For the faults of that brief tenure, Mulcahey revitalized Nina, Drew, and Willow and laid the ground to make them watchable. Nina has fallen backwards, but Drew and Willow are keeping this show alive right now.

He really did. And that was even more clearer to me when Nina literally popped up in Drew's face after his meltdown and she's so irrelevant now that I forgot she was in the court room. They don't use Nina at all.

So different from the woman who had hate sex with Drew. An afterthought.

Nina was a priority for Mulcahey, because he clearly liked Cynthia Watros (I can't recall if he ever wrote for her at GL) and I suspect Drew/Nina was his endgame in that mother-daughter triangle. The relationship and understanding between them was being built and was given a lot of focus. Korte hates Nina and the old/new team generally has other priorities, so she's an afterthought now.

Would I trade losing the Drew/Willow saga and Willow's ongoing metamorphosis for PM's original plan? Maybe not, but I wish there had been a best of both worlds situation.

He missed her by about half a year, I think.

I actually really liked Tracy's cocktail hour with the family. (I don't know if Edward actually officially had one onscreen as she claimed, though they sure did drink in the study or wherever a lot.) It was vague shades of the old Abbott breakfasts on Y&R. They should do these kind of group Q tradition scenes more often, and Michael, etc. should warm up to it more. Jason can bring a beer!

And I believe that as well re: Drew/Nina. They were already snapping at each other before PM came in. And I already figured and kept saying they were going to have hate sex. Once PM came in, suuuure enough. lol. Just like Dani and Andre and their fling over at BTG, I just knew it would grow into something more. And it was nice to see that happen, PM building such nuances in both of them. THAT's how soaps build a couple and it was nice to see a writer who knew how to do it, making naysayers of people who said they don't even like either and/or both of them. I also felt they were going to be the endgame in the brewing Nina/Drew/Willow triangle as well. So it's a shame to see her in the background when so much is going on that affects her.

I would also like a best of both worlds because this Drew/Willow mess has been deliciously twisted and I totally eating it up.

I am just catching up on GH after a vacation. I am glad the show made Willow the true shooter. I really was thinking it was going to be Scout and I couldn't handle that lol. This story continues to be a huge win for GH.

I am ashamed to admit I find Cody/Molly cute. I know they are juvenile and don't have a ton of chemistry, but it's nice to see Cody happy and JK plays a nice romantic lead.

I wish I could be part of Tracy's cocktail hour. Although Ned exposing Drew left him to die should have come out earlier.

Continuing to hate Val/Carly. I can't with that...

Also, could you imagine having Wiley's voice as your ringtone? Poor Michael...

Like, why do that to yourself? I cringed hearing it again the other day. Once was enough.

I do find Cody and Molly juvenile, and once again I blame Infomercial Molly and the tired character in general lol.

I have no idea. Could you imagine Michael in a business meeting and that ringtone goes off? Because you know Wiley is that kid that calls 100 times a day.

I do understand about Cody/Molly. I have a hard time believing 30/40 year olds would be that pressed about labeling their dating, but Cody previously dated his cousin and Molly has only dated TJ in her life so 🤷‍♀️

We'd hope he would either mute his phone for the meeting, lower the volume or that people would understand he has a young child, etc.

Honestly...if Lucy vs Ava is a GO...I'm here for it. But given our discussion and what I've read about the writers' view on Ava, maybe not. It sounds like what I have written about Drew vs Curtis and how you can tell which HW likes to write for them and which one does not.

My concern is that bringing Ava in will eliminate Lucy in the story because they are moving him more front and center and placing him with a more important to them character. Since we are revisiting the 90’s, my preference would be Lucy figures out what he is up to, or overhears about the dead professor, and works with her old pal and business partner Sonny and Laura to bring him down, while Ava genuinely tries to become a power player again by being with him. Lucy has always annoyed Laura, so we get the tension there. Plus I would love for some of Lucy’s more calculating side to come out again. She’s not a killer, but she can be dangerous.

I thought the ADA was pretty great in the courtroom. Not for Sonny, but she did solid work there.
