ARTICLE: How Fans Can Purchase In-Person Tickets To Attend ‘The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards’

As announced earlier this month, for the first time since 2018, fans of daytime soap operas, talk shows, entertainment news shows, culinary, lifestyle, and how-to programs, among others, can now purchase tickets to attend “The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” taking place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday, October 17, in Pasadena, California, beginning at 4:00 p.m. PT for what is expected to be a three-hour telecast.

This year’s awards show is being hosted by Mario Lopez, as part of an exclusive partnership with “Access Hollywood.” Contenders for the top awards include “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless,” each of which is nominated in the Outstanding Drama Series, Drama Series Writing Team and Drama Series Directing Team categories, based on material submitted during calendar year 2024.

“The Young and the Restless” leads all nominations with 19, followed by “General Hospital” with 16. “Days of our Lives” received 13 nominations, followed by “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and “The Drew Barrymore Show,” each with nine nominations. “Living with Leopards” has five nominations, while “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The View” and “The Jennifer Hudson Show” are tied with four.

Among the television networks and streamers, Netflix leads with 32 nominations, followed by ABC and CBS, each with 25 nominations. Peacock received 14 nominations, while CBS Media Ventures has 12.

Fan Tickets

Tickets to attend the ceremony are $75 plus applicable taxes and fees, and are being handled by Ticketmaster, which is the EXCLUSIVE VENDOR for Daytime Emmy fan tickets. No other vendor is associated with these tickets. Fan tickets provide access to the CEREMONY ONLY. They do NOT provide access to the red carpet, pre-reception, backstage, or after-party.

Note: The Daytime Emmys ticketing team is NOT handling orders for fan tickets. All fan tickets are in the LOGE of the Pasadena Convention Center. The LOGE has a separate entrance from where nominees and their guests will enter.

Nominee/Nominee Guest/Academy Member Tickets

Nominees, guests of a nominee, and members of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) are advised that fan tickets are not the appropriate method to attain a ticket to attend the ceremony.

For those types of tickets, Rachel Schwartz, who oversees the Daytime Emmys, is the point of contact for this level of tickets to be purchased. That said, nominee tickets are now sold out. As an alternative, Standby Gala Tickets are available and include all the benefits of nominee tickets EXCEPT purchasers may have to wait in line for the After-Party/Gala, depending on capacity needs. Access Hollywood: Access to the Daytime Emmys

Beginning Monday, October 13, in a first-of-its-kind collaboration, “Access Hollywood” will feature five nights of dedicated Daytime Emmys segments leading up to the ceremony, giving fans an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at the award show.  Following the ceremony, on Monday, October 20, the entertainment news program will spotlight the Daytime Emmy Awards with notable red carpet moments, winner reactions, and exclusive footage from the night’s festivities.

 “The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” will be streamed live exclusively at watch.theemmys.tv and via The Emmys app.
