  2. Absolutely ridiculous. Bradley Bell trolls us every day.
  3. I agree with pretty much all of you guys' takes. We'll see if CBS's gamble was worth it. I hope they learn from it... if it backfires and never do this again. The perceived "drop" in ratings was not substantial to warrant any need for experiments. 5 episodes off... kills momentum, which this show was beginning to have.
  4. I second this. Have fun @skiman12082004.🎇
  5. Oh no... No... Nooo. Nip and tuck was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. Nooo. Can't be.

  7. A youtuber that went viral in 2007 when he made a video called "Leave Britney Alone" - he was melodramatically enraged and asking people to stop tormenting Brit and Leave her alone. So yeah, LEAVE our classic soap videos ALONE. I can't imagine how disappointing it is to lose a channel full of thousands of videos that someone was collecting and putting in playlists for years. That's why I have been telling people for years now - anything on youtube is temporary there, download it, before it disappears. That's the sad reality. So much amazing content I've lost because I was too lazy in not downloading it. AMEN! 💓
  8. Up to May 18th, 1992. 💔 "Goodbyes." Today's review will be a bit shorter, because last night I only managed 2 episodes. They had quite the important stuff though, so I will not wait to write it down. It was 2 episodes full of Goodbyes. So what is going on right now? 🔷 Leanne Demerest decided to leave her teenager "husband". Yes, that's right. And she didn't have the decency to take any responsibility for her actions. She blamed Kevin for everything and the rest of the blame was for his mother. Who did absolutely nothing, but try to make her feel comfortable and accepted. Leanne is doing this once again as some sort of emotional blackmail of course, she wants Kevin to beg her to stay. But before that she wants to have some fun with Jason, while she and Kevin are broken up. Ugh, you are pregnant, you piece of sh-t... CONTROL your libido and come to your senses! 🔷 And that takes us to Goodbye number 2 - Jason disappointed me... He picked the moment when Dorian is at her most vulnerable - the moment when she felt like her whole life is broken in pieces... to DUMP HER. Dorian begged him for another chance, but he wanted to take the band-aid fast and cold. He was DONE with her and wished her well. You can do better, Dorian. I like Jason, yes, I love to see his development, but he's still a young man, find yourself a real grown-up, Dorian. 🔷 The new leading suspect for Carlo Hesser's murder is Sarah Buchanan. They caught her just as she was trying to get rid of the gun. Bo blamed Cassie for all of this... and that brings us to Goodbye number 3. Cassie FINALLY stood up for herself and put Bo in his place. You could feel the hurt and the disappointment. I can't believe I used to root for this couple just months ago. They are almost enemies now. 🔷 Max couldn't contain his jealousy, so he basically kidnapped Blair from her bed at Asa's manor. Asa vowed to get Blair back as soon as possible and blamed Max for taking advantage of her when she "didn't know where she was"... And yes, Blair appeared to be really out of it... but was she? She came to her feet as soon as Asa was not watching. Mere minutes ago she was barely opening her eyes, LOL. Victoria must have been right. 🔷 Maggie and Andrew fought about Sarah's arrest. Andrew was repeating his stupidity how Sarah just isn't capable of murder, because SHE IS SARAH - a blue-eyed angel. But then Maggie corrected him - everyone is capable of murder if the right circumstances come about. I can't believe that the Reverend is so naive. Is this man a virgin or something? Maggie was right - one of the most brutal killers have appeared saintly and innocent to their relatives and neighbors. Not all killers look like Charles Manson. Some look like... Sarah Buchanan... who Alex described as - a pill popping bimbo, just as she was leaving the jail as a free woman. Oh, yeah... Alex is back, baby! Overall - 10 out of 10! Clip of the day - Bo and Cassie. The sad ruins of a love story.
  9. Thank you for telling us this! I'm really surprised they would experiment like this... with a new soap. A week off, repeating the 5 episodes from the beginning does not sound like a good strategy to recover interest (if they thought it was diminishing). I would have upped the promos for the new episodes instead. Maybe even done a promo featuring more and more stuff from the future. As much as possible. But hey, maybe they will prove me wrong and the experiment will work. I won't bet on it though. The other issue is the lack of promo for the repeats. A big percentage of people does not browse forums and has no way of knowing what is happening. And the truth is - confusing people is one of the surest ways to lose their participation in anything. That's a basic life-truth. People won't suddenly start watching more when they repeat old episodes. They will just lose trust in that their soap will be regular as usual. We soap fans love the regularity and the schedule of having a new episode every day. That's how we are. Not everyone, but a lot of us are. I'm not saying we'll see a dip in ratings, but if WE do see one... it will be ALL CBS's fault. Not MVJ or the people in the show. I won't blame them one bit.
  10. The thing I will miss about the BM channel was the subtitles. I managed to archive everything 1-2 years ago and yes, we still have the vault for which I'm sooo grateful... the issue for me... is that I forgot to download the subtitles from youtube (the automatic captions) and I would use them when watching... a lot, especially when the quality was lacking and the youtube AI somehow managed to create subtitles. And, of course... the fact that you can just click on the youtube app on the tv and watch. It's way easier that having to connect a drive to the TV, open up the folders and search. These channel-takedowns horrify me. I hope to God something like this doesn't happen to the AW videos currently being uploaded. Again, I'm downloading everything the second it hits youtube... but still. In Chris Crocker's words from 2007 - LEAVE... THE SOAP EPISODES... ALONE!
