I guess you missed the long, long running Body & Soul situation.

Kate knows Joy because of that. She was a star and Kate was a producer.

Chloe is only mentioned in passing.

I'm glad to see that the show seems to be improving after a long lull. I guess Noel Maxam has really helped the show with finding a direction and amping up storylines a bit. Hopefully they can start making some waves on Peacock this summer if this continues.

I would like to take some time to honour not just a man, but a giant of a man, a legend, an icon in the truest sense of the word. There's probably not a single corner on this planet he hasn't visited, and through his endless curiosity and enthusiasm he has made even the smallest, most unassuming plants and creatures into something interesting. I can't even begin to count the many, many hours I've spent watching his endlessly fascinating tv-series, learning about our planet and all its inhabitants.
So, a very, very, very happy 100th birthday to Sir David Attenborough, and hopefully there will be many more. The world would be an emptier place without him. ❤️

It felt that way for me, an occasional viewer at the time. Then it seemed Peggy disappeared. It was a very different Holly then too. A wide eyed naive young blonde babe type.

DEERING was very different, a wide eyed blonde babe type, maybe even the dumb blonde stereotype. I think it took a while for viewers to adjust to Maureen Garrett. I think I saw her first few scenes on a plane, returning to Springfield, thinking, that can't be Holly.
But the adjustment didn't take long. Garrett proved herself early on.

GH: May 2026 Discussion Thread

Thursday's episode had one of the biggest historical errors, or retcons, I have ever seen in all my years of watching daytime television. Probably the biggest one I have ever seen on General Hospital.
Sonny and Ric did not know each other when they were children. Sonny didn't even know Ric existed until they were both well into their adult lives. It is shocking to me that the writers could make that big of a mistake.

I remember Survivors aired late, probably 10pm. My older sisters watched it. I don't remember much plotwise, probably fell asleep, except for a scene with George Hamilton and a young and lovely Diana Muldaur in a car with no brakes and Hamilton's character aims the car to sideswipe a wall to slow it down. A similar scene showed up in a made for TV movie a week or two later.
But I remember the name Baylor Carlyle.

I can almost visualise the long opening credits where he describes his family and then it turns into a diagram of boxes, like a family tree. And I remember the music.
I was too young to understand what The Jet Set meant, but I remember Ralph Bellamy's voice describing his son played by George Hamilton with that description, as we saw Hamilton don a crash helmet.
As I recall, Lana Turner was the bigges draw.

I should watch that youtube clip.

Its not about him pllaying subordinate. I dont think Lia would have the gall to talk to him like a dog the way she did if he was the criminal mastermind that controls her and the whole operation. The Impaler is being built as someone to fear and respect and she has none of that for Carlton. It would make more sense if he were a minion of hers
