Forty five minutes later, Carly grabs her things and gets in the car. Nervously she turns the key and calls Nikolas. "So how are all three of my babies?" Nikolas asks, in an effort to get Carly in a good mood.

It does the trick. "Well, I think our little boy is a mood tonight! He is rolling around and doing lots of kicking. Our little girl though, she is the feisty one. She too is kicking as usual. She never stops. It's like a soccer game in here" Carly smiles, thinking off her children and looks into the rear view mirror.

Nikolas' smooth voice comes over the line. "Obviously, our little girl takes after you."

"Of course she does!" Carly laughs. The two continue to talk as Carly drives. Nikolas is doing a really good job keeping her calm. "Where are you Carly?"

Looking into the mirror again, Carly sees a car turn from a side road and is several car length behind her. She pays no attention to it.

Since Alan's heart attack, Monica has been coming to the Cardiac Care Unit to get updates on Alan and to visit with him. She hates to think of him as lonely. She will chat with him about what is going on in the world and tell him how Emily finally hugged her. She hasn't been able to tell him about their breakthrough, but hopes it will lead to more civil interactions between them. Monica opens up the door and kisses his smooth cheek. She's grateful that someone, probably AJ or Ned is shaving for him. Then she grasps his hand and rubs it against her cheek. "Good morning my love." Monica whispers to her husband.

"It's another day honey and again you are here. I really hope you can hear me. Emily hugged me the other day. It's the first time she's hugged me since she's been back home. It felt so good to be comforted by our daughter. Oh Alan, she is so beautiful, but so angry at me. I know that I deserve her anger, I deserve everyone's anger." Monica sighs. "On the plus side, AJ and I are making inroads. We have been talking a lot and he regrets a lot of what he has done in the past. You know, Carly has allowed Michael to come see you."

Monica pauses as tears start to form in her eyes. She waits until the tears subside. "Michael actually wants to see you." Monica stands up and takes a look at Alan's chart. She is happy that David is the doctor for Alan, she may not like him, but he is the best cardiologist in the East. She sits down next to him and fills him in on Robin's pregnancy as well as Carly's. She then looks out the window.

Maxie and Anna stand up as the doorbell rings and the guests start to arrive. As grandfather of the new baby, Noah was the first to arrive. Noah feels a little uncomfortable being around everyone, but Anna goes out of her way to assure Noah that he'll enjoy himself. Mac walks over and apologizes for what happened with Bobbie. Noah tells him no apologies needed. Mac had a job to do, and he did it. The two men shake hands and agree to have a good time.

Lainey and Kelly arrived as well as Steven and Elizabeth with Blake. Lucky & Emily came soon after followed by Epiphany, Lucy, David, Ned, and Jax. People were starting to mingle and catch up with one another.

Emily hugs Elizabeth and the two begin to catch up. Elizabeth asks how Lucky is doing following their divorce. Emily says he's doing ok. It appears as if he's moving on with his life. Elizabeth gazes over at Lucky, who looks back at her. Their eyes meet for a few seconds, before they both break away and return to their respective conversations. Emily suggests Liz do the same thing. If there's one thing that came from their divorce, it's that they decided to be civil for Cameron's sake. Emily hopes through that bond, they will be able to become friends again. For now, Emily wants to know all about Elizabeth's friend Blake.

Jax heads over to the bar area and is shortly joined by Anna. "Should I put my number on a milk carton?" She asks sarcastically. "It's that it's lost. Have you seen it?"

Jax nervously smiles. "Maybe I would have called if I had known you were interested. See, I don't like being used to make others jealous Commissioner." Jax says referring to Anna's flirtations with Lorenzo. "I'm not stupid. I know you have a thing for him. I'm finished dating women with an attraction to those in the underworld." Jax excuses himself and walks away from Anna, leaving her speechless. It's not every day someone resists her charms. But he's got a point.

"They're here!" Maxie yells excitedly. "Everyone get ready."

The guests in the house lower their voices and anxiously await the arrival of Robin and Patrick. The doorbell rings, Maxie lets them in and everyone yells surprise! Brenda & Maxie hi-five each other, smiling at a job well done. Anna & Mac exchange glances, smiling after seeing the happy look on Robin's face. The two of them deciding to call a truce was worth seeing Robin glowing.

Back at the hospital, Monica lets several minutes pass before she starts to speak, "I made such a mistake when I had my affair with Kevin. I don't know what came over me. I guess a part of me missed being wanted the way he wanted me. You and I were have so many problems that I forgot the things that made you and I so great. Ever since your heart attack, I've thought about all of the good moments we've had. When I think about all of the crap we've put each other through, it makes me wonder how we could have ever loved each other."

Monica leans back in her chair and smiles. "But with every bad memory, there is one that is just as better. Like the night before my cancer surgery, I was so afraid that no one would want to ever be with me. But you, you made me feel like such a beautiful woman that night. Monica flashes back to the night before her cancer surgery….

    <object width="325" height="255"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Tears form in her eyes as she stands up. "How could I have been so stupid?" She says to herself angrily. "I have to get back to work now my love. Please know that in all my heart, I want those times back with you. I love you with all my heart. I will ALWAYS love you, forever and always!"

Monica starts to weep. She puts her head on his chest and whispers over and over again that she loves Alan. "Monicaaaaaa" Alan whispers as his eyes start to focus….

Carly relaxes a little after being so stressed about driving. Her fear of driving is quite rational. For years she believed her best friend died in a tragic car accident…and accident that left Carly with a great fear of driving. Then there's the accident from a few years ago. Nikolas being on the phone with her really eased her fears.

"I am going up the hill before the bridge. I should be there in about five minutes or so. Why?"

Nikolas laughs sexily. "I'm walking out to the terrace now. Maybe I'll see you driving by. I have a wonderful surprise for you.

"You better!" Carly accelerates to get up hill. She reaches the crest of the hill and starts to go down. She starts to brake and realizes that there is no tension in her brake and she is in fact, gaining speed. "Nikolas..." Fear starts to edge into her voice. "Something is wrong with the car."

The scene cuts back to the Scorpio household. Everyone is in the backyard eating and enjoying themselves. Mac asks for everyone's attention so he can make a toast.

"There comes a time in every man's life where he has to accept some truths. Robin, you have been like a daughter to me. I've cared for you since you were a young teenager and I've watched you grow into a wonderful, beautiful woman….and a talented physician. I've seen you through the best of times, and through the worst of times. From first boyfriends, to first heartaches, and now…." Mac chokes back his tears. "Now you're going to be a mother. It thrills me to see you so happy." Mac hugs Robin and turns to Patrick. "You make Robin happy, and that's enough to win me over. To Robin & Patrick…and the life they created!"

Everyone toasts to Robin & Patrick. A loud plane flies overhead. Something in the sky catches Anna's attention. "What in the hell?"

Someone in a parachute drops in from the sky dressed in all black. The person slowly begins taking off the chute and the helmet.

The scene alternates between the expressions of Mac, Anna & Robin.

    "Oh…." Mac begins.

    "My…." Anna continues…

The person finally takes off the helmet. "Dad?!!!" Robin asks confused as hell.

"There can't be a party without me." Robert says cheerfully with his thick Australian accent. "Come give daddy a hug!"
    <HR>
The scene shifts to Nikolas standing on the terrace of Wyndemere. "You are almost here Carly! Are you on the bridge yet?"

"Yes and I can't stop!" Carly turns her head and sees the black sedan coming faster and is right behind her. The sedan is very close to her. Panic rushes through her body as she yells, "Get the hell away from me!" The car nudges her, sending her car dangerously forward. "What the! Oh my God!" She is able to control the car as she yells out to Nikolas.

Nikolas is seen gripping the phone, panic written all over his face. "Carly, what is going on? CARLY!!!! Talk to me damn it! Are you ok?"

Nikolas hops over the edge of the terrace and runs to the Cliffside of Spoon Island. From the distance, he can see a clearer view of the bridge. Back at the bridge, again the car hits Carly's and sets her out of control in a spin. Carly unbuckles her seatbelt. She tries to shoulder her door open but is hit again. The force knocks her forward, causing her to bang her head on the steering wheel. The black sedan crashes into her car yet again. The scene shifts to her car slowly going off the bridge.

    Cut to black……

Has the Writer's Strike Affected mySON TV networks?
    Written by: Striking Writer

If you've checked out the mySON TV network as of late, you will have noticed the changing landscape of the blog scene. Eight shows have appeared to have halted production since November. Could there be behind the scenes changes on the horizon? Have the showrunners pulled the blog on their soaps? Or have some of the head writers on mySON TV chosen to strike with the guild brethren?

Many mySON TV writers are believed to be members of the Blog Writers Guild Association/Fan Fiction Guild Association (FFGA/BWGA), though many believe it doesn't exist. Some shows, through their respective production companies (SONBC and SONOP) have made deals with the Guild to continue production. Other shows, such as "Port Charles," "Cuffs," and "Genoa City" have yet to do so.

    More on this to come.......

Emily opened her briefcase and took it out. Thomas reached for it and started to flip the pages, glancing through it. When their drinks arrived, he took a sip and leaned back nonchalantly in his chair. “Tell me Ms. Quartermaine, you just joined ELQ, is that correct?”

“A few months ago Thomas. And please, call me Emily. It’s the family business and I felt that it was time I joined.” Emily replied, folding her hands in front of her.

“Hmm.” Thomas stared at her, his hazel eyes piercing hers. He tossed the proposal down on the table. “Tell me Emily,” He picked up his martini and coolly took a sip. “Why couldn’t Tracy be here today?”

Emily returned his gaze and held it. “Mr. Cain, this is my project and I think that you will find that it benefits both you and ELQ. I think...”

Thomas cut her off. “You think or you know? You should know what the benefits are as well as any consequences of this potential merger are Ms. Quartermaine. I do hope you know what they are but before we go any further, where did you get your MBA from?”

Stunned, Emily didn’t know how to answer. “My MBA?”

“You heard me. What school did you get your MBA from?” Thomas repeated slowly.
Emily gathered herself together, “I don’t have an MBA Mr. Cain, I have a medical degree. Up until a few months ago, I was studying to become a doctor. I have since decided to join the family company.” Emily replied trying very hard to stay in control.

Thomas let a quick smile flash across his handsome face. He was enjoying sparring with Emily and watching her become flustered. “So with your medical degree and limited knowledge of the business world you think that one of my companies should merge with ELQ based on what? How to properly get an IV into my arm on one try? Forgive me Ms. Quartermaine when I say that I don’t have much confidence in you.”

Dr. Kelly Lee walked out of the locker room and threw her stethoscope around her neck. She had a lot of patients scheduled for the day and she wanted to make sure that she could schedule an appointment with Dr. Ford. She was worried about Robin too and wanted to sneak over to her apartment during her lunch break if she could.

“Hey Kelly!” Lainey called to her, “Wait up.”

Kelly stopped and smiled as her best friend approached. “How are you Lainey? I’m sorry that I didn’t call you back last night but I was working on a proposal.”

Lainey regarded Kelly with a shrewd look. “I take it then that you haven’t heard the news.”

“What news?” Kelly asked as she started walking towards the elevators, Lainey following.

Lainey took a deep breath. “Word around the hospital is that Nikolas Cassadine walked into the board meeting and pulled the Cassadine money from the hospital. They are no longer funding the hospital.”

Kelly stopped short. “Are you kidding me? How can he do that?”

“He just walked in and did it. You know that the Cassadines are the hospitals largest benefactor. Now, almost half the money funding this hospital is gone.” Lainey explained. “I would be making sure your resume is up to date because we may be looking for jobs.”

Kelly looked stunned. “I just, I just can’t believe this. I know he is still grieving for the loss of his son, but what about the care of everyone else in the hospital? I just can’t believe this.”

Lainey hugged her friend, who was obviously despairing over the news. “Look, there’s Dr. Ford. Ask him what’s going on. Because everything I heard was rumor. Let’s go to the source and ask.” She paused, “Dr Ford, can we talk to you for a minute?”

Dr. Ford came over and said, “Drs. I only have a moment. What can I do for you?”

