Megan Ward's Kate worked her way up to the job at Crimson while Nina did, checks notes, nothing to get the job though. I think it varies in writing if Nina is competent or not at any jobs she's had like the time she practically ran the Metro Court into the ground because Carly needed her job back.

I can see that. I want to say...for the most part I want to say Nina is competent for the most part at Crimson, but it's been so long since they focused on it in any serious way that I wouldn't be sure if that was still the case now.

What are folks thinking about Ethan and Kristina?

Honestly, the whole backlash with Jordan/Curtis could have been avoided if GH made this a real story. If they filmed Jordan/Curtis driving normally and someone hit them or forced them off the road and didn't stop they would have a right to be mad.

The whole premise of their anger is that if someone helped them out Jordan wouldn't have been burned so badly which they have no way of knowing. There are so many variables to their theory including the fact that if the person had stopped they could have been hurt as well in the car fire/explosion.

I have a feeling the driver will be Brook Lynn. She'll end up not being able to adopt Pheobe over it and Chase will cheat on her with Willow so she will still be the victim. She'll lose everything over what was truly an honest mistake and Jordan/Curtis will look even worse. I haven't really figured out what the show will do with her drinking and driving. It's probably an added element to make Chase angrier. I wouldn't mind an actual boozy Brook Lynn story after she loses everything though.

I admit that I don't like how BLQ is acting so far. The BLQ I'm used to would be scrambling and have a better game face. Tracy has been right. All to make her come across like a victim saint.

It would be fantastic, but I cannot see FV allowing BLQ to take the blame for anything. And yes, it should've been a much more serious crash. The Curtis/Isaiah angle is stupid but so is everything about that quad, car or no car.

My problem with the accident story isn’t really Jordan’s scarred face. It’s a classic soap trope. Even Erica Kane did her time with a half mask on her face!

My problem is the hedging their bets kind of writing that often plagues this soap. They want the drama of an accident and a secret, but not the actual fault that caused it. All this turmoil with Jordan and it is ultimately her own fault for distracted driving. We can’t have Brook Lynn be at fault and let it play out? They had no problem fully telling these kinds of stories with Alexis! She went to jail!

The scarred face was done already in the past ten years with Maura West's Ava Jerome and it was done better then than it is being done now, both in terms of story and makeup.

This is often FV's problem with his favored characters/actors. There always has to be a later twist that exonerates them.

I could also see a scenario where Brook Lynn confesses all, loses all those things, and another driver pops up out of the woodwork to vindicate BLQ too. Everyone feels bad for her again.

ETA-you had the same thought while I was posting lol

Ethan claims the baby, starts playing house with Kristina because he knows nothing about babies, and they start a romantic relationship. Idk how the audience would take that because I know there's a debate as to whether Kristina is a lesbian or bisexual.
