  1. This season is entertaining reality tv but the girls are lackluster. I hate how lazy they are when it comes to the challenges and lipsyncs. They have a huge opportunity and are so ungrateful. I'm sure some of y'all know I'm a drag queen and it is a dream to get on this show! In my town I won a local contest called which got me a spot with the top drag promoter in my city. One of the perks is performing with the girls. From this season I'll say the two HUGE surprises were Farrah Moan and Kimora. Farrah is from my area and has THE WORST reputation. Her hometown (Austin) didn't even want to book her and when they did for a viewing party it was a disaster. With that said, she was an absolute sweetheart when I met her. Not just being polite either. She spoke to me and the girls all night and was very friendly. Same for Kimora. Now the disappojting one? Valentina. She was nice to me but the show has definitely gone to her head. Total diva and very rude to the fans meeting her and people helping.
  2. I'm glad Kandi was vindicated as this season ended and it looks like the reunion will be a triumph for her. Kandi is my favorite and is the only housewife who is 100% honest and shows the good and the bad of her life each season. She doesn't get the credit she deserves. She carried this entire season! I cannot wait for this reunion! I just wish they'd cut the last two episodes so we could've already seen the finale (which looks good) and jump into the reunion. Season Ten is shaping up to be epic. I don't expect Porsha and Phaedra to be back. At best we might see one of them, but I could easily see both leaving, especially with Kim and Nene back.
  3. What the hell happened with NYC? The production values were top notch, that opening is stunning and everything looks so expensive. This is fast becoming the franchise to watch. I know some don't like Bethenny or Carole, but this cast is PERFECT in my opinion. We will see about Tinsley, but for the past two-three years they just seem so dependable to entertain me and not overwhelm me with darkness. I literally can't give you one complaint about this season opener.
  4. I LOVED Central Park West in its original form. If it were on another network it would've been huge, but the retool felt very dated and I didn't like the casting changes or new writing. Pacific Palisades I remember enjoying. Was it Melrose? No, but it had an interesting cast and is fun to watch. Nothing more and nothing less.
  5. Potomac taglines aren't bad. It helps that the opening is so well done. I don't even mind that they reused the other girls looks. I'm excited for Potomac! I'm over RHOA and ready for a big season ten and I'm SO excited for RHOC which is finally getting a mini-reboot which hopefully means the storylines and alliances can evolve. RHONJ I couldn't care less about unless they give me a reason to. Can't wait for RHONY which has surprisingly now become the most consistent.
  6. They de-aged the leads, but that's smart. I always felt Linda Evans seemed too old to play the young trophy wife. Maybe she wasn't and just looked that way though. I surely can't imagine her as Pamela on Dallas. She just looks so manly and old to me. So far I'm pleased with the age of Blake and Cristel and I look forward to seeing who they cast as Alexis. Daytime Confidential had the best Wishful Casting, Zoe Lucker who played Tanya Turner on Footballers Wives. She has basically already played the role and would absolutely slay it.
  7. I love that Obama didn't respond himself, but had his spokesperson do it. That shows he just doesn't care about Trump. Not what he wanted I can assure you.
  8. Oh those taglines are the worst! Hopefully that isn't true.
  9. Woooooow see I assumed she was upset about the lesbian thing. No wonder this developed into a deeper anger for Kandi. Accusing someone of conspiring to drug and rape you is VERY serious. I also need to get to the reunion so Phaedra can finally get called out for being the one who actually started this rumor. This is M-E-S-S-Y and also why Kandi is the MVP of RHOA. She's not the loudest or best shade thrower, but she's the most honest and always has her own storylines, money and very interesting relationships with the ladies.
  10. I think Beverly Hills is EXCELLENT this year. We finally got back to what I enjoy about these franchises: the glamour, trips, day-to-day life and showcasing family. Many said it was slow, but I LOVED that for the early episodes we were just re-introducing the ladies and dealing with their lives with minimal drama. I LOVE that the main thing they were fighting over was Erika's panties and silly things like that. I don't want to see all this life or death feuding with them wanting to kill each other. That's too toxic. They found the sweet spot IMO. Now with Kim's alcoholism being brought back it could've been a downer, but Rinna getting caught in her lie and LVP's reaction has added a comedic element to it. I would say keep this cast and do more of the same for next year. My only thing is I'd let go Eden and Camille NEEDS to be full time.
  11. Fallon was only interesting in the first and last seasons so I tend to give Emma Samms a bit more credit than most. I wish the writing had stayed as in was in season one for her, but when Joan Collins joined they completely defanged her and turned her into a weepy heroine. At least Emma Samms was over the top and at times hilarious as Fallon, especially on The Colbys where I enjoyed her. Pamela Sue Martin completely gave up once the writing was gone, hence why she quit the show. One interesting thing is that she almost returned the final season but when David Paulsen met Emma Samms he thought she had so much more personality and spunk than what he saw on screen so he decided to give her another chance. I wonder how it would've been had Pamela Sue Martin returned.
  12. The Matthew return was bad, but hardly the worst thing to happen. The crazy writing started in season three and just got progessively worse until things finally improved during the final season. I truly don't believe there was one well executed story between seasons 3-8. You had a collection of interesting and fun scenes and catfights and larger than life characters, but the stories made no sense. For me Dynasty is seasons 1-2, 9 and The Colbys (which was MILES better than given credit for). My feelings on Dynasty are probably why I'm not so up in arms about this reboot. Dynasty along with Falcon Crest both stand to gain the most from a reboot because they weren't that great to begin with. Falcon Crest was certainly much better, but still all over the map at times and was VERY plot driven. The changes I'm seeing to Dynasty are in line with a remake, not a reboot and that's fine. They can add new characters, omit others and change things if they want. If Psycho taught us anything is that there is no point in a shot-by-shot reboot. I'm going to be interested until they give me a reason not to be. So far the cast is shaping up nicely and I look forward to seeing where they film and things of that nature.