“Is this horrible rumor about Nikolas Cassadine pulling the Cassadine money from the hospital true?” Kelly asked fury in her eyes.

Dr. Ford sighed. “I’m not going to lie to you. Unfortunately it is true.”

At the PCU campus, the students are thrilled that school is ending a week early as a gift to 95% of the students getting on the Dean's List. Lucas stops by the Student Resource Center to pick up some information regarding some summer programs when he runs into Dante Brennan. The two exchange pleasantries and make their separate ways….

    4 months earlier…..

Dante pulls Lucas into a passionate kiss with his right arm and he begins unbuckling Lucas' pants with his left. The room around them is a complete mess. A lamp his been knocked over, one of the tables have been broken, paintings and pictures have been knocked off the walls. After months of dancing around their attraction, they have both admitted they feel something for one another. And of course after a night of hard partying, the next step is to hook up right?

After leaving the club together, the two headed back to Harbor View Towers where Lucas is living. The moment they walked through the door, the boiling sexual tension EXPLODED. A drunken Lucas kissed Dante and pressed his back up against the wall, kissing lips, feeling on his chest and running his hands across the front of Dante's pants. Not wanting to allow Lucas to lead this experience, Dante takes control and picks Lucas up (Lucas' legs wrapped around Dante's waist).

They bump into tables, break the lamp and knock pictures off the wall as they make their way upstairs to the bedroom. Once upstairs, the two kiss more and spin around before falling onto the bed. Lucas pulls himself away from Dante in order to catch his breath and make sure Dante is really up for this. Dante reassures Lucas this is what he wants. Lucas strips down to his boxers, as does Dante. After admiring one another's physiques, they begin kissing again.
    <HR>
Emily was angered by this smug and conceited man across from her in his Armani suit who was speaking to her so condescendingly. “I have spent numerous hours studying the pros and cons of a partnership between our companies and I have outlined them in that proposal to you. If you would take a moment to look through it, you will see that I am right when I say that the merger will be beneficial to both of us.”

Thomas finished his martini and threw a fifty on the table. “If ELQ wants to do business with me, I want to speak to someone who is out of the intern program. I don’t care if your last name is Quartermaine. I won’t even consider this” He pointed to the proposal, “until I speak face to face with either Tracy or A.J. It was a pleasure Emily, but you should go back to the hospital.” Emily watched angrily as Thomas walked confidently through the lobby and pushed the button for the penthouse.
    <HR>
    4 months earlier…continued…..

The anticipation of what's to come has the two as excited as ever. Lucas slowly pulls down Dante’s boxers, exposing his rock hard shaft and begins to get to work. Dante moans in ecstasy as Lucas does exactly what Dante wants. Dante’s body begins to tense up, he begins to become overwrought with euphoria, and Lucas removes himself at the right time. Dante pulls Lucas into a deep passionate kiss and returns the favor to Lucas.

The two decide to do a bit more, but want to make sure they’re safe before they do it. Lucas reaches into his dresser and pulls out a roll of condoms. Dante hits the light as the scene fades to black….

    Present day…..

Things have been more than awkward between Lucas and Dante since that night of extreme passion. Dante began to withdraw from Lucas, avoiding him in public and not taking any of Lucas’ calls. Lucas is no stranger to rejection, but truly felt Dante was a different person. He knows there’s a lot more to this than what Dante is letting on, and he’s determined to find out what it is. He refuses to be Dante’s dirty little secret.
    <HR>
Anger spewed from Kelly. “How could you let this happen Dr. Ford! I can’t understand why someone would do something like this that would potentially hurt so many other people! Last night, I researched and wrote up a proposal for funding for the neonatal unit. Mostly because of Robin and because of him and Carly! And he goes and does something like this, I’m sorry Dr. Ford for getting so angry but I am.”

“Unfortunately until we are able to acquire further funding I can’t even look into any proposals Dr Lee. Now if you will excuse me.” Dr Ford nodded and walked away.

Lainey looked at Kelly with sympathy. She knew where she was coming from. “Kelly, you know you are my best friend but right now, we can’t be yelling at the Chief of Staff. We have to think of ourselves too.”

Kelly sighed and punched the up button for the elevator. “I know. But if Nikolas Cassadine was here right now I would give him a piece of my mind.”

The door opened and Elizabeth walked out. “Hey guys. What did Nikolas do to make you so upset?”

Lainey sighed and looked at Liz. “So you didn’t hear either.”

Elizabeth shook her head as Kelly held the elevator door open. “Your ex brother in law took away the funding for the hospital.”

Elizabeth’s jaw dropped in disbelief. “Are you kidding me?”

Lainey shook her head. “I wish.”

Elizabeth is stunned to hear this news. “I haven’t spoken to Nikolas in a long time, but I’m sure there’s more to this. Let me talk to him. Maybe I can convince him to change his mind.

“I hope you can. Because if you can’t, there are going to be a lot of people adversely affected by this situation. A lot of really good people.” Kelly pats Liz on the shoulder and walks away, the only thing on her mind is how this will affect Robin.

Elizabeth walked up to the bar at Jake’s and ordered a beer. She was in the mood to hang out with Emily. Things at the hospital were so tense and everyone was walking on eggshells. Elizabeth needed a friend tonight because she felt so strung out she thought she was going to snap. Finally Emily walked through and threw herself on a chair.

“Hey Coleman, I’ll have what she is having and a shot of tequila.” Emily said. “It’s been one of those weeks.”

“Tell me about it.” Elizabeth smiled at her red haired friend. “Coleman, you may as well pass the bottle to us.” Coleman smiled and left the bottle on the bar. “How have you been Em?”

Emily scowled. “Work is ugh and I don’t really feel like talking about it. How are things at the hospital? Everyone was be freaking out.”

Elizabeth downed her shot and shook her head. “You could say that again. It’s like if someone does something wrong we are going to be fired. No excuses, no second changes. It’s like they’re just looking for a reason to get rid of us to cut the budget. It sucks.”

“I’m glad my parents aren’t here because Alan would be stressing so much. And he doesn’t need another heart attack.” Emily said, taking a swig from her bottle. “We decided not to tell Alan and Monica about it.”
“That’s a good idea.” Elizabeth pushed her hair out of her face in frustration. “Emily, you should have seen Nikolas when I went to go confront him. It was like he was a different person. He was so cold and arrogant. Like he could care less. It was like talking to a brick wall. He is not the Nikolas that we knew when we were growing up that’s for sure.”

“Do you think Carly has something to do with this? Maybe she told him to pull funding.” Emily commented.

“I don’t think so.” Elizabeth said as she shook her head, “As much as I dislike Carly, I get the feeling that this is all his idea. Bobbie could be out of a job when she gets out of jail, and I don’t think that Carly would do that. For as many faults that Carly has, she loves her children very much. What would happen if something were to happen to one of her kids? She would never forgive Nikolas for this, never.” Elizabeth said vehemently.

“You have a point.” Emily replied. “She probably doesn’t even know. She’s been cooped up on that damn island ever since….well…you know. Laura would be so ashamed of Nikolas.”

Elizabeth laughed sarcastically. “Let’s just say that when I talked to him, it was clear that he was not the Nikolas we all love.”

    “Why do you say that?”

“He seemed to forget that I had two miscarriages. He didn’t even flinch when I mentioned it. Seriously Em, He is getting to be angrier with each passing day. I have never heard him be so…so, rude and cold. He was so smug that I wanted to slap him.” Elizabeth paused to take a shot and grabbed some chips. “But that wouldn’t be the right thing to do.”

Emily looked astonished. She couldn’t believe that this man that Elizabeth was telling her about was once someone she loved. “I can’t believe that Nikolas is acting like this. Maybe I should go see him.”

Elizabeth finished off her beer. “It won’t help. I think he’s past the point of caring.”

Carly couldn’t breathe. She looked into the crib and saw that Victoria was asleep. She felt relieved for that but she lost John. Where was John? She ran down to her and Nikolas’ room and looked to see if Nikolas had John in there. Nikolas wasn’t there and Carly ran for the stairs. Panic flew through her as she almost fell down the stairs in her hurry to find her baby. She found Nikolas in the study but the baby wasn’t there.

“Where is he Nikolas, where is my baby?”

“Victoria is asleep. You just put her down and I thought you were going to take a nap yourself.” Nikolas said, standing up from behind his desk. “Is she ok?”

Carly looked at Nikolas fretfully. “I know Victoria is fine. It’s John. Where is he? I can’t find him and I thought he was with you.” Carly wrung her hands.

Nikolas hurriedly walked around the desk and grasped Carly by the arms. He spoke quietly. “Carly, John is gone. You know that.”

“Nnnnoooooo!!!!” Carly screamed, backing away and pointing her finger as Nikolas. “No don’t you say that. My baby boy is alive and you took him away didn’t you? Tell me where he is!” Carly’s voice kept rising until it was almost a scream.

“Carly its ok.” Nikolas said soothingly. “I miss him every single moment of every single day. But you have to accept the fact that John is gone.” Nikolas walked forward with his arms out to hug Carly but she backed away.

“You’re lying!” Carly hysterically yelled, as she knocked over a tray of drinking glasses and a pitcher of water. “He’s out there somewhere. I need him. Give me back my baby!”

“Mommy?” Morgan’s voice could be heard over the sound of breaking glass.

Carly whipped around, tears streaming down her face. “Morgan?” she whispered.

    “Mommy you’re scaring me.”

Nikolas leaned over. “Morgan, your Mom is just a little upset, that’s all. She’ll be all right.” Nikolas looked over at Carly who was feverishly wiping her eyes and forcing a smile onto her face. “See, your Mom is ok.”

“I’m ok.” Carly told Morgan. “Why don’t I take you upstairs and you can tell me about your day. Maybe you and I can play a game or something.”

Not looking convinced, Morgan turned around, Carly following him. Nikolas sank onto the couch, his head between his knees.

“Well well, how goes it brother in law?” Luke asked Noah as Noah stepped up to the bar at the Haunted Star. “How is Barbara Jean?”

Noah asked for water with lemon, making sure he doesn’t take a drink. “Bobbie is doing really well. Hopefully she will be able to come home within the next month or two.”

Luke slid the glass over to Noah, “That’s what I like to hear.” He looked up and saw Mac walking towards them. “Well, well, well. If it isn’t the former commissioner? I hope you aren’t here to shut us down. I haven’t down anything wrong.” Under his breath he muttered, “Yet”

Mac sat down on a bar stool. “You can relax Spencer. I’m not here on official duty. I’m just here to enjoy a drink tonight.”

“In that case what’ll it be? I’ll make sure to charge you double and water down your drink.” Luke said with a twinkle in his eye.

“A beer would be great.” Mac said. Luke opened a beer and gave it to him. Mac swallowed some and asked, “What’s going on?”

“Well Lucy and that Dr. Hayward are canoodling in the corner. I have to say that I will always have a soft spot for my Lucy Coe.” Luke said as he raised his glass in Lucy’s directions. “The wife’s at home sulking because I am here tonight. Someday that woman will be the death of me.”

Mac looked around the casino. “Speaking of the Quartermaines, I am surprised that Brenda didn’t move in there. She always seems to end up there. But Robin says she moved into the Metro Court.”

“Hush now. Don’t give her any ideas.” Luke said. “I would not have all of Alice’s attentions if Brenda moved in.”

Noah looked over at Mac, “I haven’t talked to Patrick in a few days. How is Robin?”

“She’s unhappy but I think she is glad that her mother is here. We are just trying to be the best support system we can be.” Mac replied.

“It’s such a shame.” Luke commented. “I have watched that little sprout grow up and face everything she has. She must have gotten her courage from Anna because she sure didn’t get it from her father.”

Mac half scowled. “Thanks a lot Luke.”

“Oh come on. I meant your no good excuse for a brother. Where is the secret agent Aussie anyway? I haven’t seen or heard from him in a few months?”

“He was called away on some mission with the WSB. He’s been in and out of contact since then,” Mac says finishing off his beer. “Hit me with another one.”

