American Ninja Warrior, NBC, Key Art

With casting currently underway, NBC on Monday formally announced that it has renewed “American Ninja Warrior” for an 18th season.

The summer competition series will return with all rounds filming in Las Vegas starting in the fall, which will include the introduction of a supersized three-lane racecourse, where ninjas will face off head-to-head-to-head in thrilling side-by-side races.

Continuing the action-packed, all-racing format for the National Finals, which was introduced during Season 17, the new season will see the winner take home a grand prize of $250,000.

The current season of “American Ninja Warrior” has reached more than 23 million total viewers across NBC and Peacock so far this summer, and ranks in the top 5 summer entertainment shows among linear total viewers.

In 2025, the show has amassed over 676 million social views across all platforms.

Produced by A. Smith & Co. Productions, executive producers include Arthur Smith, Kent Weed, Anthony Storm, Brian Richardson and Kristen Stabile.
