  1. Yup, this also made me sad as I just realized this several minutes ago. Honestly, I'd settle for P&G uploading some vintage episodes online on a portal somewhere. Only a few years ago, did I learn that they used AOL as a portal to upload episodes- sorry I missed that and I wished they'd do this again. I just can't believe they're content to do nothing with that collection of episodes- I mean even their most popular/talked about storylines. I keep hoping that something is in the offing sometime in the near future but I think this would be wishful thinking.
  2. Roger's parents are probably enjoying time with the grandkids. Roger left Rafa zero room for errors, especially on Nadal's service games. After that one loooong opening game, which Federer won, he pressured Rafa's serve and eventually his groundstrokes, pushing him back and taking his time away. Rafa seemed as if he was going to garner some success drawing Federer out wide from the baseline making him hit that extra ball, one after another but the problem was eventually Federer would draw the error from Nadal. Well, onto the clay.
  3. In the comments section a few people posted "And so it begins...", to which I want to reply "Folks it's already been happening!" Various Chinese companies have already attempted to acquire chipmaking companies as well as other tech companies, posing some tricky issues for intellectual property, as well as proprietary software and security issues. Moneygram is probably the most visible example of this type of acquisition. @DRW50 That racist commercial is old news, at least to me, it is. Racist stereotypes abound in many Asian countries and have been used to see toothpaste (Japan) to cosmetics and household cleaners. This has very serious implications for the negative connotations and stereotypes these ads perpetuate. Anyone who has any doubt about this should see the violence that African students face in India and Russia, which has been going on for many years. African students hospitalized in roving mob attacks in India Ironically, many Chinese men have gone to majority Black countries and marrying and having children with African women and women of African descent in the Caribbean/Latin America for at least 100 years. In fact, I recently read about a new wave of young male Chinese entrepreneurs who are migrating to African countries and many have remained and married local women.
  4. As a tennis fan, I just hope it's a good quality match. Nothing is more painful to watch than when you're certain that the match is a foregone conclusion, either because one player has beaten the other so many times that the results are predictable or when either player has run out of gas and you get a lopsided match or worst still, both players are "punch-drunk" from too much match play and can barely keep the ball in the court. I'm honestly neutral on the whole Roger vs. Rafa thing. Whoever wins, wins. I just want a great quality match.
  5. A fun little Q&A with Kelly Rutherford posted on a Wellness blog. BE WELL LIVING WITH KELLY RUTHERFORD
  6. Thanks! @ChitHappens @Soapsuds Here's to hoping I can stay consistent. Speaking of unattractive American male tennis players, didn't one of the Harrison brothers get married recently? I admit to scanning Netflix while most of the match was on but from what I've seen Kubot and Melo were in fine form. With all the singles stars, it must be something of a relief to doubles specialists that, in the end, it's more or less doubles guys that come through the tournament and win the championship.
  7. The great thing about Jack is he has motivated me to start working out again after a lengthy hiatus. I just completed a yoga challenge and I'm starting another one tomorrow. I'm going to start increasing the length of my workouts until I build my endurance enough to re-start more vigorous exercise.
  8. Jack and his big belly, er, I mean partner Nick Monroe lost the match against Kubot and Melo.
  9. Maybe they left to feed their prolific drugs habits, LOL.
  10. ...oh, okay, Vee may be #2 then. I heard it on Twitter. Who knows if either will actually show up. Nope more like #5.
  11. I've just clicked onto the Men's Doubles championship. I heard that the Women's championship had a lot of empty seats and I wonder whether this doubles match will have the same or more in attendance. Usually doubles championships tend to not be very well attended unless there are stars in the final. An American team is in the final but I don't know whether that is enough to draw a large crowd.
  12. Glad I didn't waste my time with it. I'm tired of Venus losing to the eventual champion (Australian Open, Indian Wells, Miami Open). Venus needs her serve back in full effect. Except for Serena, the others are basic as hell and Konta is the worst of all. The one silver-lining is that Venus will re-enter the Top 10 on Monday and I think she is #1 in The Road to Singapore (whatever that means) and she's practically defended 85% of the points she earned all of last year already. Hopefully the clay will be kind to her.
  13. April D. Ryan, a skilled experienced journalist who worked her way up from the back of the room to the front, is class personified. For April Ryan, Clashes With the White House Bring a New Kind of Prominence
  14. Fox News' Eric Bolling just inadvertently gave a dynamite endorsement of the Obama presidency
  15. Boris was clearly watching last night's SF between Nick and Roger.
  16. Something that irritates me is that Venus could've used half that energy from the crowd last night, to have a chance at pulling through and those MFs in their seats were so ultra laid back to the point of being slugs! She was on at damn near 11pm at night, 36 with Sjogrens and the crowd was 'too cool for school'. Why couldn't they have heckled Konta's bitchy antics last night?! Nick was pretty stable until the very end when someone called out while the point was still in progress. I don't know who wouldn't be upset with that.
  17. I don't think she cares about how people see her, though. LOL. Oh, I remember Stan, that was funny though. I think the crowd was kind of nasty tonight though. Well, the clay is coming up so, don't despair, LOL.
  18. I had to laugh when the camera caught Mirka whistling/jeering at Nick because he decided to change his racquet in the middle of the game and was taking his time!
  19. He looks like absolute hell.
  20. Obama Officials Made List of Russia Probe Documents To Keep Them Safe
  21. I'm not even going to try to analyze what's going on in this match except to say that if Kei had two good wrists, it would most likely be Rafa vs. Kei right now.
  22. Considering the fact that the Trump administration doesn't even care about Blacks in this country, this news is unsurprising. Trump Eases Combat Rules in Somalia Intended to Protect Civilians
  23. ITA. Unfortunately Venus' game was flat and her confidence sagged in this match. Tennis is tough when your serve goes AWOL and Venus was unable to make up for her MIA serve because she so tentative in her groundstrokes. It was all just an unfortunate mess! Wozniacki vs. Konta in the final?! I'll pass.