Luke handed him another beer. “I would say it’s on the house but I would be lying. It’s true. Anna has more courage than any woman I know except Laura. I am not talking down on my old friend Robert. There is a difference.”

Noah’s pager went off and he looked at it. “Ah, ok. I have to go. Thanks Luke. Mac.”

Luke shivered. “I could never be a doctor. Way too much work.”

Noah says his goodbyes to his friends and heads out. Luke takes out a box of cigars and offers Mac one. The two sit back and light their cigars, relaxing as GH comes to a close.

I have always said that I preferred being cold than hot, but my goodness, this is unbearable. Living near (damn near on) the beach is fun, but not when it's cold. The wind chill factor here was like 14 degrees. That's nothing compared to when I was in PA and the wind chill was 5-10 below zero, but still. For NY/NJ to have a pretty moderate winter last year, this is the complete opposite. I wish it would already go ahead and snow. We know it's coming, we just don't know exactly when.

Oh, and on top of that, the heat is out at work. And because of where my office is located (on a pier above the beach), it's even colder. I'm freezing my ass of now. I would have just driven down to city hall, but my roomates have my car and to catch the Jitney would mean I'd have to walk two blocks up, and wait a few minutes in the cold. Uh uh, don't don't think so. So I'm trying to wait it out until I can go hom and warm up. Then I'm taking my car and going shopping, should my roomates ever decide to give me my damn car back. Speaking of that, I lent them my car like Tuesday. It's Friday....shouldn't I have my keys back by now?

I saw Ashlee Simpson in concert last Saturday. She was pretty good. The show was better than her first tour here. While I did enjoy that, I enjoyed this one better. I didn't find her voice annoying and she really connects with her fans onstage. Good stuff Ashlee! Gotta go get my jacket. I guess I'll post another entry later.

Based on the title you'd think it was about my ex, but no. I injured myself while working out. I hit my lower back on one of the weights that was behind me as I was doing curls. Ugh, I'm so clumsy sometimes.

I don't know how much longer I can damn continue to be cold at work. There is no damn reason for my office to be 27 degrees when I come into work in the morning. No reason.

Being single kicks ass! It's fun not being tied down, but still keeping the door open for a serious relationship. I'll be able to go out like I used to come January. Thank god for vacations smile.gif .

Rockland County is really picking up people. The relationship between Dante & Elijah is being explored more seeing as how Elijah has taken a liking to Dante's girlfriend Arden. Could Ashley be an ally for Elijah? I hope so. He needs a friend.

Rockland County airs Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:45am ET on Radio Loger and repeats on Soap Opera Radio (Live 365) throughout the week. Each episode now runs around ten minutes in length.

After each episode airs on Radio Loger, it becomes available to listen to on this website, along with the transcript for that show.

Am I the only one liking the ABC soaps right now? I hope not. My column (which I still haven't found a damn title for, lol) will hopefully be debuting this week right here on SON. I'll be touching on the recast of Carly Corinthos-Alcazar and where I think GH went wrong with Jennifer Bransford (Carly #3). I'll also be touching briefly on OLTL and discuss the recent

Coming in late January, I will be writing a GH fanfic. This will be written to my liking with of course the help of many of the readers. I will be taking your suggestions on who I should keep around and who I should get rid of. One thing....if I get rid of Maurice Bernard (Sonny) it will involve a long-term story. I won't just say "Oops he's fired, no story left for you". I of course will be needing some help so if any of you want to help and/or submit ideas for storylines, feel free. I'm all ears.

Based on the current contract cast, who do you think should be written off immediately:

Maurice Benard * Not available b/c I said I'd write a long story for his departure from the show*
    Julie Berman
    Corbin Bernsen
    Steve Burton
    Dylan Cash
    Leslie Charleson
    Robin Christopher
    Tyler Christopher
    Scott Clifton
    Stuart Damon
    Jane Elliot
    Anthony Geary
    Nancy Lee Grahn
    Rick Hearst
    Rebecca Herbst
    Ted King
    Adrianne Leon
    Lindze Letherman
    Natalia Livingston
    Matt Marraccini
    Kimberly McCullough
    Kelly Monaco
    M'fundo Morrison
    Ingo Rademacher
    Ignacio Serricchio
    Kirsten Storms
    Jason Thompson
    Greg Vaughan
    Alicia Leigh Willis
    Laura Wright
    John J. York
    Jacklyn Zeman

Also, if there are any characters you'd like to return or think an actor should be bumped to recurring, let me know. I'd love it if someone would help me write for the veterans. I unfortuneately haven't been able to see them in the glory days, so any info would be great.
  8. Ryan
    Haylo everyone!

I have some ideas on what I intend to so here they are:

Bring the veterans back into the frontburner which include but aren't limited to:
    - Give Alan & Monica a front burner storyline that involves them rekindling their love
    - A love triangle between Tony, Bobbie & Noah. One that will involve a lot of buildup and explain why Tony feels the way that he does and why it took him so long.

    Bring back more family interactions
    - Which may result in bringing back some popular characters
    - Eliminate the "quarantining" of certain characters (those who never interact with their family).

Eliminate some of the dead weight

Recast 3 contract roles with their original portrayers.

    Write off about 4 characters

One of the things that will happen is a major crossover with All My Children. Why that show? Well, since everything will be taking place on General Hospital, I will have to write something that will explain why some PV citizens are visiting Port Charles. There may be 2 characters who move permanately to Port Charles and vice versa.

I am looking for ideas. This is a fan fiction for your enjoyment, and therefore I'd like to have some feedback. If anyone wants to help out, that would be great. Ideas, volunteers, everything would be great!

    To Whom It May Concern:

You know, some people just really piss me the hell off. For someone who claims to be above all of the petty things, you really like to throw gasoline on a dimming fire. It just amazes me how hypocritical some people can be at times. Only telling one half or the story, or better yet a half assed one at that. It amazes me how someone can constantly take cheap shots, yet finishes theirr statement with a god damn smiley. That doesn't make it better? It comes off as being a smartass, and no one likes a smartass.

It amazes me how so many people can think the worst of a person/group only knowing part of a story, which is enveloped by a larger, more complicated situation.

I'm all for controversy, but come on. Do you really have to always do to do things to appease others? To get their "support". How pathetic. Seriously. Pathetic. Do you like when people constantly sing your praises? Does it give you a confidence boost? A feeling that you're important to them? Maybe you do and that's your right. But still, it's kinda patethic, catering to those who will only kiss your ass and feed your ego. Hmmm.....

I like this open letter format. It totally kicks ass and I can be as vague as I want. How's that? I like that

It’s a Season of Secrets & Lies on General Hospital
    Written by Someone

Port Charles will be full of drama this fall/winter as the first story arc “Secrets & Lies” kicks off on October 14. We recently sat down with the writing team of General Hospital to talk about the story arc and previews for the fall/winter. As with the title of the arc, expect all characters involved to harbor at least one major secret or tell a lie that will affect those close to them.

Alexis/Sam/Jason: The Alexis & Sam storyline will move onto the next chapter of their storyline in an explosive way. After learning from Helena that she is Sam’s mother, Alexis decides to keep this tidbit of knowledge to herself. Unfortunately that won’t last long because she inadvertently spills the beans while they are getting rescued. Alexis & Sam will try to contact Jason and Ric but won’t be able to. They instead get Liz at the hospital and will relay the messages. Ric, Jason, Lucky and Liz will set out to find Alexis and Sam. When Helena realizes what is going on, she decides to kill them all. Will they be able to rescue Sam & Alexis? “Let’s just say that the rescue mission is more complicated than they think. Who is rescued and by who will create problems in future arcs” says the head writer. “Alexis & Jason will have to deal with the consequences of their actions. This will overlap with a few other storylines.” After Sam dies in the explosion, Liz becomes closer to Jason and pushes Lucky away. The relationship between Alexis and Jason is very tense. Alexis blames Jason for Sam’s death and Jason blames himself. He uses every chance he gets to blast Alexis. Both of them will be in for a surprise when Helena gets done with them.

Carly/Nikolas/Courtney: “This storyline is complicated because of the friendship that Carly has with Courtney. Carly and Nikolas are not friends by any means, but they feel connected for some reason. Courtney’s been gone since January and hasn’t once called Nikolas to check up on him. Carly feels that Courtney abandoned Nikolas and it’s time for him to move on. Nikolas for reasons unknown, feels drawn to Carly as well. He loves Courtney very much, but it’s appears to him that he is not her priority.” Carly and Nikolas’ connection could be threatened when they decide to go into business together.

Something will happen with Courtney that will severely test the friendship of Carly and Nikolas. Their entire friendship and possible relationship could be ruined.

Patrick/Robin/Jamie: Robin’s friend Jamie moves into town and begins to make herself well known throughout town. Patrick is extremely attracted to her and though she rejects him, he continues to pine after her. Robin truly believes that Jamie is being a good friend but Jamie has her own reasons for rejecting Patrick. Soon after Jamie starts her residency, she and Robin engage in a little friendly rivalry. Time after time Jamie will come out on top while Robin continually fails. After a while, Robin begins to question Jamie’s motives. Jamie’s got a secret and she’s determined to get her revenge.

Alcazar/Skye: Skylo fans will be happy to know that Lorenzo and Skye will be getting married this fall/winter. The Quartermaine’s will obviously be against this move and it will cause problems in the Quartermaine Mansion as well as ELQ. Due to her relationship with Lorenzo and constant interference from Tracy, Edward refuses to name Skye as the new head of ELQ. Feeling rejected, Skye decides to manipulate the situation to her advantage. With enough votes from the board, Skye will be able to overrule Edward. Will her desire to be accepted as an actual Quartermaine in both her personal and professional life drive a wedge between her and Lorenzo? “No way” says the writing team. “Skye’s recaptured the spark that made her an interesting character and draws Lorenzo in more.” How will Skye’s other father feel about this? When asked, one on the writing team said, “Let’s just say Adam won’t take this news too well. He’s been away from Skye for too long and feels the Quartermaine’s have weakened his child’s instincts.” Could Adam pop into Port Charles this fall/winter? You never know.

Alan/Monica: Over the past few months Alan and Monica have been kind of going to therapy to try and repair their marriage. Needless to say it’s not working too well. “Alan feels that the counselor isn’t working and will contact Kevin Collins to come in and help. He’ll regret that later when Kevin takes a liking to Monica. This will bring Lucy back to town and will do things only as Lucy Coe can.” For those wondering, the writers will NOT be addressing the supernatural events that took place on GH’s sister soap, Port Charles. However, there will be certain history that will be brought up.

Noah/Bobbie/Tony: Tony and Bobbie’s problem with Lucas will not bring them together; instead it will drive them further apart as Tony tries to help Bobbie deal with Lucas’ orientation. Tony eventually leaves town after he is given the chance to become Chief of Staff at a hospital in Texas. Noah then takes center stage. Noah will be after Bobbie’s heart. He and Bobbie will connect as he helps her battle her alcohol dependency.

The Teens (Lucas, Dillon, Maxie, Lulu, Georgie and Diego): They will appear sporadically through the beginning of the arc and will appear more often towards the middle. Expect the teens to get caught up in one of Carly’s business plans. This will overlap over into two storylines.

Emily/Mystery Person: The person taking care of Emily will bring about the return of a fan favorite. Though this story won’t be a major story throughout the fall/winter, expect a big reveal to be made regarding the identity of Emily’s mystery person as well as Emily’s future in Port Charles.

Where’s Sonny in all of this? We asked the writing team and they had this to say. “Maurice will be working a very light schedule this fall/winter. With these kinds of storylines, it’s very hard to include every single character. Though we will see him and many others, they will only be in supporting roles, to help push along other storylines.”

How does Maurice Bernard feel about this? You can find out for yourself next week when we conduct an interview with him regarding his recent lack of airtime.

    Major Casting News: 10/21/06
    by Some One

We have received some interesting information. According to our sources at GH, we have learned that multiple roles are going to be recast over the next couple of months.

