  1. A message for Trump from the people of Missoula, Montana, location of one of his rallies.
  2. Or they could be squabbling over the fact that both are complicit in a white house that has done immeasurable damage and helped create a hellscape for the entire country and perhaps, many parts of the world. And they are each, (as well as the man they support) not worth one damn.
  3. The everlasting mess that is known as the Trump administration. Soon they'll be selling their cabinet's fights on PPV.
  4. Someone should do a study and see if there is a causal effect of these stories and ratings decline on these networks. I'm just unsure of how these types of stories actually boost ratings when network news has been on a continual slide downward.
  5. I skimmed that tirade, I just didn't have the patience to read it. Has anyone read this thread? It's hilarious. Having said that, I hope that Naomi can attend the premiere.
  6. Why work so hard at trying to humanize these people? Why can't these media outlets try to interview the people who are actually suffering because of Trump's awful presidency? The elderly and young people of color, LGBT, etc. whose lives are being harmed/lost to racist aggression? The people who feel more marginalized than ever after Trump took office. News outlets like NBC, The Times and even NPR are helping to spread that white male victimization narrative that the likes of Trump and Kavanaugh have capitalized on.
  7. ^^ I saw that yesterday on social media. Needless to say, how I miss that man! NBC is once again having to explain its questionable ethics and overall lack of integrity. I'm glad I stopped watching most programming on NBC years ago.
  8. In more end of the year coaching carousel news, Maria Sakkari and Thomas Johansson have parted ways.
  9. Oh how could I have missed this searing comment from Colleen?!!
  10. A meeting that lasted all of 15 minutes.
  11. Yeah, as I was just waking up, I saw the last few games where Zvonareva beat Pliskova. Vera looks fit! Sloane, lol. Clearly the season ends at the USO for her. Okay, did anyone see the Zvonareva/Pliskova match? Some people are saying that Pliskova tanked the first set. People are basically saying something similar about Sloane's efforts (or lack thereof) against Jabeur.
  12. Another reason why Republicans are so desperate to remake the courts--they stay losing. Delayed Obama-Era Rule on Student Debt Relief Is to Take Effect
  13. I remember when the 90s miniseries aired on PBS when I was a teen. I'll have to keep a look out for this. Would be great to hear Armistead Maupin's thoughts about this newest iteration.
  14. Yet people want to chide folks for "bodyshaming" Trump. GMAFB!
  15. Interview with Tarana Burke on the anniversary of the #MeToo going viral into the public's consciousness. She Founded Me Too. Now She Wants to Move Past the Trauma.
  16. ^^ It wasn't the U.S. embassy but the State Department that sent this photo out. The U.S. embassy in Australia issued the apology. A reminder though, that the U.S. has been without an ambassador to Australia for two years now. The longest period without an ambassador since WWII.
  17. Aww, literally the cat's pajamas.
  18. I am just so sick of these crooks and their constant conflicts of interest.
  19. If anyone watches that Canadian comedy Schitt's Creek, they would know that Moira Rose, one of the show's main characters is a former soap star. In Season 4, episode 5 (R.I.P. Moira Rose), Moira expresses her concerns over the toll that her mistaken death announcement might have on her friends, admirers and colleagues and as well as having to appear unprepared before a camera crew that spontaneously appeared in front of her residence. One person that she mentions is Sir Tony Geary.
  20. However, I suspect that they will. Trump won't do much of anything, given how on-the-hook his family business is to the Saudis. And the world is clambering once again for Saudi Oil. The U.S. in particular, has moved toward fossil fuels again and Trump, Israel, KSA have all ground the Iran nuclear deal into the dirt, so business between E.U. and Iran is virtually hanging by a thread. Yes, I believe among those 15 Saudis that were flown into Turkey, there was a forensic pathologist among them.
  21. This is a major development.
