Eva LaRue, My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story

The powerful two-part documentary “My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story” is now available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.

The documentary tells the harrowing true story of how Eva LaRue (“All My Children,” “CSI: Miami”) and her daughter Kaya Callahan endured 12 years of terror at the hands of a relentless stalker, who, while operating from the shadows, taunted and terrorized their lives with his identity remaining a mystery, even to the FBI. In a gripping account, the Emmy Award-winning actress reveals the constant fear, emotional toll, and the resolve, courage, and resilience it took to protect her family.

Forte Entertainment produced the documentary for See It Now Studios. Andrea Gabourie, Mitchell Gabourie, and LaRue executive produce for Forte Entertainment. Stephen Scott directs, with Sarah Sharkey Pearce serving as writer and producer, and Kim Creelman as supervising producer. For See It Now Studios, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong are executive producers, and Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora are supervising producers.

What a terrible title for such a serious documentary.  It makes it sound like a cheap Lifetime Original Movie.

I watched this yesterday and it was very moving. I feel so bad for Eva and her daughter. To live in fear like that for SO many years, just heartbreaking. I'm so glad they caught the guy and he ended up being a loser, but I can't believe he didn't get more jail time. At least they know who he is and what he looks like now... and it helps he's older and not fit at all.

I didn't know it was already online. I'll have to check it out. Sounds like a horror story.

Such a horror!

On a lighter note, the doc did highlight her background at AMC and I loved seeing the adoration of John Callahan (Edmund)....AMC fans should enjoy it.

I was not familiar with this actress until I watched her interview on the Soapy podcast and was instantly fascinated by this story so I am looking forward to watching this.

I hope you like it!  Eva is really good friends with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos (she played Mark's sister, Maria Santos, on AMC). She's actually the godmother for one of their children. If you get a wild hair, you should watch AMC from the 90s :) She comes in 1993 and became an iconic character and part of a wonderful supercouple.  Not sure if you're still watching 90s GL, but if you have the time for AMC, you'd love it!

I would love to watch classic AMC episodes if they ever become available to the general public. Or if you have a source feel free to PM me with the link 😜 I loved the classic GL episodes but once I found classic Days episodes I ended up getting sidetracked with that. Still, I’d love to watch all the soaps from the 90s and even earlier.

She appeared with Kelly and Mark earlier this month.

It all began after she left AMC and joined CSI: Miami.

What’s chilling is that one of his very first letters coincided with her scheduled appearance on Kelly and Regis, where her stalker demanded she mention him. She didn’t comply at the time. Yet, in a bitter twist, she later reflected that by speaking about her stalker on Kelly and Mark, she was doing exactly what he had wanted. And now, he’s already out of prison—after serving just three years.

Isn't that so scary? Ugh, I feel so bad for her and Kaya. I hate that he's already out, but at least they know his face now. The not knowing makes it 10x scarier IMO.