We've known this for the past three weeks, but have been unable to reveal it. We are now able to share some of that with you. The roles of Lucas Jones and Brandon Wexler (Lucas' boyfriend) are going to be recast. Some names floating around include Jean-Paul Laviosier (Rex, OLTL), Justin Bruening (Jamie, AMC) and Ryan Carnes (ex-Lucas, GH). Rumor has it that the show may turn to the fans to select their new Lucas and Brandon. Nothing is set in stone at this time.

Also rumored? Three actors could be on their way out. Among those rumored is Maurice Bernard. Though Bernard recently gave an interview saying he doesn't mind his lack of screentime, sources close to the set say he's very irritated and is afraid Sonny may meet his maker soon.

We can confirm that the role of Sarah Webber, last played by Sarah Laine in 2002, will now be played by actress Erin Hershey Presley! Sarah was last seen in 2002, but never had an official exit off-screen. It was later mentioned that Sarah returned to Europe to live with her father and step-mother. There is no word yet when Erin will first air, but she is rumored to either set her eyes on Lucky, Patrick or Jason.

We can also confirm that Rachel Ames' (Audrey) recent increase in screentime is no fluke. The actress has recently been upgraded to contract status once again and will be seen off and on (for now) until the show can fit her heavily into a storyarc.

We are hearing that GH is currently creating a role specifially for Kimberlin Brown (ex-Sheila, Y&R, B&.

With many casting changes to come, who'll be leaving? GH has an extradordinarly large cast and with the recent decision to tell storyarcs, many are finding themselves with a lot of free time. The Soap Entertainment News Network (SENN) will keep you updated as more information is provided to us.

    Opening Video

When Tracy opens the door to her home, she is very surprised by what she sees. She looks around and notices dim lights, soft music playing and rose petals leading up the stairs. Intrigued, she follows the trail all the way to the bathroom. When she opens the door she sees candles all around, with a bottle of champagne and note. The note reads “Get in”. Continuing to play along, Tracy sheds her clothing and gets into the tub. There, she reads the second part of the note that reads “Put this on, then push play on the remote,” referring to the eye mask. Tracy does what the note says and presses play on the remote.

At the PCCC, Dillon shows Lucas a layout of a house he was checking out online. It’s close to campus and would be able to allow all of the teens to live together. Lucas tells Dillon that he was quite happy living in Carly’s old penthouse with him, Brandon and Lulu but if he wants out he can leave. Dillon tries to promote this new house as the “it” place, but Lucas isn’t buying it.

The mysterious man that has been communicating with Alan looks out his window as the plane he’s on descends into Port Charles. It’s been a while since he’s been here. Things have changed and he’s sure the people have changed a lot too. Will they be happy to see him? He hopes so. His thoughts are interrupted when the captain asks all of the passengers to turn off their electronic equipment. The man smiles to himself as he has something to look forward too. The “Dating for Doctors” website arranged for him to meet “BCSurvivorMD” at the MetroCourt later on in the week. When the pilot issues his final request, the man complies. “Port Charles here I come,” says the man.

Nikolas awakens to the sound of people talking outside his door. He puts on a shirt and walks into the den to find Alexis and Lucky speaking. Her eyes, which are bloodshot red, lock with Nikolas’ and a pain hits his heart. “Has something happened to Kristina or Molly? What’s wrong? Tell me!” he yells as the worst case scenario runs through his mind.

“No,” says Alexis. “Kristina and Molly are fine for now. I just had a run in with Helena and she really got to me.” Lucky tells Nikolas that since Liz is staying at Audrey’s for a few days, that he’s returning to his apartment for a while. Lucky says goodbye to Alexis and Nikolas, then leaves Wyndemere.

When he’s gone, Alexis regains her composure, asking Nikolas to apologize to Lucky for her and for Nikolas to forgive her for being such a mess. Nikolas allows his aunt to share her fears with him regarding Helena. He tells her that Helena will pay for what she’s done to his family. Nikolas says that though they are both angry with Helena for robbing them of the chance to have a strong relationship with Sam, they cannot allow her to create chaos in their lives anymore.

Back at the Quartermaine Mansion, Tracy gets lost in her relaxing atmosphere. She is startled when she senses the presence of another person. Lifting up her eye mask, she sees Luke standing near the side of the tub. Tracy tells him to leave but he says that he must say. Luke tells Tracy to relax and allow him to take care of her for the night. Though she’s hesitant to allow him to do it, Tracy says to herself “What the hell. Why not?”

Luke changes the song playing on the stereo before grabbing the sponge lying next to her legs. He gently rubs the sponge across her neck and shoulders before slowly moving down to her arms. He asks Tracy to scoot down into the water and kick her legs up. She complies, and then Luke goes down near her legs. He drops rose petals into the water and begins massaging her feet. He tells her to meet him downstairs in 10 minutes. She tells him that he’d better not stand her up. He promises his “spankybuns” that he’ll be there.

When he exits the bathroom, Luke grabs the basket of rose petals and leaves another trail going into the living room. He then grabs Edward’s most expensive bottle of champagne, laughing to himself saying that Edward’s gonna have a fit. Luke lights 3 candles then puts the stereo on standby, preparing for Tracy’s entrance. Tracy slowly makes her way downstairs. She tells herself that Luke is just playing games with her and probably ran away to go save a monkey in South Africa or something. After working herself into a tizzy, Tracy flings open the door prepared to throw a fit when she is stopped dead in her tracks.

Lucas and Carly get into an argument regarding Bobbie

    Opening Video

    - As the clock strikes 2AM, Alan isn’t sleeping like he should be. Instead, he’s pacing back and forth through the den in the Quartermaine Mansion, wondering where his wife could be. He’s been calling her for last 5 hours, yet it goes straight to voicemail. Panic doesn’t set in just yet, especially seeing as how their marriage hasn’t been doing too well. Alan expects all will be well in the end, now that Kevin is back in town. He should be able to help them get to the root of their problems.

    - Monica slowly eases up out of the bed she was just laying in. Does she regret her romp around with Kevin? Not really. She feels as if her marriage is about to end anyway, why not transition herself for something better right? Kevin awakes soon after Monica puts her pants back on asking why she’s leaving.

“I have to get back to the Mansion. Alan is going to wonder where I’ve been,” says Monica.

“The mansion? Alan? Why would he care where you’ve been. You’re separated.”

“Not exactly,” Monica says as she puts on her jacket. “Alan and I are still married. I just told that we were separated because I feel like we’re separated and that’s what is about to happen.”

Monica goes to open the door but Kevin blocks her. “You’re not going anywhere until you tell me everything.”

    - Jason walks into his penthouse looking disheveled and in a bad mood. Maybe it’s because Lucky interrupted what was about to happen between he and Liz. Maybe it’s because he feels guilty for almost sleeping with someone so soon after Sam’s death. No matter what it is, he hopes Elizabeth is ok.

    - Liz runs up the stairs fixing her blouse. When she gets to her floor she sees her door isn’t shut and hears a lot of noise. Slowly opening the door, Liz sees that many of her things have been thrown into suitcases and plastic bags.

“Lucky stop! What are you doing?!”

Laughing sarcastically to himself fighting back tears: “That’s funny, I believe I asked you the exact same thing Elizabeth. You know, when I saw you mounting Jason on the pool table….about to do god knows what. You made your choice to do what you did, and now I’m making mine.”

“Lucky please. We can work this out,” cries Elizabeth, grabbing Lucky’s arm. “I made a mistake. We all make mistakes. I wasn’t thinking straight. Come on Lucky don’t throw away our marriage over one mistake.”

“ONE mistake? It’s been mistake after mistake with you. Though you weren’t cheating on me months ago, you abandoned me. You left me alone to deal with my injury. Hell, now that I think about it, how do I know you weren’t cheating on me.”

“I have never cheated on you!”

“Says the woman who unbuttoned another guy’s jeans with her teeth. Tell me Elizabeth, what other things have you done with your mouth?”

Elizabeth slaps Lucky for that comment. Lucky then grabs an end table and throws it towards the kitchen in anger.

    - Alexis is awakened to the sound of footsteps in her house. Grabbing the taser from her bottom drawer, Alexis slowly creeps her way down the hall. She hears a lamp break followed by a muttered expletive. Unfortunately for Alexis it’s too dark for her to see her assailant. Taking a deep breathe, Alexis runs into the living room screaming.

    “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!”

    “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!”

“DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” yells the man as he screams in pain.

Alexis grabs the fireplace poker and hits the guy in the back before grabbing the telephone and flipping the light switch. Much to her surprise, the man she has just tased and hit with her fireplace poker is not a criminal, but her husband Ric!

    - Back at the MetroCourt, Monica sits Kevin down to explain the truth behind why she kept the fact that she and Alan weren’t legally separated a secret. However, they have been separated in the literal sense. They don’t sleep in the same bed, they have separate rooms and besides the fact that they cohabitate, they are separated. Kevin explains to Monica that he doesn’t appreciate being misled as even omitting some of the truth is considered lying. Monica says that what happened between them tonight was great, amazing, special….but it can’t happen again until she ends things with Alan. Kevin says that what happened between them won’t happen again, even when things are over with Alan. Monica then grabs her things and leaves.

    - Back at Liz & Lucky’s, Liz continues to plead with Lucky as he packs her belongings.

“Look at me Lucky. LOOK AT ME PLEASE!!” Liz pleads with her husband. “I’m asking you to look past what you saw. You know that is something that I’d never, ever do.”

“So you’re saying that Jason forced you?”

“No! That’s not what I’m saying—”

“I can’t even look at you right now.” Lucky turns away, then holds out his hand holding Elizabeth’s luggage. “I think you should go. We’ll talk about this once I’ve calmed down.”

Elizabeth gathers up her luggage and wipes her face. She gives a longing look towards Lucky who just puts his face in his hands. When she shuts the door behind her, she hears a glass breaking, realizing that Lucky throw his beer bottle at the door.

    - Back at Alexis’, she helps Ric apply an ice pack to his back. She apologizes for attacking him. Ric apologizes for coming in so late. His business trip took a little longer than expected, but he intended on being here in the morning to surprise her. Alexis says that she’s just glad that Ric is home and they can work on being a family.

“Family…” repeats Rick as he stares off into space.

Alan just wants to know why she didn’t come home. Monica covers and says that she rented a room at the MetroCourt b/c she intended on moving in part time there, but she changed her mind because she missed her bed. Tossing her pocketbook on the table, she says goodnight to Alan and says she’s turning in.

    - Kevin unpacks the rest of his belongings and finds a picture of him, Lucy, Kristina and Daniel. He smiles, then puts it in his nightstand.

    - Jason is on his way upstairs when he hears a knock on the door. He opens it, seeing a crying Liz standing in his doorway.

“I have no place to go.”

Looking deep into her eyes: “Stay with me. You can stay with me,” says Jason taking Liz into his arms.

He pulls over and orders whoever it is to show themselves. Much to his surprise, Jamie pops her head up. Patrick flips out when he sees her and demands to know why she was being a stowaway. Jamie tries to play around at first, but eventually she tells him that she felt bad that he was going to be alone for an entire week, so she decided to keep him some company. She promises that she’ll pay for everything herself. After much thought, Patrick gives in and tells her to get in the front seat.

Kevin and Alan do some catching up while in the breakroom at the hospital. Kevin tells Alan that he was tired of Port Charles back in 2003 and just needed a break so he moved. There were a lot of stressful years, his daughter had a mental breakdown and he felt like his life was spinning out of control. Alan asks how Lucy handled the move, but Kevin doesn’t answer. In a kind, yet stern tone, Kevin says he would like if they didn’t speak about Lucy. As far as he’s concerned, Lucy is in the past.

Noah arrives at the Nurse’s Station with flowers for Bobbie. He notices that she appears to be sober today and figures this would be a good time to ask her what he’s been meaning to ask her for a while now. Bobbie remarks how beautiful they are, but is really busy and has to do more rounds. Noah asks her to try and take easy, and consider having dinner with him at the MetroCourt. Georgie and Maxie, who are nearby, agree to stay later and assist the other nurses with their rounds if Bobbie promises she’ll have a good time with Noah. Noah turns on his charm even more and it works! Bobbie agrees to have dinner with Noah later tonight.

