Virus Warning On SB Messageboard

I surf many different soap related sites. I was visiting the SoapBlather Messageboard and my virus protection told me I had picked up two viruses.

Same thing happened at The Buzz board about a month ago. Thought I'd pass along a heads up on this!

This happened to me on Saturday. It just completely dismantled my computer and it took me all day and night to get rid of the spyware that came after.

I advise SON to look into this. The "proffy" is spread on ad networks, and SON does use ads. Far as I can tell, it's not infected, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be. Proffy sprang up a couple of weeks ago and hit hard several sites.

Speaking of the Buzz, it seems to have been hit again tonight.

I suggest that everyone install the Firefox browser. You can install an "extension" called "No Script," which allows you to forbid scripts, keeping your computer safe.

we actually agree on something for once.

I'd reexamine the whole google ads thing completely, because I actually have caught virues / spyware / some form of garbage off SON due to those ads that caused me to have to reformat cause I couldnt find it on scans.
