ARTICLE: DAYTIME EMMYS: Jane Elliot Sole Gold Circle Honoree; Kate Linder & James Reynolds Among Silver Circle Recipients

In addition to announcing Mario Lopez (“Access Hollywood,” “The Bold and the Beautiful”) as host of “The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the organization behind daytime television’s highest recognition, announced on Wednesday that Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine, “General Hospital”), Kate Linder (Esther Valentine, “The Young and the Restless”) and James Reynolds (Abe Carver, “Days of our Lives”) are among this year’s Gold & Silver Circle Honorees.

The 2025 Gold & Silver Circle Honorees join an exceptional group of professionals who have distinguished themselves through exceptional service within the television industry, setting standards for achievement, mentoring, leadership, and professional accolades for 50 or 25 years, respectively. They represent the best and brightest in the industry.

Elliot is the sole recipient being honored this year as part of the Gold Circle (50 years), with Linder and Reynolds being recognized as part of the Silver Circle (25 years). Other Silver Circle recipients include veteran casting director Judy Blye Wilson (“The Young and the Restless,” “All My Children,” “One Life to Live”), “Divorce Court” host and executive producer Star Jones, who also previously served as a co-host on “The View,” as well as Greg Barna, who has served as director of photography across numerous daytime staples, including “Travels with Darley,” “Equitrekking,” “Cyberchase For Reel,” “Bill Moyers – Close to Home,” “Beer Geeks,” “Lidia’s Family Table,” “Shelia Bridges Designer Living.”

“The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” is scheduled to take place on  Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California, which will be streamed live exclusively at watch.theemmys.tv and via The Emmys app. The Daytime Emmys honor outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts.

Access Hollywood: Access to the Daytime Emmys

Beginning Monday, October 13, in a first-of-its-kind collaboration, “Access Hollywood” will feature five nights of dedicated Daytime Emmys segments leading up to the ceremony, giving fans an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at the award show.  Following the ceremony, on Monday, October 20, the entertainment news program will spotlight the Daytime Emmy Awards with notable red carpet moments, winner reactions, and exclusive footage from the night’s festivities.

Attend the Ceremony

For the first time since 2018, a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase by fans, giving them a rare chance to experience the excitement of the industry’s most celebrated evening in person and cheer on their favorite performers, television hosts and creators as they are honored for their contributions to the art of daytime TV. 

Tickets are now on sale for $75 plus applicable fees, and are sold exclusively through Ticketmaster.