Opening Video As the show opens, Noah and Bobbie are being seated at the MetroCourt for dinner. While she’s ordering, Noah can’t help but be amazed by Bobbie’s beauty. She’s aged very well over the past 20 years and can’t help but be captured by her. When she’s done ordering, Bobbie is surprised that Noah is staring at her so deeply. He reaches out and takes her hand and smiles. Noah comments on how great Bobbie looks and she thanks him. Another waiter comes by and asks what they’ll have to drink. Noah says he’ll have some country tea, Bobbie requests a glass of Chardonnay, but changes her mind at the last minute. Noah smiles at Bobbie’s decision to not drink. She tells Noah that though she likes to drink, tonight is not the night to do that.

Also in the MetroCourt are Jason and Robin, separately though. Jason notices the sad look on Robin’s face and goes over to talk to her. Robin looks up surprised to see Jason. When asked what’s wrong, Robin says she and Patrick got into a huge fight and now he’s not returning her calls. Jason suggests Robin go over to his place, but is told he’s on vacation. Robin tries to get Jason to open up to her, but he shuts her out. All he’ll tell her is that since Sam’s death, he’s been lost and possibly ruined someone’s relationship because of it.

Lucky is coming from the kitchen when he hears a knock on the door. He opens the door to find his wife there. Lucky tries to shut the door but Liz stops him. He asks her to leave, but Liz says she wants to move back home. Liz tries to make Lucky understand that she wants to be with him and him only, but he’s just too stubborn to see it. Lucky says he’s not ready for her to move back home yet and he doesn’t know when. But until then, he’d appreciate it if she kept her distance.

At the Quartermaine Mansion, Luke and Tracy are upstairs layout out their plans to get enough votes to ensure Tracy is the new CEO. While going through a list of non-family members on the board, Tracy knows there are at least 3 who she can blackmail into voting her way. Luke knows that Alan, Monica, Skye, Justus and Edward (who has two votes) will vote in favor of Edward’s selection. Tracy thinks that with Dillon, Ned and the three she’ll blackmail into voting her way, they’ll have a great shot of getting their mission accomplished. That just leaves 1 non-family board member and Carly’s votes (for Michael and AJ’s proxy). Luke tells Tracy to leave Carly to him, he’ll get his niece to vote his way with no problem. Luke then pushes all of their notes off the bed and grabs Tracy playfully. Tracy kisses Luke and is happy that he’s backing her up on this.

Alan comes home to find his wife working on some paperwork in the study. Monica’s cordial to her husband and dodges his attempted kiss. To avoid the uncomfortable silence, Monica asks how Alan’s day went. He says it was good. He and Kevin caught up on some time lost, but found it odd that he didn’t want to discuss Lucy, especially since they were together at Lila’s funeral. Monica flashes back to one of the rainy nights where she spent all night talking to Kevin before she knew who he was and realizes that he never mentioned Lucy once. Monica chalks it up to him probably wanting to start his life over and not wanting to dredge up the past, something that she wishes she could do. Alan asks Monica to try and give their marriage another chance. They’ve come too far to end things now. Monica excuses herself and leaves the study. As she’s walking down the hallway she can hear Luke and Tracy going at it and laughs, saying to herself at least one married couple in the mansion is happy.

Back at the MetroCourt, everything seems to be going well during Bobbie and Noah’s date until Noah sees someone who could possibly ruin their night. He tries to get Bobbie out of there without noticing them, but does a poor job. Much to Bobbie’s dislike, Lucas [Justin Bruening] and Brandon [Matt Cohen] show up for dinner together at the MetroCourt. On The Next GH: Secrets and Lies-

    - An ICU episode featuring Lucas, Brandon, Noah and Bobbie. In the episode, Lucas and Bobbie get into a big confrontation at the MetroCourt. Afterwards, Lucas considers giving himself to Brandon for the first time.

Four Shocking Additions To The Cast!!
    By Gate Way

Over a month ago, SONBC was informed by our sources at GH that Kimberlin Brown would be joining General Hospital in a then undetermined role. We can now confirm that the actress will be playing the role of Alexandria Claudia Nov, a mysterious businesswoman who has a secret vendetta against Luke, Helena and 2 other characters on the show.

Also joining Kimberlin will be Eileen Davidson (ex-Ashley, Y&R). Davidson will portray the role of Victoria Cassandra Nov, the sister of Amanda. Exactly why these two sisters have come to town will be revealed later, but we can say that they are carrying a secret and will have ties a family that either currently resides, did reside or will reside in Port Charles.

It was rumored a few weeks ago that a citizen from Pine Valley would be making his or her way to Port Charles. SONBC is now able to confirm that Vincent Irizarry (ex-David, AMC) will be bringing his character, the nefarious Dr. David Hayward to General Hospital. His debut on the show will facilitate the return of Finola Hughes’ character Anna Devane, who will be relocating to Port Charles. That’s right folks, Finola Hughes is returning to GH!! We’ll have more information regarding the return of Finola Hughes later.

With these 4 actors joining, plus the rumored return of Lynn Herring, the budget at the show would be extremely high, therefore the show was forced to make a few cuts. SONBC is saddened to report that Corbin Bernsen (John Durant), Tyler Hoechlin (Diego), Peyton List (Jamie) and M’Fundo Morrison (Justus) will be exiting the show by the end of the year. We have been told that Corbin and M’Fundo will be returning for later arcs, but until then will be off the show. Expect Justus to announce his exit from Port Charles during Thanksgiving. John's exit will come a week later. The exits of Peyton List and Tyler Hoechlin will be permanent and happen towards the end of the current story arc, Secrets & Lies.

SONBC will be conducting an interview with the head writer of General Hospital regarding upcoming storylines, the return of a huge fan favorite, the comings and goings of some of the cast members and the opinions from the team regarding the show’s first story arc.

    Opening Video

    - GH begins in the apartment of Lucky Spencer. Nikolas has just seen that Sam is alive and deduced that Lucky was aware the entire time. He punched Lucky.

Sam: Why in the hell would you punch him? Who are you? Why are you here?

Nikolas: I'm your cousin Nikolas. Get up Lucky!

    Lucky: What was that for?

Nikolas: You bastard. How could you do this? How could you do this to us?

Sam: What is he talking about Lucky? What did you do?

Nikolas: You continued to allow us to believe that Sam was dead when she was staying with you all along?

Sam: They thought I was dead?

Nikolas: Why…why does she keep asking questions?

Lucky: Because she can't remember. Damn you hit hard.

Nikolas: Not hard enough. How could you keep this from us?

Lucky: I didn't do anything. Sam showed up on Thanksgiving with no memory of what went down over the summer. She doesn't know why, but she asked me not to call anyone to let them know she was alive. (turning to Sam). Sam, can you give Nikolas & I some privacy?

Sam: Sure. If you need me, I'll be in the back.

When Sam leaves, Lucky takes Nikolas over to the sofa and gets ready to tell him his theory regarding Sam's alleged death.

    - Elizabeth arrives at Kelly's for her lunch date with Audrey. Elizabeth puts on a happy face but her grandmother knows that she's faking it. Audrey gets Elizabeth to open up about her problems with Lucky and her conflicting feelings for Jason.

Audrey: You know how I feel about the situation Elizabeth. But I will not force my opinions and beliefs upon you. You need to make a decision that will benefit not only you but your child as well. Do you really want to be with Lucky? Do you want to be with him because you love him or because you feel like you should stay?

Elizabeth: Honestly grandmother I don't know. I love Lucky with all of my heart. But things haven't been great between us since Sam died. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. But with Jason….with Jason I feel like I am free and I can be myself.

Audrey: Then you have a lot of thinking to do my dear. No matter what you decide, I will be there for you if you need me. I will always be here for you my dear.

    Elizabeth: Thanks Gram.

    - At the Quartermaine Mansion, Tracy is looking for Luke to give him a surprise. Upset that she's unable to find him, she asks Alice where he could be. The gargantuan maid informs Tracy that Luke received a call from Holly and went off to go help her. Tracy throws a fit, pissed off that her husband again is chasing around a woman besides her. Tracy mopes her way downstairs and finds Skye talking on the phone with Lorenzo. Ned forsees a possible situation and drags his mother into the den. Ned tells Tracy to sit down, shut up and listen because he has something to say.

    - After a long day of work and shopping for groceries, Bobbie is ready to do nothing but take a nice bath and sleep. First however, she has to carry all of these damn groceries. Lucas, who's been on clearing his head, sees his mother struggling with the bags and is tempted to go over and help her. He turns around to walk the other way but something stops him. Knowing that he might regret it later, he turns back around and runs to her house. He surprises her a bit, but all he says is "Let me help you Mom."

After making a few trips, he helps her unpack the groceries. Bobbie is happy that her son is around to help her. She notices that he picked up her laundry bags and carries them upstairs for her. She smiles at first, but is then overcome with sadness. She still can't believe that her big strong son is gay. He comes back down and gets ready to leave.

Bobbie: Can't you stay a little bit longer?

Lucas: Why so you can go off about how I'll never be accepted or be happy because I'm gay? No mom, I can't. I can't stay.

Bobbie: Lucas…..please. I miss talking to you. I miss spending time with you.

Lucas: I miss spending time with you too mom. But if you're going to constantly bash the choices I'm making in my life then I don't want to be around you. I can't be around you. I'll see you around.

Bobbie: Lucas….you're father would want you to stay for a while.

Lucas stops in his tracks. Before Tony moved away, he asked Lucas to give Bobbie time to adjust and try to hear her out when she is reach to talk.

    Lucas: Fine. I'll stay.

On the next GH: Secrets & Lies

    Opening Video

    - GH opens at Jake’s with Kevin and Mac shooting some pool and knockin’ back some beers. Kevin tries to cheer Mac up by purposely losing some games to him, but Mac sees right through it. Kevin learns that Mac is upset because the Mayor is coming down hard on him. Mac changes the subject, instead wanting to know how his friend has been doing for a while. As they continue to move around the table playing 8-ball, Kevin gives subtle details regarding his relationship with Monica, making sure not to mention her name. He tells Mac how she makes his heart skip a beat, but isn’t sure whether she’s ready for a serious relationship.

    - Carly, who was still in her silk robe, began to grow nervous over her dinner date with Nikolas. Why should she be nervous? She's been around Nikolas before; but then again, not like this. Not on a date, at least. Carly was fretting so much, that she didn't hear the doorbell ring. Collecting herself, she hurried to the door, praying that it wasn't Nikolas coming early.

"Why are you still in your bathrobe?" a curious Lulu said as she barged into Carly's living room. Plopping on the couch, Lulu stared at Carly. "What's the matter with you?"

"Lulu, I don't have time to talk shop with you, if that's why you came over. I'm trying to get ready for a date," she said, sighing deeply, looking in the mirror at her make-up.

Perking up at the word 'date', Lulu immediately sprang to her feet. "What date? Who are you going on a date with, Carly, spill it, woman!"

Carly felt her cheeks grow warm at the simple thought of Nikolas asking her out on a date. "Nikolas asked me out to dinner tonight, and I'm not even ready yet. I don't have any idea what to wear."

Raising an eyebrow at Carly, Lulu immediately snatched her hand and led her up the stairs. "Don't worry about a thing, Carly, before you know it, Nikolas will forget all about dinner, and focus on what's for dessert."

"Lulu!" Carly gasped, as she practically ran up the stairs to keep up with her cousin.

    - The camera pans around to the happenings at the MetroCourt. David is shown talking on his cell phone to an unknown person. While talking, he notices a woman from across the room laying into the maitre d’ for getting her drink wrong. She threatens to have him fired and orders him away. David tells the person on the phone he’ll call back later. David asks the maitre d’ (who’s been reduced to tears) the name of the woman. David grabs a glass of Gamay Beaujolais and walks over to the table.

“A glass of wine for the beautiful lady?”

The woman looks at him with disgust. She purses her lips and responds, “What do you want?”