  11. As I recall the entire year of 2003 is on youtube, I think uploaded 2 or 3 times by different uploaders. If they have missed a certain episode, tell me the date and I'll search in my collection. I should have full 2003, even though I haven't checked the folders. Yes!!! It's just on the verge of being... too broken up. Like she's acting. And that was even more apparent when Max came to see her in the next episode... and suddenly when Asa was not around or looking... Blair was on her feet and acting like she's fine. Love a fox that knows how to use an injury to her advantage. 😂 The makings of a true antagonist.
  12. "Bucky, I'm serious... the good times are over. We need to get our stuff together and leave this town before it's too late."

  14. Heather Tom with her 20 episodes so far... is barely here... almost gone.
  15. Up to May 15th, 1992. 💍 "Marry me, Blair!" I'm so excited that... I'm actually watching mid-May 1992 episodes. This is my 8th month of the show and considering that the episodes are 40+ minutes and there aren't many missing (2-3 missing so far I think)... I can't believe I still haven't been bored or fed up (which I usually am at a certain point with all the soaps). On the contrary - it's becoming better and better. I'm definitely putting OLTL as my number 1 classic soap. I've found my biggest obsession. 🔷 So what is going on right now? 🔷 Let me start with the big stuff first. After searching for Agatha for 2 days, Max and Blair found her in Max's attic. She had regressed to a child-like state. Soon Max and Blair were joined by Dorian who finally faced her sister after 4 decades. Blair accused Dorian of deserting Agatha and before that - tormenting her and driving her insane. Dorian had another version of the story - all of the details that Blair knew, all of the abuse that Agatha blamed Dorian for... were actually things that Dorian survived at the hands of Agatha. When Agatha told Blair that Dorian cut her with scissors, it was actually Agatha stabbing Dorian in the back. Dorian even showed Blair her scars. In the end of the episode, Addie jumped from the window. She survived with a broken hand and was admitted to the hospital. 🔷 Leanne Demerest did what she does best - she self-sabotaged by kissing Jason. Of course, in a typical soap opera fashion... the idiot Kevin saw it. The young "couple" had a huge fight which led to Kevin and Jason to a physical altercation. When the rest of the family found out what happened, Leanne was once again on the receiving end of Asa Buchanan's threats. This time deservedly so. Victoria tried to reason with her with no success. Why is Victoria even trying? Leanne is a lost cause. And then... as stupid as Kevin is, he blamed his family for alienating Leanne and... wanted to give her another chance. Jesus Christ. I have to remind myself that he is still very young, practically a kid... so I can't blame him. 🔷 A search warrant was issued for Sarah and Bo's apartment. Sarah and Bo found a strange gun in the house couple of days ago, which Sarah claimed to have no recollection where it came from. Bo presumed that it was probably planted by Alex. They had been hiding it till now... Before the search... Andrew tried to stop Cassie and Maggie from entering telling them to give Sarah "a chance"?! WTF. Move away, reverend and let the girls do their job, please. And let me tell you, when Sarah was busted... her whole demeanor changed. Suddenly she appeared menacing. She pointed the gun at Maggie and then... managed to escape. Is this our killer? I'm not sure anymore. But they better wrap this up, before it gets boring. Wrap it up! 🔷 In the aftermath of finding out that Dorian was not the evil woman she believed she was... Blair was in deep despair. She wanted to do something impulsive that will make her forget for a moment, so she went out for a ride on one of Asa's horses. Without any safety measures, Blair fell down and Asa found her unconscious. Instead of transporting her to a hospital, Asa put her in one of the bedrooms and hired a private doctor to take care of her. Cain Rogan tried to intervene and told him that Blair is a dangerous opportunist. Of course, just as Blair was all cozy recovering in one of Asa's beds, Renee came to collect some of her belongings. Not knowing that Blair is sleeping in the bedroom, she opened the door and saw her. Renee stormed out and ran to inform Victoria of what she had seen. Cain Rogan shocked the Buchanans with even scarier news - he told them that Asa wanted to marry Blair. Realizing what was about to happen and what kind of monster was going to rule their family, Victoria decided it's time to STOP Blair. In one of the best scenes in the show so far! (The clip of the day) Victoria's voice dripped with honey, her face... sunny and sweet... but the truths she was saying were piercing to the core. The "kill-them-with-kindness" queen Victoria... delivered. 🔷 The biggest loser in all of this... right now is Max Holden. He thought that Blair had finally opened up to him, he was so sure that they were going to be together, but Blair pulled the rug underneath him again. He found out that she was staying with Asa... and completely lost it. Seeing a man be so distraught over a woman is a nice change to seeing the opposite on soaps all the time. Luna (who the writers have lost interest in... in my opinion) tried to stop him going after Blair, but that made Max even more angry. For some reason I enjoy seeing the womanizer Max being put in his place. He dumped Leanne like a dog... so he deserves this as his karma. Overall - 10 out of 10! Clip of the day - Victoria confronts Blair about infiltrating the Buchanan family.
  16. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. WHAAAAAAAT. This is horrifying. Blake Marler's channel was a treasure. No... No... No... This is sooo devastating. What the hell is going on... first the amazing Jim Muneco, now Blake...
