It was announced at least a month ago, but I'm very happy to see that a fourth volume for Emmerdale Farm is being released August 27, 2012! They must be selling marginally well, right? A description of what to expect ... Joe and Carol's romance; the recently bereaved Matt Skilbeck's ongoing struggle to bring up the twins; the arrival of George Verney's young nephew, Mark, and subsequent conflict with Mark's father; the combined efforts of Jack, the Rev. Ruskin and Dr Scott to help recalcitrant widower Charlie Nelson; and local victory in the annual Beckindale vs. Robblesfield cricket match.

I NEED to see this movie. Channing Tatum looks better than ever, Alex Pettyfer is a dreamboat and BIG DADDY COOL (Kevin Nash) is in it, too!!! This movie will be hilarious, one way or another.

Ben's exit is excellent news. Him murdering Heather made my day and I'm happy to read that his stay won,t be extended illogically. Assuming he probably won't be gone until the fall when Derek's contract is up with the show, I hope he Derek learns his secret and Ben is found out after murdering Derek as well. Alls well that ends well.

I, too, am shocked at the mention of Mike having a girlfriend. I'm sure this Sharon was extremely minor as a character, but I always believed the Trish/Linda story was Mike's first foray into relationships. I wonder if Sharon might have been mentioned during that story. Carl, I'm not positive, but I think Burt worked for Anderson Manufacturing. I also believe he and Mary were once engaged. The real delight in these synopses are the small details never mentioned before, such as David being in military school and Mary having left for South America. Is it too hopeful of me to wish that Carol returns without the children? With her on her own, it would be quite interesting to see who'd she interact with.

When it comes to looks, they are certainly nice to look at, so at least there's that. It's better than the frat boy type like Tyler, which always unsettles me. Regarding Whitney, I can't speak for the pedophile story, but she certainly was a great character to watch during the prositution story. I never understood why it fizzled out so badly.

It definately should have been Tyler instead of Anthony, but if Alvin says is true (crosses fingers) I hope Fatboy isn't too far behind. And since Jamie Foreman just extended his contract to October, which seems very specific to me, I'm hopefuly presuming that a murder mystery is in the works. Joey looks like an Anthony Moon look alike. How odd.

Not to hijack the thread, but you really only should watch the first generation (Series 1 and 2). I tried watching the 2nd generation for Effy, but it was absolutely wrteched. Anyway, I wonder when Jon's sexuality plot will come to a head. I forget, do we know if he's a virgin or not? I think it was Julia who mentioned that there was another bisexual character that has yet to be revealed. Snow seems like the most obvious choice. As for Theon, I do not hate him for his betrayal. His character's desperate yearning for respect leaves him sympathetic in my eyes.

You need to go watch the first two series of SKINS right now. You'll be blown away by how different he is there. I didn't even realize it was the same actor until I looked it up. And was Ygritte, Gwen, from Downton Abbey?

Yeah, being from Toronto, it's pretty big news here. Wheels was almost like a tragiheroine type of character for Degrassi, but a male character obviously. It's really sad he seemed to have a lot of demons for a lot of his own life. The next time I run into "Joey Jeremiah", as he lives in the same town as I do, I'll be sure to give him my condolences.

Kristina Wagner looks pretty good. Good to see she hasn't sawed her face or let herself go. Felecia will always be one of my favourite heroines, and I do hope I'll get to see them on GH on last time before the end.

I was hoping the affair would have been Nikki and Jack. Billy just proved again how much of a selfish, soulles, ass he has always been under Billy Miller's terrible reign. Bring back David Tom!!!

I never realized how screwed up Lou Beale's family history actually is after all these years. I really want to start collecting those Hugh Miller novels to understand all the backstory.

Burned faces will hopefully lead to Davetta Sherwood and Heather Tom. Phyllis screams will hopefully be the last of that hideous slag. However, I like that Sam is an actuall good guy and enjoy him and Sharon together. I hope he survives. The deaths of Jeffrey, Angelo and Genevieve are very much welcomed. I like Chance and John Driscoll as well. I hope this means he'll be getting some good story.
