Saturday Night Live, SNL, SNL50, SNL50: The Anniversary Special

In anticipation of “SNL50: The Anniversary Special,” airing live on Sunday, February 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on NBC and simulcast on Peacock, the network announced on Thursday a star-studded lineup of celebrities and musicians taking part.

Scheduled to make an appearance during the live three-hour telecast are Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Kim Kardashian, Martin Short, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Woody Harrelson, with additional names to be announced.

Along with the aforementioned names, the network also released a promo for the special, highlighting all the aforementioned names as the camera pans into the iconic Studio 8H where the series tapes at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

Outside of the live special on February 16, Peacock will livestream “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” from Radio City Music Hall, hosted by Jimmy Fallon

Airing Friday, February 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT, the special is being executive produced by Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson, with the concert showcasing performances from the likes of Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, David Byrne, DEVO, Eddie Vedder, Jack White, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn, The B-52s and The Roots, with more names to be announced soon.

Fans of the late night show can currently stream a collection of original documentary programming tailored around the late night staple on Peacock, including “SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night” and NBC’s “Ladies & Gentlemen … 50 Years of SNL Music.”

Produced in association with Broadway Video, “Saturday Night Live” airs Saturday nights on NBC and is available to stream on Peacock. The series was created by Lorne Michaels, who continues to executive produce the series.
