Viki seems needy and neurotic in this period - I don't care for all that about her lies about the heart defect because Joe just can't take the pain. It's all bad melodrama. They should have kept his child with Cathy - imagine the drama that would have provided in later years.

I wonder if they thought Jack had a type - all his love interests who were blonde became brunette. Was this from after Will was killed? I was also going to ask - how did you react at the time to Brian Bodine's recast? I read the exit interview of Borlgheni and he had a big ego at that time, although he made a few humorous comments (he basically said that when he was asked to go to the SOD Awards, he first wanted to know if any ABC executives were going to be there with guns).

This was mentioned in the feud thread at DS. Had you ever heard of this? Neighbours' Sue Jones (Pam Willis) and Terence Donovan (Doug Willis) didn't get on. Janet Andrewartha (Lyn Scully) and Shane Connor (Joe Scully) really didn't get on. Have you heard the rumors that a past character is returning?

I'd only ever seen that photo of her being wheeled in by Helga. I like Brooke and Edmund too, in these clips. It's a shame they made Brooke so weak after this. Do you think the whole Brooke/Tad/Dixie thing was worth it?

I was just wondering because in the shorter August 1992 clip, Dimitri is leaving the hospital holding the hand of a brunette woman in a wheelchair, and Erica looks on uneasily. Was that Angelique? That clip also had a bit of the Carter Jones story I wish I could see.

I wonder if the show was ever toying with a Kendall/Dimitri relationship. I think Dimitri being in the middle was more interesting than later on when various characters mostly just stand around telling Kendall to stay away. In one of the 1992 clips that is up, Angelique is brunette. For some reason I thought she was a blonde.

Yes, I remember him returning then, and for one day when it was confirmed that Kit was Christine. I wasn't sure if there was some other issue. I like Daniel Hugh Kelly but it's weird seeing him as Travis. I wish they'd cast him in a new role.

The scenes in the August 94 episode with Bianca and Erica are so beautiful and so tender. What was going on with Adam and Stuart at this time? Ugh I hate that Charlie being in the middle of it, dressed like Wonder Bread. Why did Larkin Malloy not return at this time?

Erica's dress in that August clip is the same dress she had on when she and Brooke argued at Brooke's place in 1991. Never let it be said Erica always wore a different dress. I wonder if Mona had this cancer story around the same time Frances had cancer.

I still can't believe anyone would buy Cain as three people - it's just a man in silly facial hair/wigs and a bad accent. It kind of cracks me up remembering Gottlieb's comment that when she arrived, Wanda and Viki dressed too much alike - I actually briefly thought Viki was Wanda in this clip.

I just don't trust Eastenders to not try Phil/Sharon again, especially since Shirley is basically his lapdog. I do hope that if she returns it wouldn't happen. I'd like to see her again. I also wish they could bring the Osmans back.