He smiles at her, intrigued by her icy greeting. “I couldn’t help but notice you from across the room. I figured that I had a 50/50 shot of getting you to talk to me. 50 it would go well, 50 I’d end up in tears like that piss ant.”

“Well so far it’s going well.”

“The name’s David. David Hayward.” He pauses waiting for her to respond.

“Oh I’m sorry, were you waiting for me to give you mine?” she snaps.

“Yes I was,” he says with a keen interest. “I was hoping you’d be open.”

“My name is Tracy Quartermaine. I’m the CEO of ELQ Industries.”

David smirks at Tracy, then reaches out his hand in friendship. “Nice to meet you Tracy. I work over at GH with your husband.”

“My husband? No, my husband works for me.” Tracy plays his little game a bit more. “You work with my brother Alan and his wife Monica.”

    “I don’t think I met Monica yet.”

    “It’s nothing special, trust me.”

David and Tracy continue to get to know each other a bit more.

    - At the Quartermaine estate, Monica did her best to stay out of Alan's way. His moody behavior towards her just wasn't what she needed. What she needed was to be with someone that obviously makes her feel alive; someone that make her weak in the knees every time she was near him; someone that was obviously Kevin.

Making her way downstairs, she made her way into the study and found that Edward was there, looking over some papers. "Hello, Edward."

"Monica," he said in a dry tone, not at all interested that she came into the room. "As large as this house is, it never ceases to amaze me how loud you and Alan are with your constant, mindless bickering."

Groaning in disgust, Monica rolled her eyes. "Can we please not talk about Alan?"

"Fine with me, I don't want to talk about your petty problems to begin with." Standing up, Edward made his way to the door to leave the study. "Before I forget, a delivery person brought a package for you. It's over there on the desk."

Going to the desk, Monica picked up the small package, eyeing it, curious as to what it could be. "Edward, did the delivery person say who sent it?"

Grunting in annoyance, Edward shrugged. "How should I know who it's from? The delivery man gave it to me, I signed for it, and he left. You'll have to see for yourself who it's from. Do I look like your personal assistant? Get your own damn mail. Now if you'll excuse me, Monica, I have some pressing matters to attend to."

Looking over the package again, she slowly opened it. Inside was a puzzle piece that showed her face and a note. Not sure of what was going on; she carefully read the bold writing.

Monica, you truly are a 'piece' of work.

Monica wasn't sure if this was some little prank or if the note was to be some form of a threat; all she did know was that it had her greatly concerned.

On the next GH: Secrets & Lies-

    - Carly & Nikolas’ plans change and they end up going somewhere else

    Opening Video

    - GH begins in the den of the Quartermaine Mansion. Kevin walks over to Monica and begins kissing her all over. The two begin to make love when Alan walks in. Alan asks what’s going on but Monica just pulls Kevin in closer. Alan yells for Kevin to stop but he laughs evilly. She hears her name being called over and over and over. She screams “What” and realizes she was dreaming. Edward yells for her to wake up and get ready for the celebration. Alan walks in the den and surprisingly wishes Monica a good morning. All Monica can think of is getting to Kevin for their rendezvous.

    - "Robin, I can't believe you have me out here in the snow," Patrick grumbled, rubbing his hands together.

Rolling her eyes, she playfully kicked at the snow with her foot. Both were standing outside General Hospital, in a big pile of snow. "Will you please stop complaining, Patrick? You were the one that said I could pick anything fun for us to do."

Smirking, Patrick looked at Robin with that boyish look. "Well, Robin, when I said pick something fun to do, I was thinking more along the lines of us between the sheets, not standing out here in the cold."

Picking up some snow, Robin flung it at him. "Is that all you think about? Us having sex in the storage closet, the bed, on the floor by the fireplace? I seriously like playing out in the snow."

Groaning, Patrick jumped up and down keeping warm. "Okay, we're here in the snow. Play in it already so we can go back inside." The minute he said the words, he was hit in the face with a snowball. "You don't want to go there, Robin, really you don't."

Robin placed a innocent smile on her lips, feigning innocence. "What? What did I do? I'm simply enjoying the wonderful snow," she said, bending down to scoop up another handful of snow. Unfortunately, before she could make another snowball, Patrick covered her face full of the icy wetness.

-While the Quartermaines are making last minute preparations for their celebrations, someone watches them from outside the window. He does his best to make sure he’s hidden.

    - "Elizabeth, darling, I think we should have the Christmas tree over here this year," Audrey said, looking at the tree that had yet to be decorated. "This is going to be the most glorious Christmas."

Setting down a box of decorations, Elizabeth smiled at her grandmother. "I think it looks just fine right where it is. I want to get these decorations up so Cameron will be surprised."

"Aww, that little fellow is going to have the best Christmas ever; tons of presents to rip into; it's simply divine seeing my great- grandson celebrate his first Christmas."

Smiling a little, Elizabeth was thrilled too, hoping her son had the best Christmas ever. "Grandma just don't spoil him too much," she said, selecting the ornaments to place on the tree. "What am I saying? I think I'm going to be joining in on the spoiling. I can't wait to see his eyes light up when he sees the tree and all the presents under the tree.

Audrey smiled at her granddaughter, thinking about how cute she was when she was a little girl, beaming from ear to ear at all the Christmas presents. "I thought we would take Cameron with see Santa Claus later this afternoon."

"He'd love that,” she exclaimed, walking over to the tree to hang her selected ornaments. "I would love to have a picture of him in Santa's lap to put on the mantle."

"Darling, I know that this is going to be a special day for all of us, but have you thought about asking Lucky to come and help celebrate Christmas with Cameron?" Audrey knew that it was a touchy subject for Elizabeth, however, it was Christmas, and past mistakes should be put on the shelf for that time.

Exhaling deeply, Elizabeth faced her grandmother. "To be honest with you, I thought about it a lot; really, however, I don't think I could go through with having a wonderful Christmas, only for it to be tainted with awkwardness. Lucky hasn't said anything to me; he won't say anything to me, and I don't think I should continue to beat my head up against the wall, trying to get through to him.."

Sitting on the couch, Audrey picked up the angel tree topper. "I truly think you should extend a welcome to celebrate....." before she could finish her sentence, the doorbell rang. "I'll get it. You just keep hanging those beautiful ornaments on the tree."

Opening the door, Audrey was surprised to see the very person she was talking about standing before her. "My, your ears must be burning. I was just talking about you." she said, stepping aside to let Lucky Spencer in. "Let me take your cold."

Looking up, Elizabeth nearly dropped the box of ornaments from her hands. "Lucky, what are you doing here?" She immediately felt an icy chill go down her back when he refused to speak to her. "Grandma, I'm going to go check on Cameron," she said, quickly exiting the room.

Seeing that things have not improved, Audrey tried to break Lucky's cool stare. "Lucky, why don't you sit down for a bit."

    - Within minutes the two of them were chasing one another, pelting each other with snow. Squealing in delight, Robin tried to get out of Patrick's grasp, but trip, landing face first in the snow.

"Are you going to stop clowning around," Patrick said, suddenly pinning Robin in the snow. When she hit him with another handful of snow, he took both hands to keep her from doing it again. "We can stay out here like this all day, Robin."

Looking up at him, Robin stopped laughing and simply stared into his eyes. "I wish you would kiss me, Patrick," she said, touching his face with her wet gloved hand. Raising up a bit, her lips found his. "See, playing in the snow does have it's benefits."

Kissing her again, Patrick smiled mischievously at her, and smeared her face with a handful of snow. "Yeah, it does have it's benefits, doesn't it?" he asked, kissing her again.

    - "I'm not going to stay long. I just came here to give you a few Christmas presents I got for Cam," his tone was low, as he looked around the house, trying to erase the sight of Liz from his mind. "I didn't know she would be here, if I did, I would have come at a different time."

"Lucky, please don't rush off. I really would like to talk to you for a few minutes, if that's alright," she asked, standing up. "I'm going to bring two cups of hot cocoa to warm us up, and we can chat."

Once she was gone, Lucky stood up, walking towards the Christmas tree. He knew he shouldn't be bitter, especially at a time where Christmas spirit would be flooding Port Charles, however, he wasn't going to be told to let go of his anger towards Liz. She was the one that made the mistakes too; not just him; and mistakes cost relationships.

Audrey returned shortly with two steaming mugs of hot cocoa. Handing him one, she directed him to sit back down with her. "This should hit the spot; it's so cold outside today," she said, still trying to make an attempt to talk with him.

"Thanks, Audrey. I really don't want to stay too long, you know," he said, taking a careful sip of cocoa. "I see you are going all out this Christmas for Cameron. He'll enjoy it. I just wish that things were different, maybe then I’d be helping him celebrate it."

"Darling, you still can help him celebrate Christmas. You just have to take the time to put aside your anger towards Liz to do so." When she saw that he was about to protest, she cut him off. "I'm not condoning at all what Elizabeth did. She should never have sought comfort in the arms of another man. However Lucky, we are all human. We all make mistakes we are not at all proud of. What it comes down to is this: you can either continue to be bitter towards Elizabeth, damaging any form of bond with Cameron, or you can learn to forgive and move forward."

Laughing ruefully, Lucky took another sip of cocoa. "That's easier said than done. How am I supposed to forgive the woman I love....loved, knowing she has feeling for another man? She even took the time to act on those feelings. My God, Audrey, how do you expect me to forgive her?"

Taking his hand in hers, she squeezed it affectionately. "Lucky, sometimes forgiveness is what makes relationships stronger."

Neither one realized that Elizabeth was at the top of the stairs and witnessed and heard the entire conversation.

    - At the Scorpios, Robin & Patrick walk in as Mac, Felicia and Maxie put the last of their gifts under the Christmas tree. Robin kisses Mac and apologizes for not spending the entire day with them, but Mac understands. Maxie flirts shamelessly with Patrick, but Georgie comes over to pull her away. Kevin arrives and drops off some presents for the family and apologizes for not being able to stay long. Kevin won’t say why, but Mac knows he plans on meeting up with his mystery love. Robin gets ready to leave when she’s surprised by the sound of a familiar voice.

“Oh I hope you have time to stay a little bit longer.”

Robin turns around and is surprised to see her mother Anna!! Robin runs over and hugs her mother, having not seen her in months. Much to Robin’s surprise, Robert shows up as well. Anna explains that she was able to get her leave earlier than expected and decided to come back earlier than expected. Anna tells her daughter that she’s here for an indefinite amount of time and would like to spend time with her. Robin is thankful for this wonderful Christmas gift. Anna convinces Robin to go over to Bobbie’s to finish her plans, then come back so they can catch up.

    - At Bobbie’s, Lucas & Brandon enjoy spending time with the family. Lucas tells Bobbie that he plans on doing something special for Brandon later and has to take off. Bobbie gives them both hugs surprisingly and wishes them a Merry Christmas. Everything is going very well at Bobbie’s until Sonny shows up….

    - Back at the Quartermaines, Monica checks her watch again. Alan asks why she keeps checking her watch, wondering if she has some place she’d much rather be. Monica uses this as an opportunity to pick a fight with Alan. As Skye & Lorenzo walk into the Mansion, Monica throws a china bowl at Alan. Edward rushes in with Alice and demands that Monica calm herself down. Alan grabs Monica’s arm and demands that she show him respect. She slaps her husband, grabs her things and heads out angrily. Ned suggests that Monica leaving was the best possible thing for the family tonight.

At the MetroCourt, Kevin gets a text message from Monica telling him she’s on her way….

    - The last thing Mac wanted was to have a face-to-face meeting with Mayor Floyd. After hearing him talk about him to Ric a few weeks back, he was still ticked. Mac has always tried to abide by the law; even if it wasn't easy, he still tried to do what was right when it comes to his precinct. Mac's thoughts were cut short when he heard the door open and Ric coming in.

"What are you doing here, Mac, said, none-to-pleased to see Ric to begin with.

"Hello to you too Mac. I came here to try to convince the Mayor to not do anything rash when it comes to your job," he said, putting his briefcase on the desk and taking a seat. "He can't possibly do anything that would ruin you."

