GH: May 2026 Discussion Thread

-- I complained about the Disney tie-in, but Michael James Scott was very good today, and the scene was directed well. As long as the Disney stuff is over, I'm good with it.

-- Valentin got on my nerves with that gun. Carly is a nasty, hypocritical POS. Chris McKenna was really good today.

-- I didn't really have a problem with Cody and Molly talking about their trip. Those types of scenes are standard in an episode with a ton of action.

-- GH spends a fortune on sets, yet Joss tried that door in her locked room and it almost flew open 😂

-- A lot of characters appeared today, and I was never bored. I can't be mad at it.

Laura Wright posted today on her Instagram stories that today's episode was shot late on a Friday night and she thought Chris McKenna just killed it. That was sweet to see! Didn't realize they work lates like that on Fridays in this day and age.

Chris McKenna is really lipsynching for his life again today lol. This useless role has always been an odd fit for him but he's versatile, works very hard and has managed to project authority and gravitas in the many goofy WSB HQ scenes IMO. Still, I've never liked Brennan and I don't really feel for him. But it's solid drama to watch, well played by all.

I do not at all buy that Carly is already secretly in love with Valentin and jealous of Anna. They've rushed this for the usually slow GH to re-secure JPS' place on the show. At this point it should just be sex and a growing rapport and understanding they can't shake. OTOH I can easily buy that Valentin is already down bad for her because he's always been such a crazy, obsessive simp for many women.

Not more Pascal. Segments of Lucas and this human slur being catty together. Sidwell, Cullum, Cashews Faison, Britt, Valentin the bus stop pervert, this guy. I am so tired of this dumb storyline and all these people.

Pascal is one of the most useless characters in recent memory. I don't "get" a lot of GH characters, but I truly don't understand why the butler is fighting with Lucas. No one, including Sidwell, takes him seriously, so what is he going to do? Try to kill Lucas at some point? UGH.

I think the only ones who are enjoying it are Frank and CVE.

I wouldn't mind that happening, lol!

Today would have received a 100, I'll give a 75. Loved everything except that Savoy Disney commercial. No offense to Michael James Scott.

Same. What an episode. It gave me all the drama I needed.

GH pulled out a miracle because I was actually rooting for Joss and Carly. But Joss does deserve Donkey of the Day. She could've minded her own business and just be a socialite. 😂

The Savoy scenes just interrupted the flow, but I get why the show felt they needed something lighter in the episode.

Ohhh so Ethan is involved in the baby's mother - Delilah! They were supposed to meet in Port Charles. Hmm, curious to see where this goes...

Oh Ric, you're in danger girl haha.

I really hope nothing happens to Ric.

On another note, I can't wait until that sanctimonious Curtis get's his face chumped about Isaiah.