  13. When Kandi says Porsha is lying she's talking about denying how she came onto Kandi and about the sex dungeon and Kandi's 7 year relationship with a woman. I believe Kandi because especially with Bedroom Kandi, if she had a sex dungeon it would've already been a storyline on the show.
  14. I hated James, but I LOVED Michelle and especially Callie. Callie was underrated among core fans because she was a later season character, but the actress was very good and I liked most of her stories. I do wish they'd done more with Lucy when she returned though. Especially with younger characters like Michelle and Callie to interact with. They didn't work enough on building that younger generation which could've helped the later seasons more.
  15. Kandi said on WWHL that she never finds out during filming that it was actually Phaedra who started the lesbian rumors. I find that so odd that nobody said anything, particularly Porsha who took all the heat for it. The reunion is going to be F-I-R-E! That'll be the first time Kandi can confront her and you can tell she is ready. On this whole subject I believe Kandi and not Porsha. Kandi has never been shy about what she does and has no reason to lie. She's the most honest housewife in history IMO. She always brings it with story no matter what, the good bad and ugly. Porsha looked so shocked as Kandi was spraying her tea and her comebacks seemed obviously made up to deflect. Smh Toyota, do better. Kandi has never been successfully taken down and I wish the ladies would stop trying. Kim, Nene and Phaedra have all tried and failed. Kandi hits you with facts and honesty. I will ALWAYS be Team Kandi over anyone. Potomac - That new trailer is much better and it looks G O O D! I cannot wait! The new housewife is just everything. So beautiful and clearly she'll hit the ground running. Giselle is not coming off well in the trailer though. I'm not sure what she's thinking. Look forward to seeing whats happening with Karen and The Black Bill Gates....
  16. LOL Yes! I was confused because she seemed young to be an "aunt." Makes sense now that yall tell me she wasn't truly their Aunt. Maybe they used the black thing where you call a family friend Aunt or Uncle.
  17. It doesn't sound that different, just updated. It's a remake so I'm not surprised. I'm interested and look forward to seeing how it looks. I love that they're taking their notes from season one which was the best season of the original. It had a REALLY strong opening hook that led in perfectly to Alexis' arrival. I'm very curious who they will get to play her and when they'll bring her on. Jamey Giddeons mentioned he's read the script and the only thing he mentioned is that everybody is younger. That doesn't bother me. I always thought Linda Evans looked too old to pull off the younger wife thing so I like that their ages are adjusted accordingly. I'm curious what the full cast will look like. Just what Carrington's and Colby's will launch the show. Will Steven be around still? Cecil with Jeff? Will they include the Blaisdel's? I hope not on the latter part. I also wonder if they'll pull from later season additions like Adam, Dominique, Sammy Jo, etc.
  18. [video] Who is this? I read on her Wikipedia she played the recurring role of Julia Winters for ten years but only 40 episodes. I've never caught an episode with her or heard of her. I liked her from the clips and think it's interesting they had her popping in and out as a recurring family member. I loved when Y&R used to do that. It makes the families feel more real. Can anybody tell me more about her?
  19. Stephanie said that isn't true. I'm sure they're getting paid, but probably not getting paid much based on the ratings.
  20. Toronto doesn't look as good as the first season of Vancouver, but it looks watchable. I don't know what to make of the cast, very hard looking women. I do like that it's a multi-ethnic cast and that you have a plus sized wife which you don't get anymore in the US. I'm cautiously optimistic.
  21. Potomac is DC. Majority of time you see them out at restaurants they're in DC.
  22. I feel like Miami needs to just stay dead. Honestly, they dropped the ball not trying to make Melbourne happen. It's first two seasons it got decent ratings without promo, can you imagine how well it could've done with promo and WWHL appearances? Plus it's cheap since it's already made. Right now I'd prefer they focus on featuring the international versions instead of launching a new one. If they came up with an interesting city and cast then go for it, but I wouldn't be looking just yet.
  23. I'm guessing Potomac will be on Sundays and they're hoping it can stand on it's own feet so they'll have better sunday coverage now that New Jersey is tanking. I'm sure Dallas will finally get a lead in this year because it's do or die for them. I wonder if they'll have it air the same night as say OC or something of that nature. I think it'll probably flop again based on that boring ass cast. I loved Lydia, but I do agree I'd want Lizzie and Jeana back. I'd have Lizzie back as a full housewife and Jeana as a real friend ala Camille. Shannon, Vicki, Kelly, Tamra, Lydia and Lizzie would be a flawless cast. Six main housewives with one friend isn't bad at all.
  24. I don't know if it's yet mentioned here, but in Trump's interview with Bill O'Reilly he says the US is no better than Russia and Putin when O'Reilly asked him about Putin being a murderer. Obviously even FOX viewed this as a frightening statement if that's the clip they're using to promote this interview. How will republicans and the media give him a pass for this. He literally will attack and insult ANYONE except Russia and now is to the point where he's saying Putin and his crimes are the same as what America does?! This is just becoming bizarre.
  25. Potomac has been done filming for months. Andy tweeted that the episodes he's seen are very good. I think they're just holding it because they don't need it right now. I imagine it'll return with New York towards the end of ATL and BH, probably in April.
