This has been a painful thing ever since Ron first forced it on us. Look at Britt and Brad watching the Nurses Ball cracking jokes, hahaha! You do that at home with your friends, right? So fun! Hahahaha!! It was always so sweaty. Then somehow it led to CVE and O'Connor giving her a massive sendoff with a slideshow of IRL childhood photographs and drag queens saluting her(!!) in 2022-3. You would've thought Jackie had died early or it was Jonathan Jackson's farewell in '99.

I don't even know, man. She has never been as popular, fierce or 'iconic' as some of the creatives at GH clearly want her to be. Lucas used to despise her but now he has to be her new GBF too because Brad isn't prominent enough. It's always been so artificial to me. Even trying to make 'the Brittch' happen for years. It would be one thing if you had a versatile, vibrant actor who could at least live up to this hard sell. She's never been that vibrant!

That send off was wild for Britt! If I wasn't on this board at the time I would swear I was crazy and Britt was a gay icon and super popular and I just didn't get it.

Are there true Britt fans out there? I know people liked her with Jason, but the only time I liked Britt was when she was pitted against Sabrina. The Sabrina propping was so awful I liked Britt by default.

There are IMO. I may have despised her since 2012-3 but I think she does have a modest fanbase. But it has never been at those insane levels and I would argue this last year has only hurt it, lol. When I expected quite the opposite.

I never liked Britt over Sabrina. They both were so forced but early Sabrina at least had the Lucy worship going for her. After the Nurses Ball returned and Sabrina got her makeover they both became totally unwatchable to me.

I would argue Sabrina was much more irritating than Britt in the beginning. Both were cliches, but Sabrina acted like a tween girl needing a Prince Charming to come find her. Like GH, we obviously can see Sabrina is beautiful even if she has glasses and frizzy hair. It was like a 90's teen movie with grown adults lol.

The way she was treated like a damn infant when she was a grown adult was nauseating.

Oh, it was a total teen movie cliche but I felt Teresa Castillo was good at it early on. It was still a plotline so beneath what the show had been up til recently at that point, and she became unbearable once they leaned into Princess Sabrina's Dreams Come True. Britt I just never got anything off of, and she only got worse the more they tried to lean into making her a more overtly prefabricated 'snarky character' after a minor audience response, while also trying to imbue her with emotional range KT could not handle.

By the time Sabrina started to work, it was already the end of that character's run. Not a big loss for the canvas.

I do remember liking Sabrina with Michael. I felt CD and TC actually had chemistry lol. It was always a mindf*ck to me that she was going to marry Patrick and then was with the little boy that Robin help raise in the beginning.

I think Britt would have been an okay character if the show just cut her when she outlived her usefulness instead of trying to insert in 100 different places on the canvas. I do recall people liking Britt/Nik, but I never was into that pairing.

I think anyone can argue Brian Craig/Morgan were much more important to the canvas and the show ditched him no problem. KT must be slightly easier to deal with?

You know the look that a dog gets in its' eyes when it realizes its' owner has abandoned them at the shelter and is never coming back? To me, Jason Thompson always held that same look in his eyes whenever he had to play any scene with Teresa Castillo. Like he had given up on finding another forever home.

Jason looked checked out for the latter half of his GH run. He was not enjoying the work at all. I think Patrick and Sam was his true low point.
