Well...I didn't hate it.

 

The funny thing is...I didn't dislike anything surrounding the Luna storyline. I liked that Electra called the police. I love seeing Katie. The return of Bridget! I liked Finn getting into it with Li. I liked Poppy coming back. I like watching the reactions as people are learning that Luna is still alive AND preggers. For me, it's just the fact that it's LUNA. Brad Bell went through all of these hoops to redeem her so he could keep a great actress. And now? Luna's back in that corner...even with a baby on the way. I can just smh.

 

I think the most intriguing thing for me this week that I watched has been watching this Taylee/Deacon thing building. If I am going to have to have Rebecca Budig here as Taylor over Krista Allen, she needs a storyline of her own for me to see her as a character in her own right. And even though it started previously, I guess this is it. And like I said, it's intriguing. A Taylor/Deacon/Sheila triangle? Hmmm. Though I can't help, but shake my head at everyone not taking in the fact that it is SHEILA.

 

I like Deke. And it's a good storyline with him sneaking in his designs. But it's a cute C plot. At least until everyone figures out who he's dating. And so far, it's a nice slow burn which I like. And I giggled at Deke and Electra meeting knowing that.

I really like HC as Deke, definitely great casting there!

JMW looks different. I don't know if it's plastic surgery or just her body changing from having a baby. The new studio lighting is definitely helping her look.

I like Zeke a lot and I hope Brad Bell doesn't have an episode of ADD and get rid of him.

I wish Luna had woken up with amnesia or brain damage, not remembering what she had done. That's the only way IMO to semi-redeem her.

My guess is it is the work she has had done (which is going into Hunter Tylo territory) and her post-pregnancy look.

It's pregnancy, women's faces do get puffy and women can look different after giving birth

I don't think that is going on work. They tried that with Esme over on GH and what she did was so bad that great actress that she was, the character could not overcome it. The audience remembers. I feel that will be the same with Luna. 

Amnesia wouldn't have even semi redeemed her cause she still did all those heinous things. It's like when Jonathan Lavery on AMC murdered people then the gave him a tumor and cut it out and paired with with Lily Montgomery. Huge backlash, cause he still committed those crimes

Exactly!!! The audience...like the North...remembers. 

IMO the term "amnesia" should be permanently banned from soap operas. It should be considered off-limits. We must never endure this again.
