Soccer ratings are rising in the US. CBS/Paramount+ needs to provide a bunch of sports offerings to keep young men tuned in until its most important asset, the NFL, returns in September.

So, while ratings for this year's UEFA games are not yet known (by me), I checked last year's ratings for the games and most of the days that resulted in preemptions for CBS' daytime shows, UEFA games attracted barely a million viewers. This includes the pre-game show.
