Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Miami is moving to Sunday's, at least for one night and we have a new ATL special. I believe they're promoting this because it's the big slap episode with Joanna and Adrianna. I wonder if RHOM will still air on the previous thursday, the 25th.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I do think a big reason this season started poorly in the ratings is due to 1) The boring first few episodes & 2) The fact that it launched when two series were airing and doing so well at that time. Same reason Miami is lost in Thursdays, but that show is worse off because it's new and doesn't have an existing following. I don't think RHONY suffered because of what happened last season. I think if they had truly brought it viewers would've tuned in. RHONJ will be the one to watch next year. I really feel they need to be even more retooled than New York in order to remain viable. Next season the HWs need to have actual storylines instead of this Everyone vs Teresa. I don't even wanna see Teresa plus 1/2 friends vs the others. I need new storylines. New fueds. A good mix of things. That show has always been so single minded. Season One - That damn book and everything was leading towards that table flip. Season Two - Everyone against Danielle Season Three & Four - The downfall of Teresa Beyond those main storylines everything is filler. I need more than that.

Well I think everybody dresses in clothes that they like and think makes them look good, I still find her personal style bland for a designer. Her clothes just look dated, cheap and inappropriate for her age. Her bathing suits are RIDICULOUS. I think Jill was right here. The ratings started really low and they only sparked with the St. Barth's episodes, but never reached what they were getting last season. They didn't have one episode over 2 million. I don't think it was a HUGE failure, but it wasn't a clear success. I think this season did it's job of retooling the series, but now that it's stable they need to bring it next year.

I think Heather, for a designer and a stylist looked terrible the entire season and at the reunion. Her style is either tacky or forgettable. Aviva may have bad skin, look 60 and be a bitch, but she has a banging body and knows how to dress it. Same for the other ladies mostly. I think Ramona and Heather were the worst in terms of fashion. I found Jill's return interview interesting. She shed light on some of the behind the scenes things that go on, but she did seem a bit delusional. I don't know what happened to her after season two, but she needs to blame herself. She's come off poorly far too much to blame Bravo or Bethenny. She even made it clear how hard she pushed for storylines. Like she said, she has an interesting family to feature so she didn't need to create a feud with Bethenny. We already know they tried to get Alex back for season five when filming started poorly so I don't think a return for Jill was out of the question. I DO think that she probably blew it based on this interview with Andy. I would love to see Alex on WWHL again, in a regular setting, not a one-on-one interview. I could see her successfully working her way back in and playing the game the right way. Silex has already been on once since getting fired.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I didn't say no sides should be taken and nothing should be discussed. What I was saying is that there is so much more to dicuss beyond what's on screen. Especially if the show is bringing real life into things by mentioned the magazine.

I know it's a tv show, but the scripting of it is very relevant as well. That's a major part of the show. Just because the show says it's true, doesn't mean something is.

Why is everybody, fans and the cast acting like the edited show is accurate? We all know the Fabelini party with Dina was aired out of order on the show, yet you still have Jaquline crying in talking heads about how her friend didn't invite her. This was after the Posche fashion show and reunion when they stopped speaking! Plus, Dina revealed they edited the conversation to make it sound like she was talking about Caroline and she wasn't, yet everybody acts like the Bravo script is correct. And as for setting Melissa up, who the hell cares if she was a stripper? If this is a setup it's obviously a BRAVO setup against Teresa. Look at the end result, Melissa came out looking like roses. We know (confirmed by Danielle AND Kim G) that both were contacted by producers to return for the Posche fashion show. The original storyline was supposed to be Danielle returning and exposing how Melissa contacted her to get on the show and trash Teresa. When Danielle turned them down they decided to bring on Kim G to fued with Teresa. When Kim G turned them down they decided to do this stripper thing with Melissa, which would turn the cast against Teresa for trying to cause drama in her family. Let's not act like this is real and not heavily scripted. The situations and story arcs are setup and the cast reactions are genuine. This is why Cat Rodriguez, the previous producer, was fired.

