Marking her first foray in South Florida, “The Young and the Restless” star Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) is set to host an afternoon of high tea to benefit Camp Dream on Sunday, December 7, in Boynton Beach, FL.

Joining Linder will be some of her co-stars from the long-running drama series, including Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin), Bryton James (Devon Winters), Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) and Hayley Erin (Claire Newman), as well as Sam Kerrigan, the morning news anchor of local station CBS12 (WPEC), who will emcee the event. Le Blanc will co-host alongside Linder.

Featuring a silent auction, a Q&A with the cast, and an in-person only live auction that includes a tour of the set of “The Young and the Restless” for the lucky winner and their guest, with Linder serving as tour guide. The cast will also be on hand for an autograph session, where fans can take a photo with them. Additionally, Warner Marketing Inc. will be selling officially licensed merchandise from the daytime drama series and will sponsor gift bags for all ticket holders.

Providing a traditional summer camp experience for children and young adults with
special needs and moderate to severe disabilities, Camp Dream strives to see that no child has ever been turned away due to the severity of their condition or their financial capabilities. Camp Dream Summer Camp and Camp Out programs are 100% volunteer-based, and all the funds, minus expenses, go directly to providing recreational, educational, and social activities for campers.

As for the event itself, while fans indulge in their love for the soap opera by supporting Camp Dream, the attending cast, the emcee, and everyone working behind the scenes in planning are donating their free time and are not receiving any fees for appearing or taking part.

The cost for a single ticket is $225 (General Admission), while VIP tickets are $300 and include access to a special meet and greet with the cast before the event, preferred seating, and early access to the silent auction. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 7, at Benvenuto (1230 N. Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, FL 33435) from 11:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with VIP access starting at 11:00 a.m.

For more information, including how to purchase tickets, visit campdreamga.org/events or call (678) 367-0040.
