Members FanSoAp07
Why do u like Shreveport?
Members DaysFanJean
Shreveport and Bossier City are like the same to a visitor with only a bridge or river between them. Bossier City is the home of Barksdale AFB. Grade 1 thoroughbred horseracing at Louisiana Downs is a huge draw for visitors. Downtown on the river are the gaming casino's including Harrahs, Isle of Capri, Horseshoe, etc. which make a huge pullin as well as the accompanying other nightlife and restaurants on the riverfront. Shreveport is located on I-20 just a few miles from the Texas border and is the beginning of N-S I-49 to Lafayette to meet I-10 into Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