Okay, this really pisses me off. I saw an article that season two of Shah's of Sunset will premiere December 2nd, so it's going to air every Sunday after RHOA. Yet RHOM was stuck on Thursday nights away from everything. That pisses me off. In the past they've always scheduled new shows after popular ones, at least in the beginning, to give it a quick boost. It feels like they aren't even trying.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
All of Teresa's cover stories are about her own life, not the other wives. The one mentioning the other wives was a story where she apologized to them. Compare that to the cover Melissa had, which she only got because it was to bash Teresa. I think Teresa has already proven she can stand up on her own without the other ladies. Celebrity Apprentice and her books have proven that. She doesn't need the other ladies to get press.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Haters can hate, but Teresa is the star of this show and I do think thats a huge part of why the other ladies dislike her. Since season 1 she's the main reason viewers tune in. She's the one providing the action, especially with Danielle gone. Everything in seasons 3 and 4 is centered around Teresa. Say you keep the other four housewives and dump Teressa, you have no show. This is why I don't understand why they seem so Anti-Teresa, especially Andy Cohen. She's his star! She's the one housewife I truly feel, if she left she'd get her own show. There is no doubt vh1 would pick her up and she'd have a huge, highly rated show. The same can't be said about the others.

New Jersey fans, there will be a surprise airings of Part 3 of the reunion before RHOM tonight. Andy mentioned it on WWHL, but what is the point if it won;t be promoted?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Knowing she was lying, I didn't feel much sympathy for her. I understand it was a horrific accident, but she only lost her foot in the accident. She CHOSE to have the rest of the leg amputated as an adult for comfort. Aviva is one of the most stuck up, prejudice people I've ever seen on a show like this. She uses her accident for sympathy, but she's LUCKY. How many people could afford a swimming leg? She's been privileged her entire life and as far as being an amputee she's had it easy.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Aviva came off so poorly on the reunion. I did love when Ramona and Sonja (who were remarkably calm and lucid) called her out on only apologizing AFTER the public backlash against her behavior. Before the season began, throughout the season and even after the first St. Barth's episode aired, Aviva maintained she was right and that Ramonja were trash and despicable people. She only backtracked in her blog for the SECOND episode once she already knew people didn't agree with her. Beyond that she STILL doesn't seem sincere in her apologies. It's very odd. Carole was shockingly unprepared for a writer. I figured she'd have her one liners planned and also know what topics would be discussed. She seemed thrown off guard when anything negative was brought to her attention. What planet is she living on? It made her come off a bit sheltered and self centered. Heather, LuAnn and Ramonja kept me entertained. This was a nice reunion that wasn't as dark as New Jersey, which gets draining after a while. It was civil, but an entertaining wrap up.

Melrose Place
I liked Andrea myself, she was cute and spunky and had great chemistry with Brandon. Andrea died when they went to college and she got pregnant and an awful haircut and the worst cast husband in history. I did like when she returned in season 6 or 7 for a reunion episode. I wouldn't have her in a ton of episodes, but she could be useful. They could've had her as the school principal.

Melrose Place
Oh I absolutely think the 90210 revival would've had stronger ratings had Brenda and Kelly been regulars with meaningful stories. They were a big part of many people tuned into that first season. Brenda's return after so many years was pretty heartbreaking. What was the point of it? It was terrible. I think they could've had Brenda, Kelly, Andrea and maybe Steve and Lindsay with some new leading men and a smaller group of teens and you'd have a balanced show that pleases both new and old 90210 fans and you'd have higher ratings. Considering how high 90210 started and where it's at now, that's shameful. ABC Family shows that you can do a teen/adult soap and get good ratings if the quality is good. CW blew their best shot at a true ratings victory. With Melrose, if it was brought back again I agree that I would bring Lisa Rinna back. I actually think they should've put her in Sydney's place on the original reboot. She's the only character that could've made sense there. She already had the relationship with Michael and also the long lost child. I don't understand why they brought Sydney back from the dead only to immediately kill her. I understand she wasn't their first choice, but it didn't make sense.

