“The Young and the Restless” ranked No. 1 among soaps in Women 18-49 and Women 25-54.
“Let’s Make a Deal” saw the largest year-to-year gain among Total Viewers.

“The Young and the Restless” took back the top spot among soaps in Women 18-49 and Women 25-54 during the week of April 13-17, 2026, while “The View” returned to originals.
Despite a minor drop week-to-week drop among Total Viewers, “The Young and the Restless” averaged more than three million viewers for the 12th consecutive week and, like every other daytime broadcast series, continued to see year-over-year gains. The long-running daytime drama series was up +0.04 week-to-week in Women 18-49 (0.26 rating vs. 0.22 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.42 rating vs. 0.38 rating). Compared to the same week last year, the soap opera was up +75,000 viewers (3.126 million vs. 3.051 million).
While the half-hour soap had a larger-than-expected drop in the key demos compared to its performance in recent weeks, “The Bold and the Beautiful” remained a strong second among soaps in both Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, while gaining +202,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (2.759 million vs. 2.557 million). Further, the series is ahead of its performance during the same week in 2024, up +72,000 (2.759 million vs. 2.687 million).
“General Hospital” was below the two-million-viewer mark for the second consecutive week, after surpassing the threshold for a noteworthy 11 consecutive weeks, starting with the week of January 19-23, 2026. Though the drama series dropped to 12th place among Women 25-54 (0.21 rating), just ahead of lead-in “GMA3” (0.20 rating), which ranked last, the daytime drama was up an impressive +211,000 year-over-year among Total Viewers (1.970 million vs. 1.759 million). In Women 18-49 (0.17 rating), the long-running soap opera continued to outrate its time slot competitor, “Beyond the Gates” (0.15 rating), with the latter flat week-to-week.
Topping “General Hospital” in Women 25-54 (0.22 rating vs. 0.21 rating), “Beyond the Gates” averaged 1.661 million viewers for the week, marking its sixth consecutive week of year-over-year gains among Total Viewers. The soap opera was up +117,000 viewers compared to the same week last year, its largest year-over-year gain to date.
Both half hours of “Let’s Make a Deal” saw the largest year-over-year gains among Total Viewers, up +335,000 and +268,000, respectively.
