  1. Bitch Julie was one of the only things I enjoyed on GL in 1994. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hkYtD5WZ7E
  2. Bill Roache seems to be losing it. http://metro.co.uk/2013/03/19/coronation-street-actor-bill-roache-sex-attack-victims-bring-it-on-themselves-through-past-sins-3548446/
  3. That's why I recognize her. Scary times. She knows what to say and when to say it because she's always right; you can't really see the mask slip.
  4. I've known so many people like Faye. It's a little scary. That just wears you down and drains you. She's very good at it though, points to her.
  5. Thanks, Ben. You said it better than I could.
  6. I don't watch that show, not at the moment anyway, but it's always great to hear Alicia's going to be on something.
  7. Promo at the start. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnwMai4JldI
  8. Thanks. Maybe he'll have a nude scene.
  9. A little of Lisa Rinna filling in for Kathie Lee on the Today Show (not watching Celebrity Apprentice, as it involves Trump). The reaction when she curses is hilarious. http://blog.zap2it.com/pop2it/2013/03/lisa-rinna-discusses-her-lip-trouble-on-the-today-show.html Rachel Miner (the only real Michelle Bauer to me on GL) is popping up on Supernatural Wednesday night as Meg the demon; she's been on there on a recurring basis since 2009 or so; her last appearance was almost a year ago so not sure if she's just coming back to wrap her story up.
  10. I've watched clips and parts of Atlanta episodes, just not all the way from the start. I know I can watch quickly online I just end up waiting for Netflix for whatever reason.
  11. They also have a few 1961 episodes on that channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXJIf2rKfLE Ena was at her nastiest in this era. Great to watch but not nice. The second episode they put up from 1961 is Len's first.
  12. Netflix has the first season of Atlanta available so I'm finally going to watch that soon.
  13. Please do upload that Loving stuff. A few of us will love you forever.
  14. I've seen a lot more of her as Lila than as Ava but I enjoyed both. I do think Cass/Lila were a great match. I wish we'd gotten a little more of her but then considering what AW was in 1996, with women there for the slaughter, maybe it's for the best she didn't arrive until a little later.
  15. Thanks so much. Lisa looks beautiful in those photos. I had a real fondness for Lila and Lila/Cass.
  16. Thanks for those links. A few more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcD_sCS5lQU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8gqxEh9EOM I actually enjoyed most of the questions in this Kirman ep. 14 interview, instead of just seeing the interview as a douchey kissass, as I often do with EW. These interviews have comic spoilers which means they might pop up on the show. http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/03/17/walking-dead-robert-kirkman-andrea-the-governor/ http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/walking-dead-spoilers-robert-kirkman-prey-andrea-governor-428894
  17. Kyle looks a little like she went in asking for a Demi Moore and they gave her a Rachel Dratch.
  18. Seems a little inflated (usually the response depends on how the question was asked), but there's a new poll out showing 58% support gay marriage. With results like that, no wonder some of the GOP elites are awkwardly dancing around the issue. The most interesting part is the response that suggests people are tired of state resolutions, and that supporters now have a stronger intensity. The latter might mean that anti-gay ballot measures are less likely to pass, as we saw in 2012. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/03/poll-tracks-dramatic-rise-in-support-for-gay-marriage/ http://www.politico.com/story/2013/03/poll-58-percent-back-gay-marriage-89025.html?hp=l1 Hillary Clinton has also announced her support. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2013/03/18/hillary-clinton-comes-out-in-support-of-gay-marriage/
  19. I remembered they lived together but for some reason forgot they weren't married. I wonder if any of the women stay in contact with her.
  20. Last year, when I watched the first season of OC, I was most struck by the scenes where Lauri and a friend of hers wore sexy lingerie to go to some Hugh Hefner party, and they essentially said they needed to sell themselves in order to keep going. I remember thinking that it was far more honest a portrayal than you'd get on a lot of these shows. I wonder if now they shy away from that much honesty. I also thought Slade and his wife were fake, fake, fake, contrived. I still can't believe he's been on there ever since.
  21. Thanks. That's one of those stories I don't know much about. Porter had returned to AW briefly for Mac's funeral in summer 1989. I guess someone at NBC must have seen him and gave him a quick role on DAYS.
  22. http://prospect.org/article/toxic-masculinity Thanks for the link. I agree with much of what they say. I'm glad they brought up Zerlena Maxwell, who has been the subject of unbelievably vile racial slurs and death threats.
  23. Ugh ugh ugh ugh. I expect nothing less from CNN and Candy Crowley but it still tells you how far the media has gone. This is their reaction to the Steubenville rape case. http://www.theatlanticwire.com/national/2013/03/cnns-not-only-one-peddling-sympathy-steubenville-rapists/63204/