That drag queen that would NEVER make it on RuPaul's Drag Race needs to sit down with his receding hairline. He just seems so desperate and his attempts to create drama are so transparent. I hope they don't give him the satisfaction of an appearance at the reunion.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It's been on Bravo's front page since it aired. This is up there with Nene vs Kim on WWHL. Basically, a foolish Joanna called in to defend herself against the recent hooker allegations and attack Adriana while shew as at it. Adriana ate her alive and had Joanna stumbling over her words and looking like a fool. Can.not.wait.for.the.reunion. Video: http://www.bravotv.c...vs-joanna-krupa Adriana was to calm while Joanna was talking so I didn't know how it would go, but she snatched that bitches weave right out of her scalp. ETA: Here is the full RHOM theme song, sung by Adriana. Not a bad song actually and her vocals are good compared to most housewives songs. Karent is absolutely a Latin Susan Lucci. I also agree with the Adrienne/Lisa comparisons. I've always thought that. Elsa is the most beautiful though. Speaking of, I got an email from Marysol because my Havana Elsa coffee had been sent back. Somehow I wrote the wrong address LOL. I was wondering what had happened to it. As time goes on Adrianna has absolutely become my favorite. She is perfection and I rank her with the best of the best in terms of housewives. After her WWHL smackdown of Joanna and this last episode she's my new goddess. Her interpretation of Karent with the artist was just classic.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I don't recall the level of promo for DC, but it's ratings were similar to what New York has this season, around 1.6-1.8 million. Ratings-wise they could've brought the show back. I think the Salahi backlash caused them not to touch it. Some stories said they'd only bring it back with the Salahi's, but the other wives balked at that idea. Other reports said they couldn't get any new people to sign up. Also, the reunion of DC was used as the intro to Beverly Hills' low rated first episode. Before it was the Bravo way to launch the new shows off of a previous seasons reunions. It baffles me that they haven't done that with Miami yet. I feel like it's just wasting away.

Diamond and Rasheeda did a lot of songs together as well, so that's a friendship you could expect on the show If Rasheeda sticks around.

Melrose Place
After the success of Dallas, it makes me so sad to see how the legacy of 90210 and Melrose Place was ruined with those stupid CW sequels. 90210 in particular could've been a HUGE hit had they compiled a cast of mostly original cast members with some new ones sprinkled in. I would've had Andrea Zuckerman as Principal, keep Kelly as Guidance Counselor and make Hannah and Silver the lead younger cast members. Then get Shannon Doherty back full time and work on getting some of the guys back. With Melrose Place you can't look at that cast photo and tell me that isn't a show you can sell. As bad as FOX is doing this season they should look into a proper Melrose Place reboot. I get the feeling the writers of the last one didn't watch the original. The tone was completely different as was the writing for everyone. I mean to think they wanted to kill Amanda in the pilot, that says it all.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I LOVE all three of the new girls, but they're the main reason the early episodes were so dull. Carole I enjoy the most, but she's not the type to do things that will create ratings. Heather took a while to heat up and Aviva was completely dull until she started fighting with Ramona. I think overall the season was carried by Ramona, Sonja and Heather, with Aviva stepping up at the end and Carole providing a Bethenny-esque Greek chorus. LuAnn was useless and desperate this season, but I found her likable. I do feel when she wasn't trying to create a storyline she seemed so sweet and funny. I wish she'd let her hair down more often. I wonder how the season would've gone had Cat from RHODC accepted the offer to join the show. Obviously she and LuAnn would be total enemies so that would be a complete shift. I wonder if she would've came off worse than Aviva.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
They had no choice but end filming. They kept extending it, I believe by a couple of months and finally the three original girls refused to continue filming. I agree with them in this case. They did their job from day one, it's not their fault the new girls came in, mostly sucked and now they have to work overtime to salvage things for the new girls. It's a shame Alex McCord didn't take the Friend of Housewives gig though. I have no doubt when the saw footage coming in they would've quickly upgraded her and that probably would've helped the early episodes be more interesting. Alex vs LuAnn has more organic conflict than LuAnn desperately trying to create a fued with Ramona. Everybody started the season with no conflict so it was bound to be dull. I think overall this season did what it needed to do. People complained the previous season was too busy, so despite good ratings 4 cast members were fired, including two very popular ones. When the show came back it allowed viewers to get to know the new characters before things kicked off. Eventually it worked out. Going into next season I think they have a cast that can work for a couple of years. They need to consider dumping Aviva though and will have to be smart when bringing in one or two new wives next year.
