  1. There are few things that tickle the GOP's funnybone more than jokes about collusion, corruption and treason. Yucking it up.

Nobody believes this sh*t. Not even the Saudi 'plants' that are on social media promoting this explanation.

If they insist on keeping those slow as molasses grass courts, then they'd better offer players and spectators an 'escape hatch' from the misery of points without end.

^ I wish we knew what it was about.

Or they could be squabbling over the fact that both are complicit in a white house that has done immeasurable damage and helped create a hellscape for the entire country and perhaps, many parts of the world. And they are each, (as well as the man they support) not worth one damn.

  4. Someone should do a study and see if there is a causal effect of these stories and ratings decline on these networks. I'm just unsure of how these types of stories actually boost ratings when network news has been on a continual slide downward.

  5. I skimmed that tirade, I just didn't have the patience to read it.

Has anyone read this thread?  It's hilarious.  Having said that, I hope that Naomi can attend the premiere.

  6.

Why work so hard at trying to humanize these people?  Why can't these media outlets try to interview the people who are actually suffering because of Trump's awful presidency?  The elderly and young people of color, LGBT, etc. whose lives are being harmed/lost to racist aggression? The people who feel more marginalized than ever after Trump took office.

News outlets like NBC, The Times and even NPR are helping to spread that white male victimization narrative that the likes of Trump and Kavanaugh have capitalized on.

  7. ^^ I saw that yesterday on social media.  Needless to say, how I miss that man!

NBC is once again having to explain its questionable ethics and overall lack of integrity.  I'm glad I stopped watching most programming on NBC years ago.

  8. A meeting that lasted all of 15 minutes.

  9. Yeah, as I was just waking up, I saw the last few games where Zvonareva beat Pliskova.  Vera looks fit!

Sloane, lol.  Clearly the season ends at the USO for her.

Okay, did anyone see the Zvonareva/Pliskova match?  Some people are saying that Pliskova tanked the first set.  People are basically saying something similar about Sloane's efforts (or lack thereof) against Jabeur.

Murray Bartlett (Cyrus, Guiding Light) and Michael Park (Jack, As the World Turns) are slated to be in Netlix's Tales of the City. Olympia Dukakis and Barbara Garrick will reprise their roles from the 90s miniseries.

I remember when the 90s miniseries aired on PBS when I was a teen.  I'll have to keep a look out for this.  Would be great to hear Armistead Maupin's thoughts about this newest iteration.

I hesitate to bother with this, but it's still somehow stunning that 45 just called Stormy Daniels "Horseface" on Twitter. What a day! Goodnight everyone!

Yet people want to chide folks for "bodyshaming" Trump. GMAFB!
