Happy 85th birthday to original Emmerdale Farm cast member Frederick Pyne!
I spent my Christmas vacation binging "Upstairs Downstairs". Yes, it's 50 years old, the sets are a bit wobbly sometimes and there's no Maggie Smith, yet despite all this it still outshines "Downton Abbey" with ease.
^^ It's like the opposite of the old nursery rhyme, "And then there were none"!!
TCM always have beautiful memorials, and this was no exception. Such a difference compared to the awful stuff we've seen at the Academy Awards in recent years.
