Will AMC's Dixie end "Zen's" Bliss On AMC?

Zach and Kendall's marriage is put to a new test this week when she overhears a jealous Tad discussing Zach & Dixie's "affair." Kendall confronts her hubby, who denies that Dixie is his lover-but he does cop to sharing a kiss with the woman now accused of murdering Greg Madden with him. Cady McClain says that Zach calms her down, but she's not very happy with Dixie. Kendall asks Dixie point blank if she is in love with Zach, and, the actress says "That's when Dixie first begins to think that Kendall doesn't deserve him. Dixie has never had a problem with Kendall, but seeing how insecure and high-maintenance Kendall is, it plants a seed for Dixie. It makes her think, 'Hmmm, maybe it's ok to like this guy a little bit more...not that I'm going to do anything about it.' She tells Kendall, 'I'm not in love with him...but I could be.'" Dixie also faces off with here accuser, Tad. CM says that she thinks he's turned into a bitter old queen. He's so mean to her! And meanwhile, he's the one who slept with someone who's married [Krystal]. Dixie's just like, "What the hell man?" As the formerly married Martins have it out, Kendall and Zach enjoy a little romance-and when Kendall says she will do anything to help Zach beat the murder rap, he proposes an unorthodox idea. CM says that "his idea is to make it look like Zach and Dixie are having a real affair-and Kendall agrees to go along with it in order to have their alibi be as strong as possible. There's a lot of evidence against them, so it's critical that people really believe that the affair is real. Tad helps their cause by babbling to David about Zach and Dixie's supposed carnal connection. David goes to see Dixie immediately- but it's Zach who answers the door. Does the doc buy Tad's story? CM says that he does buy it, ultimately. They go to great efforts to make sure everybody believes. But by the time the charade is over, might fiction become fact? CM says that "this would be a very interesting beginning to what I think would be a very interesting storyline," CM hedges of a potential Dixie/Zach/Kendall triangle. She says that is if they go for it. We're still at the stage of feeling it all out, but it gets very complex as it goes along.

On Monday, August 14, Jonathan attempts to make a deal with Jackson. "The choice Jonathan makes it out of love for Lily," says MMT. "He made a huge choice earlier this summer [to conceal the restoration of his mental acuity from her] and this choice is even huger." Di and Aidan have sex again on Tuesday, August 15.

Grapevine:

A young member of the AMC cast is telling pals that he won't renew his contract when it expires next year.

What Will Happen:

Kendall wants Dixie out of Zach's life once and for all.

JR is certain that Josh won't stop until he gets Babe for himself.

Kendall is willing to make a great sacrifice in order to save Zach.

Who does Dixie think that she is? She has the nerve to think that Kendall doesn't deserve Zach. Did CM insist that she would only come back if her character became annoying? I can't stand Dixie any more.

What the hell. Dixie needs a life, because Kendall doesn't want the woman who was kissing her husband near him. That's a wrong thing? And the entire affair plan? This isn't going to end well.

Why does this sound like a way to make Zach the bad guy so Ryan can be free and innocent in the end?

That is what the plan seems to be. The boring relationship between Annie and Ryan is a snooze fest and a filler. A filler until there can be a Rendall reunion again. I can't believe that TPTB did a screen/chem test and thought that Ryan & Annie would be a good match.

I hate how this Dixie story line is written, it is stupid. She has no rights to Kate only Tad. For 4 years she had no problems looking for Kate by herself. She comes back to PV and her entire family + David wants to help be she ONLY goes to Zach. This makes no sense. I am not rooting for her because she is stupid and inconsiderate. I hope that Tad gets custody with Annie.

If the writers think that Zixie is going to be a popular couple I think that they need to rethink that. Zach was in love with Maria yet he loved her enough to respect her relationship to Edmond. If Maria came back to PV, I would understand the triangle, I would understand the friction/conflict. But this Dixie stuff is written just to write junk.

I don't remember the last poster who was rooting for Dixie and her situation. When she first came back to PV there was a camp who was tired and annoyed with her after about 2 weeks. But knowing the character I held out giving her the benefit of the doubt until the end. Her character is written as a selfish two-faced witch.

There is not one story line that I can honestly say that I am enjoying.

So in other words: Cady's shaking her "me, me, me, I want I want I want" money maker again. T&D need some drama (as if looking for Kate isn't enough) so AMC once again is going to torpedo a top couple who the fans love. Sounds about right.

Well, at least it's not me and D&E this time. But seriously, I wouldn't wish this on the J&E fans, and I'm not all that fond of them.

I enjoy Cady and i don't mind Zach/Dixie. Their MUTUAL kiss was better than Zendall.
