To be perfectly honest I think that the Democrats made a mistake when they didn't start looking for someone new right after Biden won in 2020. It's nothing personal against Biden, but there's no getting around the fact that he is 81 years old! There's a lower age limit to become president, and maybe there should be an upper age limit as well. If a 32-year old is considered unsuitable, then maybe a 75-year old should be too.

I agree. I think that, like in 2020, the key is to get as many people as possible to vote. We know that Trump has his vocal and loyal following, but if the Democrats can mobilize enough voters I think (and hope and pray) that it will be enough to beat him.

That's why there's no time to lose. Stop any semblance of infighting, choose someone as quick as possible, close ranks behind them and concentrate everything on beating Trump in November. I'm not kidding when I say that I feel this election could be one of the most important ones in history.

Not the best news, but right now there's no time to dwell on it. The key thing now must be to find someone to run with Kamala against Trump/Vance. Any fallout from all this inside the Democratic Party must wait until after the election is won!
