I've said many a time before I'd bring Jake home and probably keep Aiden a visible support player for awhile (with an actor younger than 25 and not jacked up from the gym). Cameron I might wait on. But they clearly do not give half a fúck about Liz or them boys lol. It's too bad, but OTOH if Jake were here they might try him with that mutant again.

At least they wouldn't be actually related like her and Danny

I refuse to subject that poor boy to the hybrid. He's been through enough on Cassadine Island and under Luke's tires!

What do they have against Liz/BH anyway? Even before fans forced them to keep her around, it seemed like they resented having to feature her at all. (I, myself, feel rather lukewarm toward her, but I'd still try and find SOME story for her, if only to keep her fans happy).

It's confusing, but I think Liz just isn't that interesting to writers? It's been several regimes where she's been tossed aside only to prop OLTL characters. I do feel like she was pushed out in favor of others that were heavily favored at times like Sam and Courtney.

The way the show didn't even attempt to tease her with Jason when he had no love interest just states how little they care. I feel like there is some resentment that they have to keep Becky because of her fanbase.

Which results in crap like eye mites.

Don't remind me lol.

It's weird because Becky/Liz works as a lead and a supporting player. She's loyal and plays everything to the best of her ability, but let's promote Britt more lol.

Most definitely, and not just in this regime.

I've run hot and cold on Elizabeth many times; I couldn't stand her in the late '90s and early 2000s, she was so saccharine to me. But I do think Becky always works very hard and she's earned my respect and interest over time, particularly in the Liason revisit in the mid-2000s, and she can always deliver with the right story and partner. She just hasn't had much of that for most of the last oh, two decades lol. It's criminal how she and JJ were handled recently, but whether or not he came back again there are other options. Lucky or no Lucky I would build her family back up, starting with her parents and let it all play in major story. The audience loves Elizabeth and wants to see her, so why not go for it?

Lol! The only time I really liked her was in the late 90's and early 2000's.

It's so strange GH doesn't go with her as the lead. She's had multiple popular pairings and has a huge fan base. It's almost a no brainer to heavily feature her.

And this will be unpopular, but Lucky needs Liz more than Liz needs Lucky as far as couples go. BH has proven she can make things work with other love interests.

That may well be true.

Lol! Justice for TJ! It would have been nice to see TJ and Molly have some sort of closure. I don't even care much about TJ/Molly, but would it have killed GH's budget to pay TR for a day or two to film some final scenes with his family and Molly

I would have used the old trope of her running into him while he was in town with his fiance to tell his family they are expecting. I would have given them some closure, given TJ some agency about how he went along with Molly’s wishes because he loved her since they were kids, but losing the baby really showed him they want different things as adults. He wants a family. I think that combined with her recent medical issues would have been a nice way to also let Molly have some emotions around never having kids. I think she should hold strong to her values, but it would be nice if she got to process the entire decision onscreen when confronted with a what if life with TJ.

It’s yet another in a long line of things I question since Frons arrived and started micromanaging ABC Daytime. GH has a plethora of popular characters and they have repeatedly sidelined folks while even now we still see Sonny/Jason/Carly, although mostly just there taking up airtime now. It’s a shame, because Liz remained popular through some terrible story turns, and the audience did respond to her being a single mom to three boys and a nurse. It was relatable. But once FV was forced to get rid of Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (poor Becky had to prop them both!)it’s been mostly crickets. Or mites. All her sons should be onscreen.

As a longtime fan of this show, I think it always works best when we have the action/adventure umbrella story, the hospital in focus, and at least a handful of normal folks that have their normal lives and intersect with the other two hubs. Bobbie and the Webbers on GH while Luke/Laura were saving the world and Robert/Anna were WSB’ing. Frank Smith’s 90’s run while also meeting the Ward family, Tony/Bobbie imploding when BJ died. I know I complain a lot about this show and right now it has been watchable and fun for the most part. But a couple of small tweaks and it could be better, possibly even challenging the other soaps for more viewers. Liz and her kids really did work well in that family life setting.
