They have a wonderful, natural chemistry that shines through anything that they are given. They can do comedy, romance, snarkiness and drama better than most I have ever seen on my screen. I will remain a BIG FAN of these two. I hoping that all of this just adds more and more layers for this great couple. I also have enjoyed the changed dynamic with Zach and Ryan. Ryan really ticked me off with his treatment of Kendall and his rage during the whole "fight club" was frustrating for me as a long time Ryan fan. I always assumed that I could forgive Ryan and I was right. I may not think that Ryan and Kendall belong together but I like the idea of this supportive, nuclear kind of family that they have thrown together with Zach, Kendall and Ryan. I would love to see some storyline written here that doesn't include plot driven angst that doesn't make any sense. I would love to get beneath the surface of who Zach really is. I would love to see another Cambias come to town and stir the pot a bit and really have Zach deal with his past. His wife Kendall would be able to really support her husband. Ryan could be an integral part of the story as well as head of Cambias Industries. What we are getting now on AMC (and I'm not just talking about Zach and Kendall) seems so "been there, done that" that I am finding it harder and harder to watch. No one is happy. I want to see some more comedic scenes. I LOVE how wonderful Michael E. Knight has been with his scenes lately but I miss the Tad that was quick with the one-liner. I miss the Tad that dangled Simone, Liza and Krystal on a string. I didn't even enjoy Krystal's biker Christmas party but I would even take that over the dark cloud we see on our screen these days. I'm hoping that the tide will turn and Zach and Kendall will be able to stay together and bring the snark. I'm hoping for some good romance with Ryan and Annie (which I do really like) and Aiden and Di (they have shockingly awesome chemistry!!). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A couple of people at the table suggested a chem test between Reggie and Colby but it was shot down. And I'm sure you all know how much AMC loves its chem tests. So I think it is safe to say there is zero interest in Reggie from the decision makers. Further the MBJ situation may be the final straw for a certain long-time AMC star who is contemplating asking to be let out of his contract. I believe he has exactly two years left but its unlikely the network will keep him around after that and I'm sure he's gotten the message given his lack of airtime of late. I've never thought Zach Slater Cambiassss ever fit into PV. No story has worked for this character. I just find myself with yet another reason to not like the guy. His fixation on Maria was laughable since it was Maureen who he was in love with. He respected her marriage to Edmund and her need to be a mother to her children???? Is that why he called her to cry on her shoulder? Is that why he created that casita thing in the hotel?? He wasn't just looking to rekindle a friendship - he was a control freak stalker - then they lowered Maria to the same level - then decided to throw Edmund into the pit too and sacrifice his character for good measure. Zach has never fit in - he's a wanna be David/bad guy - who doesn't measure up --- a wanna be Ryan/good guy - who doesn't measure up. Why does anyone think Zach can find Kate when he couldn't find Maureen? Why should Zach be a dad to Kendall's child when he didn't want to be a dad to his own child after he discovered him as an adult? oh yeah that bad curse thing might have hurt that ADULT child of his - cuz daddy C could reach Ethan from the grave?? Whatever - Zach is a loser and he's brought down every female he's been paired with. IMO - he and dixie deserve each other. I'd rather see tad with Annie! Ryan dragged Kendall down, and then Greenlee. Interestingly enough, Annie is the one woman I actually like him with. Probably cause she's different. She's been through alot. Members amazing7 Posted August 2, 2006 Members Share Posted August 2, 2006 Zach and Kendall all the way for me too. Ryan speared too much pain, rage and abuse on Kendall and Greenlee. Ryan should be lucky that he now has Spike and can possibly start over with Annie or maybe Greenlee will come back, because Cameron did tell Carruthers that he didn't think that Ryan and Greenlee were finished. Zach and Kendall storyline has not even begun. Right now they are definitely supporting everyone elses characters and storyline. I agree, after what Ryan put my girl Kendall through, I still find it hard to like him. I feel like they're trying to hard to redeem him, and that's just a big turn off to me. Members amazing7 Posted August 2, 2006 Members Share Posted August 2, 2006 See, this is where I'm hoping they are taking Rage Ryan with the Spike storyline is for Spike to either go to baby heaven or for Spike not to be his. It would be amazing to see Rage Ryan bow out of Spike's life and let Kendall and Zach raise him. If Rage Ryan lose Spike then Annie loses Emma/Kate and they both can bond on losing children that weren't theirs and have one of their own. There's definitely a twist coming down the road IMO. I definitely see this going the way of Jake & Colby. I can see Ryan taking on a different role in Spike's life like Jake did with Colby. It took Rage Ryan to look at the way Zach loved her enough to let her die to bring his little Rage spawn into world. Rage Ryan even admitted to Binks that Zach is the only one who has ever made Kendall this happy, he couldn't even do it, because the Rage jerk never understood or gave Kendall that kind of unconditional love. No one has given Kendall that kind of unconditional love in her whole life. Kendall has finally found someone that truly loves and understands her. No wonder she's so understanding to a point where Zach and JR's mother is concern. Zach is trying to find JR's sister for JR's mother. Nope, it's not enough.
