I have no idea. I blame being wrapped up in reading Corrie book character bios.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
I've found myself on Corrie-pedia reading the biographies of the book characters never before seen. I find them so fascinating and even shocking. Daran Little did not let up on these people.

I couldn't find an article, but Graham Norton will be having an EastEnders 30th anniversary episode of his show in Febraury. In the blurb on the BBC website, it says it will include past and present stars of the show. I've seen every episode of Graham and watch every week (and have seen what I could of his previous shows), so I'm doubly excited by this. For his current show, the only EE stars I remember being on are Barbara Windsor, Jessie Wallace and Letitia Dean. Wallace is probably a definite, but I wonder who else he'll get.

Carl, I try my best to stay away from story spoilers as much as I can. Watching the shows (I watch all 4, plus Shorty) are much more fun that way, especially brilliant Emmerdale.

Elliott is the one from Shameless. I like him, but I chose the avatar more for the short film it represents called Protect Me from What I Want. It was on dailymotion when I watched it a few months ago. You should check it out if you can find it. The Daz thing annoys me, too. The character last year was Dan's brother, played by Mark Jordon, who was awful. The sad thing about Ali is that the actress is great, but she's stuck with such a lifeless character. Being with wooden, charmisma-less Ruby doesn't help at all. Neither did the nonsensical one night stand with Dan story that didn't amount to anything. Rakesh was in the second episode tonight.

Of all the things I imagined about Rachel's whereabouts, I love that this fantastic show flipped the script and had the shocker be that Jai has had a fake Archie this whole time. It couldn't have happened to a better bastard.

Man tonight was just a horrible mess in an example of the worst in melodrama. Carl, you would have ripped your face off.

I read on DS that if two men are in bed, one of them has to have a shirt on, like Aaron did in the barn. If that's truly the case I think if the writers could go farther, they absolutely would. I'm so happy to hear you've come around about Ross and Michael Parr. I'm not the biggest Rachel fan, but I never outright disliked her. Her pairing with Sam finally made him relevant again and she was a complete after thought before she slept with Jai and spurned this amazing journey of a story.

Bon voyage Dodger Savage! You were one of the last big hit characters this show introduced. You and Texas were one of the best couples in modern soap history. But then you had to get stuck in a chemistry-less pairing with Maxine and story that never, ever ended. no matter how many people got blown up and kidnapped. I'll always have fond memories of you, but I won't miss you for a good while. It was time and now I hope Theresa, Maxine and Sienna will be free to do something fresh and interesting. With Patrick still around, I won't hold my breath for the latter two, but Theresa has a more solid shot. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Charity finally lost! She is my favourite, but she needed this hit or else she would have become a cartoon villain. It was obvious for months that Emma Atkins was pregnant, which is always fun to see how a show will cover that up. When she returns, the character will be rested and I'll be ready for her to lie, cheat and steal back her throne. And the show won't lose any momentum at all with Rachel having returned. Brilliant pacing, something EastEnders and Hollyoaks desperately need a lesson on. And poor Pearl. The mini werewolf story was cute. Gabi, who will need to recast soon with a proper actress (maybe next year?) is going to be a pure hellion for Laurel, Ashley and Bernice.

In random news: James McKenzie Robinson (Joe Johnson) will guest on season 5 of Game of Thrones. Going by his IMDb, this will be his return to TV after a handful of years. Joe Johnson was the long lost son of Jill Patrick (Jack's second wife, who died from a brain tumour). He was only on briefly in a story where he and his twin sister, Kate Patrick, eventually fell in love and knowing they obviously couldn't be together left town separately.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread

Emma Barton, the woman who I referred in my last post, is the long lost mother of Pete, Ross and Finn Barton. James is their father. He is also the father (discovered last year) of Adam Barton. Today's episode should help you out.- Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
Jesus Christ, Winnie the Pooh is the absolute worst thing to have to endure. Why are they ruining Gail so hard by chaining her to this boring schmuck? She used to be one of my favourites, but now I can't stand to watch her burn my eyes out with that stupid dollop of a man. She better not end up marrying him because Gail Rodwell is not something I would ever be able to stomach. This heart condition stuff better be for real, because his death would taste so, so good.- Shortland Street
So happy my show is back! Thank God Dallas' makeover came and went quickly. It was horrifying and offensive to make such a beautiful man so completely unappealing. This Pania chick may be getting in line to become the new schemer of the show now that Queen Brooke is gone. She is super shady, but it's understandable since it's all about TK. That man is pure sex. Rachel is such a boss having Garrett as her toyboy. If more women were like her, they would easily rule the world in a heartbeat. Now, if Nicole doesn't wake up from her damn coma, I will be a mess. Harper not going to see her out of respect for Vinnie was a nice touch. Another strong woman. The end of today's episode was so damn good too with TK crashing her first date with Boyd to tell her that he doesn't want to lose her. That is awkward soapy goodness I can take over and over. I can't remember the last time I saw a slap on this show, but I was damn happy to see Ula haul off on Honour. That was a good firm slap and much needed and this being Shorty, it's actually a big deal and not something people just due to blow of steam. And then there's Kylie being careless Kylie. I hope she never stops being such a mess.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Is it too soon to say that Emma Barton is the best new character of 2015? She clearly still hasn't gotten over the loss of her beloved David Grant.- DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
