lmao, when they told him he would be acting opposite Susan Walters (who is a bigger deal outside of soaps than the lot of them) + he has bills to pay and ain't nobody else calling but Onlyfans of course he signed on the dotted line. 🤣

and what's dumb about it is that the sex-tape isn't even being used as a transformative device for the central characters - I had hopes Joss would be like "whatever" about the sex tape and start to "change" from the attention as she became sort of like a Paris Hilton/Kim K type relishing in the IG/twitter/tik-tok (or whatever GH calls their social media, lol) followers and Cameron was sort of dying from all the embarrassment as his mom Elizabeth was suffering at work from it and the whole ordeal started to grow a rift between them, and the whole thing blowing up to involve the police investigating Trina made Esme draw pause and show some humanity and remorse as she regrets things going this far (instead we see Esme laughing to herself about everything and not caring about the police or Trina looking at a conviction at all). but no, we get none of that. Instead we get a soulless Nelle retread in Esme and Joss/Cam being boring/self-righteous as ever while poor Trina bears the brunt of it all while LITERALLY being a nice person. And nobody cares because she's black and black characters need to suffer for no other reason if not for the color of their skin. freaking YIKES. First she gets the ish scared out of her/attached by Spencer/Esme, and now this. What are these writers on? Honestly. I have never seen a genuinely upright/good character like Trina treated this badly unconditionally over and over again.

the way cell phones work, they should be able to trace the general location/cell phone towers that were used whenever the phone went online at any given moment and whether or not Trina has an alibi/was in another location, completely ruling her out. They should also be able to see what Trina's usage pattern was and then see when/how/if that all changed. if this was a regular case I'm not sure they would bother going that deep, but considering they have Spinelli investigating and the case has become high profile because of all the parties involved I don't see how all that isn't being investigated.

the fight in the interrogation room where Spencer didn't believe Trina seemed very hilarious and out of place given the circumstances Trina has literally been one of the few people that were not going in on Esme (except for recently) to the detriment of her relationship with Joss and Trina has NEVER done something like this or schemed at all and is CONSTANTLY getting on Spencer's case for breaking the law, so yeah... just based on Spencer's own experience with Trina, Spencer's take is VERY shoehorned to put them at odds/create drama. and the turn this story took to pull in the older cast members and especially Esme/Nicolas doesn't seem plotted out. It's like they JUST thought of the turn this story would take. 😂 yeah, they def would not be doing this story in this same way if the OG actress was still there. lol

imo, Trina became a sidekick to TPTB when the OG actress left. I cannot imagine that scene in the interrogation room between Trina/Spencer w/ the OG actress and I certainly don't think they would be putting Trina through a trial if the OG actress was still there - she was just too popular for the show to go this route. Now that she's gone, it's gonna be the Joss/Esme show with Trina existing on the periphery. zZZZ

everything having been a dream wouldn't be a time jump, tho. Like others have said this would be like going backwards. 2 years and some change wouldn't have gone by... they could say Steffy was only in a coma for like a few days/week. LOL

also, a lot of people refer to 2020 as the "lost year" because of covid, so this would take a bit more seriously by deleting 2020-2021. LOL yeah, I'm talking about the recent one where peeps thought Bill hit her. That's probably why Bill even came back, because he was so heavily involved in Steffy's stories back then. But man, it would be even CRAZIER if they deleted like 10 years of story, and Steffy ain't got no kids, and Thomas never went crazy stalker or raped Caroline, and Taylor never shot Bill/went crazy. Holy crap. also, when the Finn actor first came on I remember they were hinting at "huge twists" and whatnot even back then...

Steffy has been in a coma since she was hit by a car and *everything* we have seen since then has been a dream/nightmare? That's why Taylor was "recast"? Didn't KA say one of the reasons why she came on was because when she heard what Taylor's story would be she thought it would be fun/interesting? And the recasting would "make sense" etc? So, it's gonna be a Wizard of Oz kind of thing, where Steffy will wake up and KA will be one of the doctors or nurses working on her with Finn? lol

so... I'm calling it now: Esme is either Sonny/Carley's thought-miscarried baby, Carly/Jax's thought-miscarried baby, Sonny/Lilly's dead baby, or Ava's long-lost daughter... 👀

Diane is probably the most exciting this Y&R has done in years, so I'm sure she'll be back long term if the story leads to better ratings.

the show needs some big ish popping, so we will probably have some natural disaster/event and Ray will be one of the casualties... Tessa and Noah will be trapped together and have sex, etc. that kind of thing. I think B&B taking the top spot in ratings has them rethinking a lot of stories and making big moves... I'm also thinking they're gonna kill f Kevin this year, with GR being on DAYS and all why not let the character go? LOL

he'll be on GH in a few months, imo. Probably gonna be some nemesis to Cameron Mathison who's just floating around aimlessly. LOL

Devil best character on soaps right now, hopefully they get the recognition they deserve come Emmy time.

they had a weird montage moment of Finn+Steffy the other day, and that made me think maybe B&B is gonna make like everything that's happened since Steffy was hit by a car has all been a comatose dream/nightmare? And when Sheila "kills" Steffy we will be transported out of Steffy's mind and she will still be unconscious in the hospital? And that will be when she goes on maternity leave. I mean has any other soap ever deleted over a year's worth of storyline in such a fashion (does Bobby Ewing count?)? They could even have Brooke's dad Patrick Duffy show up out of the blue as a wink/nod... 😂

i feel like MM playing dual roles would actually be amazing, too. And it would be an awesome shock that would be easy to keep secret (like when Lily died on ATWT), and it's been ages since we had twins on a soap. If Y&R really wants to "shake things up" that would be one of the best ways, imo. Because the Hilary/Lily rivalry was one of the best Y&R has had in recent years.

i mean the most he could get was an extra role on It's Always Sunny... so I think he got a reality check. I'm sure Summer will be close behind. LOL

my sister said she read some spoilers that Ridge and Paris' mom are gonna be getting close... so I'm wondering if we're gonna find out Paris' mom and Ridge have a past, and Paris is Ridge's daughter? I guess that would be a big twist...

tbh I find he entire younger set on GH boring as hell, and Trina seemed place-holder af w/ Spencer just keeping the seat warm for Jos/Spencer, that's why she has a rivalry w/ Esme instead of Trina (always seemed strange...)