Stifling a sarcastic laugh, Mac rolled his eyes. "How would you know, Lansing? Tell me that, how would you know? You didn't get the phone call demanding to clear your schedule so that the Mayor can have words with you."

"Mac, I have to disagree with you on that note; you see, Mayor Floyd called me and told me to meet him here as well. So, you see," Ric said, clearing his throat, "I too was told to clear my schedule. I'm here to help keep you here."

Mac was not in the mood to be pushed around or lied to, and he was at his breaking point. "Save it Ric! Mayor Floyd is gearing to boot me out on my ass; and you being here is just going to solidify that reasoning; after all, you are Sonny's brother."

Ric was about to say something when Mayor Floyd came walking into the precinct. Just from the look on his face, Ric could tell that this was not going to go well.

    - At Metro Court, Lorenzo is looking over some paperwork to regarding the surveillance of Sonny’s warehouses, when he notices Carly coming in. Slipping the papers in his attache, he makes his way towards her, hoping she would not bolt at the mere sight of him.

"Hello, Carly, how are you doing today?" he said, trying to make obvious small talk. Just a glance at her makes him weak in the knees from time to time. How could he not feel that way on occasion?

Turning around to face him, Carly smiled in his direction. "Hello, yourself, Lorenzo. How have you been doing?" she asked, offering him a seat at a table. It had been quite some awhile since she talked with Lorenzo. She couldn't help but wonder if he thought of her at times. Shaking the thought from her brain, she continues to talk to Lorenzo. "I wanted to tell you how sorry I was to hear that Diego left Port Charles. Have you hard anything from him?"

Shaking his head, he tried his best not to grow quiet at the mention of his son's name. It was hard not having his son by his side; even harder now, since he and Skye were planning not only a wedding, but to adopt a baby as well. Diego's not being there would be so evident.

"He hasn't called me at all since being gone. That's the one thing that truly bothers me; that he's remaining distant from me. I just….I made so many mistakes with him."

Carly truly felt for him. She knew all too well about how her distance toward Bobbie was what made her bitter at times; but she also knew she had to become a mature person, or at least tried to become a mature person and be able to deal with a lot of setbacks in her life.

"Lorenzo, just give it time, Diego will come around."

Lorenzo automatically sensed something different in Carly. Her whole demeanor was different; she literally had a glow about herself. "So…..what's got you so happy? I can see it all over your face."

"You noticed, huh?" she asked, smiling back at him. "I'm extremely happy these days."

"Are you back together with Sonny, is that why you are so happy?" he asked, curious if it were true that she would go back to his worst enemy. He didn't understand why she was always drawn to him; why she and he would breakup, only to get back together, time and time again.

Shaking her head, Carly made sure that Lorenzo knew she was not back with Sonny, but also made sure to keep him from learning who it really was she was going out with. "Sonny and I are not back together. He and I aren’t good for each. I will tell you that this person who I’m with now makes me very happy and makes me feel special. You know, you and I didn’t really have a chance to be together Lorenzo, but I’m glad you’ve found someone who makes you feel the way you tried to make me feel. Skye has a champion in you. You know that right?"

Smiling at her, Lorenzo stood up from the table. "Thanks. I appreciate you saying that. It means a lot, especially coming from you. Well, Carly, as always it is a pleasure to talk to you." He was about to leave, when Carly pulled him back towards her. "What is it?"

Taking a deep breath, Carly said what she had wanted to say for the longest time. "I'd like us to be friends, that is, if it won't make this awkward at all for you."

Smiling, he looked at her. "Whoever this man is you're seeing; tell him I like this side of you." Embracing one another, they both parted ways.

    - Back at General Hospital, Anna is talking to Robin about possible plans for New Year's Eve. Robin for one was trying to make sure she would spend it with Patrick; however Anna had other ideas in mind.

"Robin, darling, I think it would be wonderful if we celebrated the New Year together," Anna said, smiling at her daughter.

Rolling her eyes at her mother, Robin shook her head. "I am hoping to have plans with Patrick that night," she said, letting a smile play at her lips. She hoped Patrick had romantic plans made; but knowing him, his ideal of romance is entirely different from hers.

Both women turned the corner and practically ran into David Haywood. Anna couldn't believe her eyes; she was staring directly in the eyes of the man she was once married to. For a moment, Anna couldn't even think; all she could do was stare.

Breaking her thoughts, David smiled at both ladies, "Hello, Dr. Scorpio. Anna? Wow….I didn’t expect to see you here. How are you?" David could tell immediately that Anna was uncomfortable seeing him. "It's been a long time."

Anna, quickly switched gears, making it clear that she had no intention of being around David. Yes, they were married, yes, she loved him, but seeing him just brought back too many painful memories. "I’m doing well David. Umm..Robin weren't you going to join me for lunch?"

Looking at her mother, it was obvious that she did not want to be around David, and why she didn't know, but she could tell that she wanted to get out from around him immediately. "Yeah, that's right; we were on our way to lunch."

David immediately tried to find an opportunity to get a chance to talk to Anna, and opted to join them, "Do you suppose I could join you....I thought we could catch up...." his sentence trailed off when Robin shook her head. "Oh, okay, maybe another time," he said, looking directly at Anna.

Once he was gone, Robin looked at her mother, "What the hell was that?"

Anna gave a painful sigh, "Don't even ask, Robin. It's a long story."

    - Back at the PCPD, Mayor Floyd sat across from Mac. Ric could tell from the whole vibe that it was going to end badly for Mac, and he was afraid he would not be able to do anything to help keep Mac in his position.

"This is going to be quick. I have already made my decision, I'm sticking with it, and I'm not going to be swayed in one way or the other," he said, glaring in Ric's direction, making sure Ric knew this was a 'Don't cross me' stare.

Mac, however, was not going to just let him have the final word. "So, that's it? After all the years that I’ve served this damn city…..you’re just gonna come down here and tell me it’s over? You’re gonna tell I'm out, and just deal with it? Without explanation? Just who in the hell do you think you are?"

Mayor Floyd stood up, pushing in his chair. "I’ll attribute your last comment to your anger so I’ll let that little piece slide. I will admit you are a good commissioner, however, you don't see the bigger picture when it comes to putting an end to organized crime. Tell me, how many times have you tried to bring down Sonny Corinthos or Jason Morgan or Faith Roscoe or the Smith Organization or The Alcazars, only to fall flat on your face? Here you have 3 crime lords still being able to walk around free to cause a lot of misery my city. You had your chance, many chances. You couldn’t stop them, so now someone else will have that opportunity."

Ric was about to speak but stopped short when Mayor Floyd shot daggers his way. "Malcolm Scorpio, effective immediately, you are hereby relieved of your post as Commissioner. I expect your office to be cleaned out by the first. Mr. Lansing, you are to appoint an officer to escort Mr. Scorpio to his office to clean it out. Should you wish to return to active duty, then you may. It’s up to the discretion of the new Commissioner. Oh, and Mac, have a Happy New Year!"

    - Nikolas, who was arrived at Metro Court a couple of minutes after Carly left, checked his watch, hoping that Lainey would meet with him. He had a lot of questions to ask regarding Sam, and he needed answers, as well as help.

He just couldn't understand how Lucky could have kept her being alive a secret, knowing that she has memory loss; but he was going to make it right. He was going to get Sam back to the way she once was; he had to.

Lainey made her way in his direction; She could see from the look on Nikolas' face that it was serious. "Let's sit at that table in the corner," she instructed, leading the way. "So, what's up?"

Swallowing hard, Nikolas didn't know how to begin. Should he tell Lainey that Sam was indeed alive? Should he use the whole, 'I have a friend' approach, or should he just ask simple questions. Thinking for a second, he realized that the best way to help Sam was to come forward and be honest with Lainey.

"First off, I expect whatever it is I tell you has to be kept confidential. I need you to agree to that before I continue to share what I have to say."

"Okay, I can keep what we discuss between us," Lainey agreed, very interested in what he had to share with her. "Tell me what is troubling you."

"You remember all the press from the kidnapping situation that happened over the summer right? Well….I recently learned that my cousin Sam, who everyone thought was killed in the explosion, is alive," he said, taking a sip of his drink. "She survived the ordeal with Helena; however, she doesn’t remember much of what happened then or before. Her memory is very spotty. I need you to help her piece together what she can't remember." Nik stared deep into her eyes, hoping she would in fact be the answer to Sam's situation. "Can you help her, Dr. Winters? I don’t care how much it costs. I’ll pay you triple. I just….I need you to help me. Will you? Can you help me get Sam's memory back?"

Lainey was at a complete loss for words at what Nikolas shared with her. She contemplates what do. After taking in all the possibilities and the kind of publicity this could give her, she agrees to help.

    - Elizabeth couldn’t figure out why she was feeling the way she was. She loved Lucky; however, she still craved Jason. Picking up toys from the floor, she walked to the toy chest to put them away. Her mind slowly flashed back to her steamy kisses with Jason, the two of them obviously wanting to do much more. Next, her thoughts would flash to Lucky; picturing his smile, hearing his soothing words; his anger whenever he saw her now. Things were way too complicated for her. What she wanted now was to be happy; not only for herself, but for her son’s sake.

The telephone rings, and Liz reaches for the receiver. “Hello?” she answers, wondering, or more like hoping it was Lucky on the phone.

    - At the Quartermaine mansion, Edward decides to call the family together to discuss how are they going to break the news about AJ to Carly and Michael. While AJ just wants to head straight over to Carly's and just spring it on her, Edward has other ideas that he wanted to run by them.

"I suppose it should be Monica who extends the invitation... it is her house after all." Edward said snidely.

"Yes Edward it is my house and perhaps you should not forget that." She replied sternly. Giving Edward the hint that he could be out on his ear in a flash if she so wished it.

“Now, look, we have got to see Michael more times than you can count while you were gone, AJ. You coming back to town better not screw this up,” Edward says as he glares at AJ. “Which is why I do not want you to rush over to Carly. If we want to have visitation, I want Carly to come to us, have her find out from us before she sees you. It may take time, but right now, this is the best way possible.”

AJ gets up and throws his hand in the air.

“I am not one to sit back and let the chips fall where they may, Granddad. I take action. And if you think that I am just going to sit idly by and wait for Carly, then you are sadly mistaken. She doesn't want me to have anything to do with Michael, so what on earth makes you think that this idea of yours will change her mind?”

    - At Kelly's, Maxie walks in and sees Georgie working behind the counter. She tries to start a conversation w/ Georgie, but she doesn't want to talk to Maxie. Maxie, faking concern, wonders what is wrong. Georgie tells her it has to do with Dillon, that ever since Christmas, he has been acting strangely. Georgie excuses herself and runs out. Maxie then goes over to the table and sits down.

Looking across from her table, she could see Lucas and Brandon talking together. It was time she put Dillon’s secret feelings for him out in the open. Maybe then Dillon would wake up and accept that he was jealous of Brandon’s love for Lucas.

Letting a smile play at her lips, she thought back to her seeing Dillon embracing Lucas in a hug; seeing how distracted he’d get whenever Lucas would walk into a room, and the most obvious jealousy he displayed when he saw Brandon and Lucas being affected with one another. Yes. It was time to set the gears in motion; before Dillon even knew what hit him, Lucas would soon learn that his close friend had the hots for him.

    - “Liz, its Nikolas. I need you to do me a favor, okay,” he requested on the other end of the phone. Hopefully, she would comply and do what she was asked. He simply could not stand having both Lucky and Elizabeth avoiding each other. He also couldn’t stand seeing her around Jason constantly. It was time for Lucky and Liz to get together and talk out their feelings.

“What is it Nikolas? I really have a lot to do today,” she said, hoping that the lie would be convincing.

“It won’t take up your day, trust me. I need you to go pick up the belated Christmas present I got Cameron. I forgot to send it to him, and I really want him to have it,” Nik said, crossing his fingers, hoping she would take the bait.

Elizabeth groaned softly, looking at her watch. “Can’t you just drop it off to me tomorrow? Like I said, I have a lot of things to do today.”

‘Liz, just go to Lucky’s and ask him for the present. He’ll give it to you, and you can do whatever it is you need to do. Like I said, I really want Cameron to get it today.”

