For some reason I see this post just now... I missed it before. I'm sorry for my late response. @Anooj I appreciate all your commentary. What I think about the Macy, Darla, Thorne situation is that it's very reductive, very cliche, very boring, but at least it's more edible than Ridge calling Bridget my princess every episode. At least I don't feel like throwing up watching it. At least the characters are not crazily related so that it will border on incest. But I find the sudden reactivation of Darla... unbelievable and her sudden love for Thorne - absurd. She's known this man practically her whole life... and now... just NOW decided she wants his babies. Stupid.

I have repeatedly said that with the material these people are given... not much acting can save it. But saying that Crew Morrow can act circles around KKL and AN... sounds like a joke without a punchline. It really does. Crew is not even remotely in the league of Annika Noelle. And that is normal. Nobody expects it from him. He's a newbie. He has time to grow. That I agree with. He should have been Brooke's gay son that wrecks Ridge's misogyny and homophobia to pieces. It would have been so nice. But... shoulda woulda coulda... Bradley Bell will never do it.
