Selina would not be the shooter. She hired someone to do it-if that's actually the shooter.

Oh yeah, I think it's a huge fake-out. I'd guess Curtis spent a million dollars on nothing, as I'm betting that Drew got shot by somebody else before Selina Wu got a chance to send her assassin over.

I think it's a fake out as well. I suppose it widens the suspect pool so we don't have to listen to another entire episode of Dante and Nathan contemplating the same 4 suspects over and over.

I think Rory Gibson is very good and much sexier than CD, but there's also something low key creepy about his take. Watching Drew/Willow's wedding from outside the window lol?

Given his lineage, that makes sense, but I wonder if they are also trying to make viewers more sympathetic to Willow.

I was wondering if they are on a path to make Michael a bit unhinged as well. Willow doesn't exactly look much better in this, but perhaps the show is trying to level the playing field on custody? Kind of just sucks for the kids though lol. Which parent is worse?

I think Rory is a big improvement over Chad; heโ€™s opened up a ton of new possibilities for that character. And yet, I find myself still wishing that he would loosen up a bit in the role. Heโ€™s a littleโ€ฆclenched?

I felt bad for Trina having to rely on Kai for comfort after she belatedly found out Portia is pregnant and they carted Curtis off to the police station. If Spencer were there he wouldโ€™ve followed them to the PCPD and started threatening lawsuits.

Surprisingly effective: the argument between Marshall and Stella. Vernee Watson really sold the anger and the hurt.

Obsessed with Alexis, Liz, and Ninaโ€™s faces of disgust during the wedding. Willow throwing a bouquet into a crowd of four was hilarious and Scout catching it was gross.

The Brook Lynn and Gio scenes were nice and not too repetitive. The performers have a real rapport; Gio has turned into one of those actors who you can throw into a scene with anybody and he clicks.

I think Rory's Michael is very deliberately clenched and tense. They made a lot early on (and again more recently) about his PTSD from the fire, etc. They have had Sonny talk about it again. That is something that can and should be explored more. Michael when unhinged or out for revenge - whether under Chad when he started out, Drew Garrett or today with Gibson - has always been dangerous and volatile. If it was me Willow would start gaslighting or drugging him to add to this issue and attempt to obtain custody.

Again it just depresses me re: the news from Mark Teschner on the Soapy podcast that they expanded Jacinda's role from 3 episodes because of her 'great chemistry' with Gibson. I just don't have an interest in seeing Michael play that story again, especially with a clearly cheap actor with no real concept behind her. This recast deserves an equally fleshed-out and yes, talented series of love interest options.

I also think Wu and Curtis are just a fakeout for Willow as the shooter, who was becoming increasingly clear to the audience. But it's hilarious if Selina somehow fumbled it. I've never been the biggest fan of the one-note actor in that role, though the character is a great idea.

Gio's adoptive parents are both dead. His adoptive dad died before he was born and his mother died of cancer when he was a kid. He was brought to town to play music at Brook Lynn's wedding, so Lois and Gloria actively were playing with fire by bringing him to PC.

Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ So who raised him after his adoptive mother died? Did the audience know Gio existed this entire time, or was this a storyline they created from scratch?

I think that's what makes Gibson even sexier - that low key creep factor that is a bit dangerous, but thrilling haha.

It's sort of unclear who raised Gio. He was 10 or 11 when his mom died. The way the show explained it was vague, but I think he spent the year in his performing arts school (that Sonny paid for), stayed with various Cerullo relatives during his time off, and did music programs during the summer. He wasn't in an orphanage or adopted so I really have no idea who is legal guardian was, but it seems like multiple people were looking out for him.

Gio is a made up character from scratch. He first appeared at Brook Lynn/Chase's wedding playing the violin.

Yeah, Gioโ€™s offscreen origin story (the actor auditioned for one of the teen parts but was a little too old, yet Frank got ๐Ÿ˜ and immediately created a contract role for him) led to a bit of โ€œcatch as catch canโ€ as far as the characterโ€™s development is concerned. He did nothing but smile and play the violin for 11 months.

And teased in a pairing with Joss or Trina until that was dropped. I still have no idea what the thought processes were with Joss. "Let's just have her get dicked by a secret agent underwear model!" I think someone may have been living out their fantasies in that story conference.

Considering that sheโ€™s (thankfully) on the backburner right now, I take that to mean thatโ€™s no real plan for Joss, except for the fact that sheโ€™s Carlyโ€™s daughter lol

I think the only thing left is to pair Joss with a woman. Cast Victoria Konefal as her new WSB handler and put them in a triangle with Kristina.