Turning to look at a picture of Lucky and Cameron, Liz could feel the tears beginning to burn her eyes. Without giving her sadness away, she agreed to pick up the gift. “Fine, I’ll go pick up the present. Does Lucky know that I am…”she questioned, but before she could finish her sentence, Nikolas hung up on her.

    New Opening Video

    - Monica joined the rest of the family and told them their guests would be showing up very soon. While Monica poured herself a stiff drink, the family came up with something to tell Carly, Sonny and Jason, once they arrived.

    - Sliding off the couch, Liz walked around the apartment, waiting for Lucky to come back with Cameron’s gift. When he returned, she could feel the tension return in the air. “I like how you’ve fixed up the apartment…” her voice trailed off, as she took the present from him.

Smiling a little, Lucky looked around as well. “It’s not much, but it will do.” The more he stared at Elizabeth, the more he wanted to have her back; the more he wanted to just forget about everything and just take her back. “So, how is Cameron doing? I imagine he is having fun playing with all the toys he got for Christmas.”

    - In what seemed like less than 20 minutes, Edward began to bellow for Alice to answer the door. Alice did and she showed the guests into the room where the family had been conversing for some time.

    - It was Elizabeth’s turn to smile. “He’s doing fine and he’s absolutely love playing with his toys. He keeps me up most nights wanting to play longer.” Sitting the gift down on the table, Elizabeth looked at Lucky for a quick moment. “Do you mind if I use your bathroom really quick?”

Nodding, Lucky showed her the way. “Is everything okay?” It was hard not to continue caring for Elizabeth. He and she may be apart, but she was still his wife, and his heart would never stop loving or caring about her.

    - When Nikolas, Carly, Sonny and Jason entered the room, Michael stops in his tracks when he notices AJ behind the door. Carly calls Michael over, unaware of what he has seen. Nikolas taps Carly on the shoulder. AJ completely comes from behind the door, making his presence known.

While Sonny and Jason stand staring at AJ in disbelief, they also try to keep Michael from seeing him. Carly flips out and curses at AJ. Monica tries to calm her down but she pushes past her and slaps AJ across the face.

    - “I’m okay, I just drank too much at lunch today, that’s all,” she answered back, closing the door the bathroom.

When she does so, she is taken aback by what she sees in the bathroom. There, in her face, the truth she can’t deny. She's overwhelmed with emotions as she takes a step back from the door. She knocks over the holder on the sink with the toothbrushes onto the floor. Her hand goes to her stomach. She feels her heart sink as she realizes someone new now fills Lucky's heart.

Shortly after, she returned back to the main entrance of the apartment. “Well, I better get going. Grams is probably wondering where I am,” she said, picking up Cameron’s gift in a hurry.

Lucky doesn’t even get the chance to walk her to the door. She’s out of the place in such a hurry. Lucky was about to say something, but kept quiet. Instead, he watched as she walked out the door. Closing it behind him, he sat on the couch, wondering if either one of them would find their way back to one another.

    - "I guess I deserved that too." AJ said as he rubbed his jaw with the palm of his hand.

"You guess?! You guess?! What were you thinking?! Oh that's right, you weren't thinking!" Carly shouted at AJ, furious with him for being alive and putting Michael through all the pain thinking his father was dead.

AJ knew he deserved the verbal beating he was about to get from Carly. He understood why she was furious with him; Michael deserved to know the truth. Carly backed up from AJ and gave him some space as Sonny and Jason stepped forward.

"So what's the excuse this time, Junior?" Nikolas says trying not to pounce on the man who is making Carly upset.

"Yes, AJ, I think we'd all like to hear your excuse for faking your death?" Jason questioned as Sonny stepped closer.

"Do you have any idea what you have put Michael through? Do you?" Sonny lectured.

“You’ve got some nerve Sonny. This wasn’t a one sided thing. I made mistakes, but so have you. Hell, maybe if you hadn’t stolen Michael from me, I wouldn’t have made so many damn mistakes,” says AJ glaring at Sonny.

“Carly, everyone. Please listen to what he has to say,” says Monica. “Once he explains you may feel differently.”

"Oh this had better be good. You need to do some explaining to him, to us, to everyone!" Carly replied as she stepped back to protect Michael, keeping him close to her.

    - Outside, Elizabeth falls in the snow. She begins to cry uncontrollably. What she saw….she just can’t shake what she saw while in the bathroom. Hanging on the door hook of the bathroom was a white lace-trimmed nightgown and a red silk robe. All she could think of was one thing….that she is responsible for loosing Lucky. How could Lucky see another woman?

    - An argument ensued between the family and Sonny, Jason and Carly, no one noticed Michael wiggle away from the protective cover he had between his parents. He got up on the coffee table and bellowed, "Shut up!"

The family became really quiet and looked surprised to see him towering over them.
AJ was finally able to explain the best he could to his son that he had to leave for a while, but that he never meant to cause him hurt or pain. AJ reveals that he was torn into pieces after realizing how wrong it was for him to kidnap Michael and make others believe he was dead. He was desperate and stupid for thinking he could kidnap Michael and force him to accept him as his father. After he was hospitalized after his fight with Jason, he could do nothing but think while in his hospital bed. He thought about all the horrible things he’s done over the past few years and how it never worked out for him in the end.

He asked Dr. Thomas to help him fake his death once again, so he could spare the family and Michael anymore pain. He didn’t however know how he would do it and didn’t know that he would brainwash Michael into accusing Carly and then making him believe that he did it. It wasn’t until a few months ago that he actually found out what Dr. Thomas did. Maybe it was the fact that he was lonely or maybe he wanted to make amends, but something told him to come back and fix his life. He came back because he loved him and he saw what his actions did to hurt Michael. He never intended for Dr. Thomas to traumatize him and if it could do it all over again, he would do things differently.

Michael rightfully upset with AJ, began stomping his foot on the coffee table. The Quartermaines grimaced in pain because it was a very expensive coffee table and a rare one at that. One that is not easily replaced. As family members tried to get Michael down off the antique coffee table, Monica quietly snuck away from the chaos in the hopes of meeting Kevin for some well needed appreciation and attention.

Michael was not happy with AJ for faking his death and was quite upset with him. Nikolas suggests to Carly that she go with Sonny decided to take Michael home to cool off, as Jason followed close behind, leaving his lasting stare for everyone in the room.

"Gee, that went well, don't you think?" Alan remarked sarcastically as Alice followed the guests to the front door to show them out.

    New Opening Video

    - Noah just finished his shift at the hospital and all he could think about while there was Bobbie. It was obvious that Bobbie was hurt by something; why else would she be contemplating drinking again? Just the thought of her holding the bottle of rum sent chills down his spine. What happened that Christmas night? He truly was worried about her, and he couldn’t help but want to go check up on her; try to talk to her, and be there for her.

“I thought your shift was over. What are you still doing here?” Patrick questioned, snapping Noah out of his thoughts. “You do know you can go home, don’t you, you don’t have to stand in the middle of the hospital wondering what to do,” he said, obviously trying to make a joke that fell flat. “Dad, it was a joke. What’s the matter with you?”

    - Monica sits in her office thinking about what went wrong in her relationship with Alan, and what’s going right in her relationship with Kevin. Can she call what they’ve been doing a relationship? It feels like one…except they have to be together in secret. Oh the thought of being able to kiss Kevin in public just…..she can’t wait. But now is not the time for the truth to come out. Her thoughts are interrupted when Georgie knocks on her door.

“Sorry for interrupting you Dr. Quartermaine.” Georgie says apologetically. “I have a delivery for you.”

    “What is it?” asks Monica.

“I’m not sure. I was told that you’ll have to sign for it though.”

Monica signs for the package and dismisses Georgie.

    - At the Quartermaine Mansion, Alan walks into the den and finds AJ staring at a picture of Michael when he was a child. Alan walks over to him and puts his hand on his shoulder. AJ looks up and just shakes his head.

“I don’t know how I’m gonna fix this Dad. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to have a relationship with Michael…especially after the things I’ve done to him.” Says AJ with a frown.

“You’re making good steps in recognizing that you’ve made mistakes,” says Alan comforting his son. “It takes a big man to admit when he’s been wrong, and though you’ve made a lot of mistakes, you want to make up for them. I couldn’t be more proud of you right now.”

“You know I look at you and the way you’ve raised all of us and I’m envious.” AJ gets up and walks over towards the fireplace. “You loved us unconditionally. No matter how much we’ve disappointed you, you always wanted the best for us.”

    “I wasn’t perfect AJ.”

“But you tried your best to love us through our faults,” AJ says as he turns to his father. “I didn’t do that for Michael. I say I love Michael, but I didn’t show him any love. I wanted to possess him. I wanted to prove what a horrible father you were to me, by being a great father to Michael, but I went about in the wrong way.”

“I played favorites with you and Jason and it affected you. I praised him and everything he did, while I criticized you for the mistakes that you made and I’m sorry. I should have never done that to you and Jason.”

    “What am I gonna do?”

“You’re going to make up for the things you’ve done. It may take a year, it may take forever, but you will show your son that you actually care about him. And I’ll help you.” Alan says as he hugs his son. “I’ll help you try to repair your relationship with Michael.”

    - Looking at his son, Noah tried to pull himself out of his worries. “Nothing, nothing at all, I was just thinking about something.” Trying to put a smile on his face, Noah attempted to change gears. “So, tell me, how was your Christmas and New Year’s with Robin?”

Patrick felt his cheeks growing warm at the mention of Robin’s name. “It was ….it was wonderful. We had a wonderful time, and celebrated the New Year in style.” Patrick was not about to give intimate details of his scorching night with Robin Scorpio. Not a chance in hell would he ever do that. “Dad, I got to go,” he said, hastily, trying to keep from being asked anymore questions. Slapping him on the back, he ended with. “Get some sleep.”
Walking towards the elevator, Noah opted not to sleep, but to go to check on the person who’s been on his mind all day.

    - At the hospital, Monica opens up the package to find another piece with an image of her and Kevin on it. With the piece is a note, letting her know that this person knows her secret and wonders if Alan knows what she’s up to. Monica burns the letter and throws a book at her wall. She flashes back to her and Kevin making love. It dawns on her that the only person who could be doing this is Lucy. Monica takes off to go confront Lucy.

    - The crowd begins to gather on the steps of City Hall. The media is aware that Mayor Floyd will be making a big announcement in a few minutes. Mac, Robert, Lucky and Cruz are among the many in attendance. Ric and Alexis, fresh from their trip to Greece stand at the Mayor’s side as he walks to the podium.

Mayor Floyd: Ladies and gentleman, thank you for joining me here today. I know that you all have taken time from your jobs to come here today, so I won’t take too much of your time. For the past 10 plus years, the Port Charles Police Department hasn’t had the best reputation for solving crimes. The citizens have spoken to me and let me know that they don’t feel safe in this town anymore. Unfortunately I had to make a decision that pained me very much, as of 3 weeks ago; Malcolm Scorpio is no longer the Police Commissioner. I respect his dedication to the PCPD and thank him for all of the great work that he has done….but it wasn’t enough.

Reporter: Mayor! Who have you chosen to replace him?

Mayor: If you let me finish Harry I’ll tell you. After much consideration, I’ve decided to go with someone who has, in my opinion, a great record on getting rid of crime. My selection is no stranger to the PCPD and is no stranger to police work in general. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, your newest Commissioner of Police………Anna Devane!

Anna walks through the double door leading to where the Mayor is standing. Alexis claps very strongly, happy to see a woman in position of authority. Robert smiles at Anna, who smiles back at him. Mac shoots a glare at Robert, then Anna. Anna just smiles while near the podium, making sure the photographers get a great shot and prepares to speak as General Hospital comes to an end.

On the next GH: Secrets & Lies-

    - Anna declares war on organized crime in Port Charles
    - Mac feels insulted by Anna’s comments during her speech
    - Lainey gives Nikolas her opinion regarding Sam’s condition
    - Sam reveals to Lucky why she feels connected to him
