Agreed. Especially during her first pre-cartoon-villain years... 1992-1993, Sheila was so captivating and menacing. When she communicated with her mother, you could almost feel sorry for her for her troubled childhood. But at the same time you doubted her every word. Was she saying the truth or was she faking the trauma as well to gaslight everyone? Bill Bell was so good at confusing you like that, at least that's how I felt. Enough said! ❤️ I remember being shocked how meaningless her final storyline was. Comparing it to how epic Caroline's end was... and how many powerful scenes it gave us (one that stands in my mind is how she made Stephanie and Brooke hold hands and forgive each other for one night. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.) Karen was finished in such a sloppy way. I remember she lied to Connor that she was pregnant, then they had this pathetic wedding and then she was gone.

Just for the record I never said Krista Allen was "fired" - I said - "let go". And here is where I based it from. Krista told Deadline that her contract wasn’t renewed when it was up for negotiations in October. “The craziest thing is right before I got dropped, I did the cast photo shoot, and then the next week they called and said, ‘we’re not going to keep your third year and thank you very much, you were wonderful and thank you, goodbye. And I was like, what?” she told Deadline. She continued, “I think the hardest thing for me has been trying to stay quiet. I haven’t known what to say. The only person I used the word fired with is Hunter Tylo and anyone can check that out from her recent podcasts. What I said and where all of this started from was that I had heard there was some drama behind the scenes before Macy was killed off. That's it. I had never said that Bobbie was fired. But should keep their private opinions about me....private since this topic is not a discussion of me. Again, what I read in that article is pretty much consistent with what I was told and that to me was indeed out of the ordinary just ebb and flow of people coming and going for Bold and I considered it behind the scenes drama. I still do. Not anyone telling me that it isn't in their eyes will change that. Seeing what I saw on screen pretty much confirmed it for me.

Then it confirms a lot of the things I was told through the years. The author is Dan Kroll. The founder of Soap Central. I have heard a more spicy version of this from fans, but it's a similar story. "Eakes learned of the casting call for Krystal and asked show execs to be let out of her contract. While under contract to The Bold and the Beautiful, Eakes would be barred from auditioning for another soap. Bell is said to have reluctantly agreed -- and even privately hoped that Eakes would not land the role on All My Children. During a recent photo shoot of the entire B&B cast, Eakes was asked to leave. The request to have the actress leave halfway through the shoot caught many of her co-stars by surprise. The request was apparently made so that Eakes would not appear in publicity photos on the event that she exited the show."

Oh, yes. Karen was a huge misstep. The way they wrote for her didn't suit JJ at all. It was very hard to take after seeing her be front and centre as Caroline and then the same actress was given such scraps in terms of storyline. Didn't work.

God I can't wait to see her.
