ARTICLE: Iconic Game Show ‘The Price is Right’ Celebrates 10,000 Episodes, Sets Encore In Primetime

Continuing to rank as the most-watched and highest-rated daytime show on broadcast television, “The Price is Right” will celebrate its 10,000th episode on Wednesday, February 26 on CBS.

Marking Drew Carey’s 3,269th as host, the episode will have contestants “come on down!” to play fan-favorite games with a 10,000 theme, including the popular “Grand Game” with a chance to win a $100,000 cash prize; “Any Number” where the piggy bank will be worth 10,000 times the normal value, and “Lucky Seven” played as “Lucky Ten” with ten $1 bills instead of the usual seven, giving a contestant an even greater chance at winning a new car.

In honor of the milestone, “The Price is Right” is donating $10,000 to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness for all they do to educate, support, and advocate to improve the lives of the millions of Americans who are affected by mental illness. Host Drew Carey advocates for making mental health a priority as part of his signature sign-off at the end of each show.

As always, Carey will be joined by announcer George Gray and models Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster, Manuela Arbeláez, Alexis Gaube, James O’Halloran and Devin Goda in honoring this landmark milestone.

An encore presentation of the milestone episode will be aired in primetime on Tuesday, March 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

For anyone interested in attending a taping of the iconic game show before it concludes its current 53rd season, tickets can be reserved through On Camera Audiences with the final taping for the season set for Friday, February 28.
