlena's living room for all I care.
