  1. Absolutely. As soon as I saw that shot... I said to myself... I have seen this... and had to hunt it down. 😂
  2. Today I found a pretty amusing similarity between an opening shot from 2003 and a new one from 2024. Can we guys find similar things happening through the years? The same type of shot in the intro... reimagined? Finn today. Original - episode 3973 - Michael Dietz as Mark Maclaine
  3. I think the second picture is sort of an unintentional /or intentional/ homage to this one from 2003.😂 (source - episode 3973 - Michael Dietz as Mark Maclaine) Compare to our Finn today. Original 😂
  4. This is the truth. I know it, but I will be here till the last breaths of the show... till Titanic finally plunges to the ocean floor.
  5. I like Finn's new photos, especially the 2nd one. And I'm not gonna miss RJ or Thomas. Nothing against actors, but Thomas was damaged goods (Bradley Bell assassinated that character till it barely moved)... and RJ just didn't work (more beefy version of Rick). I would get Bridget back instead and maybe... get her close to Finn. I mean... she is a doctor after all.
  6. These pictures are amazing. Thank you for sharing!
  7. Seeing Liam's 2 photos still in that intro irritates the hell out of me. I want him gone. 100 PERCENT gone and the entire period of him being on the show, from first to last episode - burned and forgotten. 😂
  8. If Liam is gone off the opening... I will open a champagne.
  9. Another World - January 2, 1989 You can't buy yourself happiness. What an episode! Wow. The show was must-see TV from the first minute till the last! Let's begin! Shall we? It's New Year's eve in Bay City and everyone is getting ready to say Goodbye to 1988 and Hello to 1989! In Amanda and Sam's apartment the guests are cheerful and in great mood, with the exception of Iris, who is staring out the window full of jealousy. That woman can't stand seeing happy people! In her trademark-intelligent way, Rachel put Josie under heavy questioning about her plans for the future. Her innuendoes referred to Josie being a little too friendly with the boys. She interrogated that girl in the disguise of a friendly chat. Josie felt on the spot and couldn't talk her way out of it. Lucky for her, Mathew grabbed her just when the mother-lioness Rachel was expecting an answer. Mary's good deed in helping Pilara is backfiring on the whole family! Pilara came under false pretense to wish Mary Happy New Year, in order to steal the key to Vince's restaurant so that she and Reuben can rob it later that evening. When they arrived at the restaurant later in the evening, to execute their plan, they didn't expect that John had organized a surprise-private dinner for Sharlene. Realizing that they can't get out without being noticed, the two thieves hid under the bar. Vicky (how I missed seeing my annoying little fox) was showing Jamie her gift for him - their new house. Jamie was disturbed by the fact that the house is the one just across the estate that he and Lisa wanted to buy. Vicky, this is the best way to making a man despise you. You are torturing Jamie and emotionally forcing him 24/7! I think these two break the record for the most TOXIC relationship ever. I would not even call it a relationship - it's more of a high-school competition and obsession for Vicky. Iris found herself once again competing for Daddy's attention with Amanda! Later she said something so wicked to her half-sister... that I laughed out loud. When talking about her relationship with Sam, Amanda reassured Iris that they were good and feeling better than ever as a couple, to which Iris replied - I'm so happy. I wouldn't want anything to stand between you. I was screaming! The NERVE that woman has to lie through her teeth like a snake! Carmen Duncan is a gold mine for this show! In the end of the episode we saw a beautiful montage of people celebrating the countdown to 1989, John and Sharlene dancing together... not realizing that Pilara and her boyfriend have accidentally set a fire in the kitchen. Oh, the suspense! Can't wait for tomorrow! Overall - Favorite moment - The ending! Another World - January 2, 1989.mp4
  10. Absolutely. And I think it's great (for the sake of the drama) that in a way Rachel's spoiled children are her Achilles's heel.
  11. I remember his treatment of Ellen Holly and I get nightmares.
  12. Interesting idea. Very soapy. And btw, at the time of my watching... both characters are doing the same thing at the moment - persuading taken men.
  13. IT'S SNOWING OUTSIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  15. And don't get me started on that spoiled brat nepo baby Amanda. She really gets on my nerve when she starts demanding things of her parents. She never really appreciates what Rachel and Mac do for her. Maybe it's my lack of prior viewing that makes me experience her like this, but that's how it is. I'm watching with virgin eyes and lack knowledge of past history. I admit my impressions are probably off and that's cool. I still have time to change them along the way. But for now... I find Amanda the typical rich-first world problems-princess. Don't get me wrong - I kinda like her that way. I don't like to relate to everyone and I like the characters to irritate me at times - it means they are making me feel emotion. She is not a bad person, but she comes off spoiled, ungrateful and also gullible and easily manipulated (we saw that with Iris... who won her over with few fake compliments and a job offer. AFTER her OWN MOTHER asked her not to trust Iris) And... Sam... is the type of guy that would have probably made me fall in love when I was in my early 20s. That's why I find him corny and stand-offish. Mr. Big Artiste... that is scrabbing bizarre portraits of babies... and his mother in law buys him a gallery. Then he acts like HOW DARE you give me a gallery... B-tch, appreciate what Rachel gave you, because you are no Michelangelo. The biddies at the gallery opening shared my thoughts, as I recall - they were not impressed. Also... people should not feel guilty that they are rich and powerful while you are not. And it's something he constantly gaslits Amanda into experiencing guilt about. If he wants to be poor and unsuccessful - let him. That would be so easy. 😂 I can't wait to see how it unfolds. ❤️
  16. Oh, I would never prefer Evan over anyone... Evan is the lowest of the low. Right now he is working under Iris's orders to seduce Amanda and ruin her marriage. I've noted that many times in my commentaries. Sam is absolutely not wrong about Evan, even though he hasn't commented on him much YET... but he was wrong to act hysterical and punch the guy that Amanda openly told him beforehand that she is meeting only for a research project. That was stupid and infantile of Sam to do. Yeah, I get it, it may look cool and macho, but it's... also corny.
  17. She's a failed vixen, that's what she is. For 3 months all I've seen her do is flirt with taken men. And in the end all she consumes is Iris's scraps when Evan has some time to kill before Iris calls back. She and Evan are two of a kind.
  18. Caroline doesn't stand a chance. Oh, I hope she gets her karma.
